And those that remained still seemed stuck in 1980's funereal-style arrangements... lots of mums or stargazers and filler. But Yelp helped me narrow down a few possibilities. Fiddlehead Florals checked off all my boxes... gorgeous & modern design with beautiful, sustainably-sourced and seasonal/local flower selections; excellent and easy customer service over the phone where the designer (I think owner?) listened to what I hoped to have delivered and helped me arrive at my final decision; and they worked all of this within my targeted budget without trying to just upsell me at their sales target. I found their prices very reasonable for the service, delivery, and of course their selection of beautiful flowers. Since this is a 10th Anniversary, I wanted something dramatic, colorful, and seasonal. I called with almost 2 weeks lead time, and my requested delivery to outside the Portland area was no problem.
