1/2 Tenderloin and sweet potato fries
Korki D.

Went to Wildey's on Thursday, April 4, 2024 for lunch. Service as always was very good. My dining companion and I both ordered the 1/2 tenderloin with extra pickles. I had sweet potato fries as a side and he opted for regular fries. The sandwich is well prepared, thick and meaty. These tenderloins are not hammered out to where all you can taste is batter like some places do. The sweet potato fries and sandwich were delicious! Hot and crispy! One of the best tenderloins in the area.

Wildey's Tenderloin hit the spot! Service was great and I will come back. Next time I'm trying the breakfast.

Tenderloin was fantastic and they service breakfast all day . Next time I'm in town I will come back to Wildey's

Sausage skillet with sausage gravy. Mmmmmmm

Glad I found this place. Who would have guessed a gem like this place would turn up. If you are in the area or just driving through, this is a must stop to satisfy that country food craving. I'm talking big portions with all that heart healthy butter and grease that makes your mouth water. I ordered the skillet with ham and sausage gravy on top. Mmmmmmm. So good. Now, before you health nuts cry and complain about this place, keep in mind, this is country cooking. Butter, fat, deep fry!!! It's not meant to be healthy. It's meant to taste so damn good you feel disgusting about yourself but would eat more because it's that good. When you first walk in, it's nothing special to look at. But that also goes to its charm of being a country diner. It's simple and quiet. Our waitress was polite and on point. If I'm ever in the area, I will be back to try more of their menu. As long as they don't skimp on the fatty goodness, I'm sure I'll love it.

Had a great experience here on the way back from summer camp music festival. Great people and you can tell it is where the locals are always headed. Would recommend to anyone for a nice tasty omelette.

We got the wrong drinks twice. There were no lids for kids cups. Food was ok. There was one waitress for the whole restaurant.

I got the tenderloin, and I would advise getting the half unless you want a challenge!

I've ordered online ahead of time, gone in and grabbed, and also sat down to eat. Every service style is high quality. I would recommend ordering ahead if you're getting food and are in a rush!

I come to Nat's Place every few months when traveling with a client and always enjoy the food but…read morethe service is lacking. I usually stop in between 2:30-3 when there are few customers -maybe 2-4 at the most. There are always 4 waitresses behind the bar. Today we sat for ten minutes before I went to get our menus. One waitress looked at me but didn't say anything. The ladies were huddled by the register talking and looking at their phones. Another ten minutes went by so I went to the bar to ask if I should order there. Three girls looked at me but continued over to the cooler where they visited with a waitress on her break. I finally said, "excuse me. Should I order at the bar." They responsed,"no" and in a few minutes one came to take our order. My guest had fries with her sandwich. The fries appeared to perhaps been partially frozen and then fried in a large clump. The inside of the clump of fries was soggy. Each time I go to Nat's I think the service will get better. After reading the reviews on Yelp where they share the same experience. I can only wonder if this is an ongoing issue with this place. Poor service equals no returns which is a huge problem for a small business. Food and is good and atmosphere is welcoming.

Club La-Con has had great food for a long time…read more Must emphasize the Friday (all you can eat fish fry) is THE BEST I've ever consumed. ( It would appear they use a fried chicken batter on the fish - GENIUS ! - as I'm not a big fan of beer batter - but do love corn meal or better yet cracker meal) Pair that with the homemade Corn Fritters (again, the best you ever had) and It's a feast you will never forget.

NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY First, let me tell you…read morethat I hadn't been to this establishment since I was a teenager. It was Saturday evening at 5:20pm, and we walked in and should have turned back since there were only 3 cars in the parking lot. We walked into the restaurant with looks of an old rundown, out of date food restaurant. We waited a short time for a table, even though there were probably 12 tables free out of 15. Not many were there, and it was around 5:20pm. One group of about 10 people and another elderly couple were in the dining room. We were seated and given a menu. We asked if the tenderloin was a true tenderloin or a pounded-out poark loin chop. She didn't know, nor did she go back and ask. Even though she said she said she was the one that made them. We placed our order. I received my salad and a slice of bread along with a corn fritter. We opted for an order of their home-made onion rings for an appetizer and the server asked if we would want ranch dressing. We both said, "YES". Believe me, they were nothing to write home about unless it's to let you know, they're not worth the money. The ranch dressing was extremely watery with hardly any flavor. Terribly tough onion rings and the crust was hard. My husband was having problems chewing them. Then came my 14 oz. Ribeye steak with a baked potato, and hubbies' "tenderloin sandwich" and fries. One look at the extremely thin sandwich, we both knew it was a loin chop. It had no flavor and was very dry. The fries that came with it were limp and cold in the middle. He told our server, and she said, "I'll tell her", now remember that comment. I also wanted a side of their raviolis so we could share. Big mistake, big big mistake. Neither one of us could take more than one bite and honestly, we thought they were old and even expired a week ago. Yes, they were that bad. Downright NASTY! Now for my steak. I ordered it rare to medium rare. I cut into it and it was more like medium well done and LOADED with black pepper. So much pepper it was burning my mouth. We let one of the servers know about it and she took it away and soon she brought back a rare - medium rare Ribeye. NO seasoning whatsoever. It had no taste at all and it was our guess that the cook/owner (I haven't a clue which) picked out the fattiest steak she could find. I bet I had cut more than 4 oz of uncooked fat off. It was terrible. Don't get me wrong, I love the fat on a Ribeye but nothing like that steak had. I didn't want to eat any more of it. I did eat my slice of bread and the corn fritter that came with my meal. Those two were the best tasting items of all. I brought my baked potato home and my small piece of Ribeye. Hubby brought his half of the tenderloin home and the uncooked fries. Our air fryer will take care of those cold soggy fries. All I can say is, NEVER AGAIN will we EVER be back. I was so very disappointed. It was nothing I/we expected. We told the server about the NASTY ravioli and her comment, "Nobody else complained about it and I will tell her about it". Like my husband said, no one in the place had it. We assumed she would have taken them off the bill, but NO. I even reminded her that we could not eat the raviolis as our server was ringing up our total. Nothing was taken off. The bill came to over $59 which we were charged $1 for the watery Ranch dressing that the server asked if we would like some for our onion rings. What a waste of good money, let alone our time and gas money to drive there and back home. Our advice for you is to run and don't look back. If I could have given them a big fat zero, I would have but Yelp didn't offer that rating.
