She asked for my children to be present and ready to learn, but also asked to have a back up plan (baby sitter) because kids can be "needy". Instead they were on their electronics the whole time in their room while my husband and I spent 2 hours listening to her talk our ears off. We had to reschedule a 4 o'clock appointment because of her family matter, which I understand. She had us rescheduled for a 6 o'clock appointment. I explained to her that late in evenings are hard for me, and earlier would be better. I had a brain aneurysm and i struggled mentally when I am tired. She wasn't flexible The only reason I am giving 2 stars, is because she did give us a few helpful tricks that could have taken 10 minutes vs. 2 hours. She should have included my kids.

My husband found Linda and her In Relation with Dogs website, and immediately I was grateful. Her website describes perfectly her attitude and approach to animal behavior and the importance of building a relationship between you and your pet. Linda's Puppy Training introduced us to this basic shift and approach to animal behavior, and the role of a pet in the family. Through private lessons at our home, Linda was able to educate, model, and practice training skills with each person in our family. She was able to observe our different levels of understanding and styles, our interactions with our puppy, Otis, and see the environment in which we live. She respectfully and supportively instructed us in specific moments of interaction and became a valuable resource for our entire family. Linda has years of experience and education, and shares her knowledge in a respectful and considerate way. Linda has accompanied us on a training journey that continues to evolve. We now have plans for Otis. We think about his needs, and consider him, completely differently than we had before working with Linda. We continue to learn, and Linda continues to be available with a genuine interest and love for what she does. In Relation with Dogs is much more that a puppy or dog training course. It is an opportunity to consider a new approach animal (and human) behavior. Linda inspires us to develop positive relationships, establish new habits or modify behavior patterns, and consider that positively reinforcing behavior, certainly doesn't just apply to dogs.

Let me start by saying I'm not one to write reviews at all, let alone a bad one. This was truly one…read moreof the worst and strangest customer experiences I've had, handled in the most unprofessional manner. I would urge you to read this before considering giving these people your business. I called to ask if they'd be able to get my puppy in for a nail trimming, they let me know that service is offered upon walk in, so I brought him in. When I arrived, I told one of the women working there that I'd called for a nail trim, and without asking a single question other than my dog's name, or sharing any information at all about the process, pricing, questions/concerns, etc. she pulled him out of my arms and carried him to the back. I stood in the doorway to watch, as I hadn't been instructed to do anything otherwise. I was already starting to feel uneasy as the place smelled gross and didn't look clean. I then realized she was fully distracted as she started trimming his nails, and was yelling at a dog that was wandering the floor. My puppy looked super uncomfortable (he is otherwise a very calm pup). I asked her if I should come back there to comfort him, she said no and "this is all normal". My puppy jumped nervously when she trimmed the next nail - she said "ooooh buddy, did I getcha?" and checked his paw to confirm she'd trimmed it too short and he was bleeding. She applied a sterile powder and then dropped the container and yelled "there goes 30 bucks!!". At that point I said I was uncomfortable with her continuing, which two other groomers heard as they were standing in the doorway next to me, but again, she said "this is all normal" (which shouldn't matter if a customer says they're uncomfortable) and continued anyway. She kept saying "did I getcha?" which made me think maybe she'd cut him again, but the powder was all spilled at this point so I'm not really sure how she would have treated it if she had. Once she finished she brought my puppy back to me and I was visibly upset. I told her he'd never been cut by any other groomer before, and that I was uncomfortable with how this whole interaction had gone as it was very unprofessional. She said "there isn't a dotted line we do the best we can". Fine, but should have been handled better. I told her she didn't allow any time for questions/concerns before taking him, didn't share pricing, etc. as mentioned above. Her response was condescending, saying "well I thought we had a great time!". I shared that as a customer, it doesn't really matter if YOU think you had a great time, I had a really poor experience. I asked if they clean the nail trimming equipment they use between dogs - as a relatively new dog parent I was worried about him being susceptible to an infection since she cut him - to which she replied "no we do not". At that point, I was ready to get out of there and asked how much the services would be - still happy to pay even after such a poor experience. As she walked away, she replied "you know what, don't worry about it - since that's what you came in here looking for anyway" - insinuating that I went in there intending not to pay, and adding insult to injury. Incredibly rude - just an awful experience all around.

Please read. I want…read moreto start first by saying the owner is more than lovely. And I have done my fair share at trying to give them a second shot, a third shot, even a fourth shot because the owner is so sweet, but time after time, I have had awful groomers who have disregarded my requests...botched jobs...and been more than rude with me. Every single time it's the same, I get a puppy cut, and tell them to leave her eyelashes...pretty simple. The last time I went in, was the last straw. I dropped her off at 830 a.m., and was told she would be ready by noon. around noon, I received a call asking what kind of cut I wanted because there is no such thing as a puppy cut.... I was in complete aw of how rude this employee was to me on the phone, not to mention the fact that she is just now about to give her a cut when i was scheduled to pick her up? What has my dog been doing all day? Just ignored? locked up? no one taking her outside? I was told she was first in line to be taken care of when she was dropped off this morning, so When the employee was being combative with me on the phone, i asked to speak with the manager..I was told there was no manager working there at the moment and I could talk to another groomer. She apologized on her behalf, but it felt very off, and left me in a very uncomfortable position. While being scared for my dog. My dog didn't end up getting done until 3 p.m. When we got her, there were uneven patches, AGAIN, and her eyelashes were cut off. On her grooming card, in big letters, it says "DO NOT TOUCH EYELASHES" Needless to say, I have wasted hundreds of dollars on piss poor haircuts, awful service, and animal neglect on their behalf, but MOST importantly..I do not trust these groomers. You can be a bad groomer but still be good with dogs, and this is not the case. They've messed up her hair so many times, and I still tried because I felt comfortable with the owner, but at this point, I realize if he isn't there, they literally do not care, are lazy, and rude. I will never leave my dog alone with these people.

Do not recommend this groomer to anyone !
