Taken from the chambleega website: Keswick Park Chamblee's largest park, covering more than 45 acres, with a neighborhood focus. Facilities Include: walking trails (that connect to the Mid city district) dog park a full-size adult softball field tee-ball field soccer field multi-purpose field two tennis court outdoor basketball court Our playground facilities are ADA accessible playgrounds. 3,500 square foot community building Keswick is a true neighborhood park, because we visited the entryway at the park sign and only saw a couple of fields, walking trial and a playground. It wasn't until we continued driving did we see the park expanding and reaching into different corners of the neighborhood. If I lived in the area i'd visit this park daily, and the fact that you can take a trail to the city is kinda awesome. Clean park with lots to do as well as a community building with restrooms makes Keswick Park a neighborhood park hidden to all but those who live here. Pay this hidden gem a visit.

The park is managed by the Atlanta Memorial Park Conservancy who main focus of the parks conservation. At 199-acres, the park is Atlanta's 3rd largest park and is located among Buckhead's Memorial Park neighborhood. The park somehow claims the Bobby Jones Golf Course and Bitsy Grant Tennis Center. It runs along the Peachtree Creek and is a memorial to those who died in the Battle of Peachtree Creek You will see a small memorial called Debbie's Place, in the front of the park, that honors Debbie Felker. This is a nice low key park that sits low in a ravine. As I mentioned, the park is not short on green space that could be used to play field sports such as soccer, football, and baseball. You could also fly a kite, have a picnic or play catch there as well. The park has a lot of shade. You will find an outdoor seating area with tree stumps that looks like it it used for learning. There are also a few picnic tables and benches to sit as well. It should be noted that the park is in a floodplain, so it floods during heavy rains. The park has a playground area, that is on a bed of wood chips. There are toddler swings, a large net climber structure, a play structure with slides, tunnels, and bridges, a saucer swing, and ADA/traditional swing, a 4-person see-saw, and a a large play structure with a bunch of tall slides, monkey bars, bridges and a canopy. There is also a small slide structure for the littles. The equipment is a bit older, but still in decent shape. The park hosts events such as Sunday Sweets in the park!, Memorial in Motion, and free tree tours. This is a nice park with a paved path that is popular among walkers/joggers and those walking their dogs. There are also wooded/nature trails to trek as well. I like this park even though it is lacking amenities such as a restroom, basketball courts and is not modernized. Definitely worth a visit.

The park is a nature park has has many picnic tables and shelters, with picnic tables under them scattered on both sides of the park. Some of the picnic tables and shelters are located along the river and provide some panoramic views. The park also features a nice nature trail that is in the wood and pretty well shaded. On one side of the park you will find a small, but newer playground area with percussion instruments, saucer swings, and a couple of slides. It is pretty basic. The other side has a much larger playground. It has a huge play structure that looks like a fort and has a rock climbing wall, slides, and bridges. There is also a pyramid net climber, saucer swings, and toddler swings. The equipment is pretty spread out and in pretty good shape. There is a smaller play structure for little ones which has tunnels, slides, and bridges. You will find rocking animals in that area as well. This side of the park also has a restroom facility. This park is certified as a wildlife habitat and you will see water fowl, geese, beavers and squirrels up close and personal to name just a few animals. Someone was fishing while I was there, but I do not know how good the fishing is, or even if it is allowed. I do not know if it is part of the park, but across the street you will find a huge and amazing baseball complex that looks like it is home to a junior college. It is nice and very well maintained. All in all, this park is decent. It is well maintained and the lake and views are awesome . I will admit that There is not much to offer outside of the trails, shelter, lake, and picnic tables. I like the park, but I was not wow'ed or overwhelmed. The playgrounds are somewhat basic and probably would not holds a kids attention too long. This park would be great for those looking for a nature park.

I know this park was renovated in 2023-2024 but my goodness it is an amazing space to bring your dogs. The dog park area is completely fenced in and spans over roughly 5 acres. There is a central pavilion at the entrance of the park in addition to two gates at the entrance for safety. There are two unisex bathrooms under the pavilion, benches everywhere, dog poop stations, a small splash pad, and couple hoses where you can wash off your pups. This park has all terrains such as concrete, grass, and wooded areas where a creek runs through. When I go, I frequently walk laps in the park and the scenery is just amazing! The city of Brookhaven does a great job maintaining the park with daily maintenance. Highly recommend checking out this park!

That said, the course could really benefit from clearer signage. Several pads weren't well marked, and we even had to skip a hole because we couldn't figure out where it started or ended. Since we only had time to play about half the course, we found ourselves spending more minutes navigating than throwing. I can't imagine how tough it must be in the summer when everything is fully leafed out -- it's probably like searching for a needle in a haystack. Still, it's a solid course in a great park, and with better markings it could easily be a five‑star experience.

While there were a ton of people, there was plenty of parking and I appreciated that there was an officer there to keep the flow of cars moving along. The park itself had several playgrounds and I loved they were padded. The kids had a blast on slides, swings and running around in the wide open space. The bathrooms were clean which always makes things even better. The kids had a blast playing with all the other kids and this is definitely a playground I'd come back to visit.

Unfortunately, the people running Crest Lawn Memorial Park are the exact OPPOSITE of that. After my mother passed, they made our lives more difficult by, as far as I can figure, simple incompetence and laziness. Simply getting an email or phone call returned required incredible persistence, and sometimes even that was inadequate. My brother had to make multiple visits to the property to move along the process of getting my mother's headstone ordered and placed. All in all, it took us about a month short of TWO YEARS from the date she passed to get the marker in the ground. Unlike businesses that are easy to "fire" when they do a terrible job, once your loved ones are buried at Crest Lawn you're not going anywhere, and they obviously know that. Alas, we were stuck with them since my father and grandparents are also buried there. No matter how low I had set my expectations for their service, they continually found a way to limbo underneath that. If you have the choice, DO NOT even CONSIDER buying a plot here, and if you have an unused one, sell it and buy one elsewhere.

Crest Lawn Memorial Park looks like a mid-sized bump from Marietta Boulevard, but once you float…read morethrough the gate, rolling hills offering an amazing view of downtown Atlanta and Buckhead emerge. The park spans 145 acres containing weeping evergreen trees that look like they belong in the Northwest along with other vegetation that sits bare in the winter but surely will burst with blossoms in the spring. Historic Civil War markers dot the undulating landscape, along with mausoleums, sculptures and headstones--some still paired with foot-high Christmas trees and holiday garlands. If I made out in cars, I'd park on one of the utmost hills and neck. But I guess I'm a grown-up, so I can eat a meal up there or meditate instead.
