Our move was a complete disaster. They started late because of a flat on one truck. Arrived with two trucks but wasn't enough for all our stuff so we had to move ourselves. Their truck broke down a mile from old house. Took them six hours to get a new truck and reload our stuff. It was all out on a parking lot in 100+ degree heat. They finally arrived at 9:30 pm and didn't finish until nearly 2am. They threw a bunch of stuff in the garage though all were clearly marked. They damaged all kinds of stuff. Our fridge is scratched and dented. Our Sunbrella outdoor cushions are all torn. Numerous broken items. They compensated us $350 for $1000s of damage. Hired this company to help us move to a new town 20 minutes away. We requested they pack and move the entire downstairs of the house plus an upstairs playroom. We would pack and box up the upstairs but the company would move the boxes to the new house. They were also to dismantle, move and reassemble all the beds and my husbands desk. I can honestly say the only thing they completed was the beds. My husband had to breakdown and reassemble his desk. They only did half of the packing and moving of downstairs. The employees were very nice but as soon as they got there the Forman started complaining it was going to take them at least two days to do the job. They left boxes and furniture behind both upstairs and downstairs and half of our stuff wasn't even packed but looked more thrown about. I took photos of everything. It took us plus family and friends another three days to finish what they started. My husband had tried calling but after two days received no call back. I called and the girl basically admitted that had received his voice message but didn't bother to get back to him. She told me to email me experiece, photos and what I think fair compensation would be. I did and received a boilerplate email. I waited a week and emailed again this time also indicating I collect vintage toys and one of my pieces was severely damaged in the move. Still crickets. I requested half my money back since they did half the job and still nothing. I warned them several times I would post a negative view should they continue to ghost me. I'll be requesting a reversal payment from my bank which I also warned them I would do. Still crickets! Save your money and hire someone else or use it to buy your loyal family and friends a nice dinner. read more

I lived on a 3rd floor with no elevators so the move was not easy. Two reasons that I don't recommend using Mustang Moving: #1. They charge fees outside of the contract #2 They do not complete the move. 1.Mustang Movers charges a 3% fee for using a debit or credit card. On the contract, it simply states a 3% fee for credit card transactions. But as you try to use your debit card (which is not a credit card), you'll be charged the same fees. The person at mustang movers says that 'they mean both credit and debit'. I don't think they understand the point of a contract. 2. The movers were nice guys but failed to move many items after telling me my place is 'empty'. I returned to clean my condo only to find several crates, an ironing board, a computer chair, two boxes, and a full clothes hamper. Clearly I should have looked myself but I just assumed that these movers were doing their jobs. Unfortunately they weren't. And I don't recommend using them. PLEASE READ In a concise summary to the owner's response... 1) The Uhaul was NOT leaking. Read below. 2) There were MULTIPLE protectors to use. So no, the mattress and box springs weren't unprotected because we "chose to use the mattress protector for different belongings" as the owner implies. The movers simply didn't use the protectors we provided. Plain and simple. Wordy update: I was hoping for better but have been majorly disappointed. As you can read below, the owner takes no accountability and cannot even offer a simple apology. He shows no concern for his customers who trusted him and his team. We would like to call out the lie that the Uhaul was leaking. It was not. One mover pointed out a "puddle" to my husband, AFTER they already loaded the mattress and other items into the Uhaul and onto the water. The movers kept the Uhaul door constantly open, allowing the rain to get inside even more, causing this puddle. My husband even commented on this to them. Of course, the rain was going to get in, but there were so many things that could have been done to mitigate the damage. And Mustang Movers did not take appropriate action. Yes, one of our mattress protectors was used to cover our clothes (they did this at the very end). But we had other ones to use too, which are still in their package, unopened and unused. In regards to the drying recommendation, it has been 5 days since MM helped us move, and our mattress and box spring are still damp. Even after we put them in the direct sun, dried them, and put baking soda on them. Providing a response and tip 5 days later is useless. They are still damp 5 days later, so there is definitely a risk for mold and mildew. The owner rudely saying he doesn't "think" the items are ruined does not make it true. I cannot believe he has shown no empathy regarding the stress and inconveniences he has caused, but this seems to be a pattern for him. I was trying to be optimistic and positive, but the owner's response does not deserve that. read more
