My appointment started 20 minutes late (that time was not made up on the back end); the "body scrub" was rushed and not at all thorough; the technician waited a full 10 minutes to come back to the room after the scrub/wrap, despite being in the room when I turned the shower off (it literally takes 30 seconds to hop out of a shower and onto a massage table, so I have no idea why she waited so long to return). The "massage" was bare minimum--it's basically just them applying lotion--and it fell far short of the 20 minutes that was advertised. The owner/manager was not there on the day of my appointment (I expressed my concerns to the women at the front desk; they said they couldn't help me but said they'd have the owner call me). When I later explained to the owner/manager that my appointment was cut way short and that I certainly wouldn't describe any of it as relaxing or pampering, she offered me a $20 credit (the service cost me $125). I let her know that I don't live in Fargo and have no use for a credit (nor would I want to return and spend (ie risk wasting) even more money); she became argumentative, claiming that my story didn't align with what the technician told her. I can understand why the technician lied about what happened--that's what people do when they're at risk of being reprimanded or possibly fired--but I don't understand the owner/manager's response. I'm a veteran and I chose Affinity because it's veteran owned, but it's way overpriced for what you actually get and they won't even try--in good faith--to make things right when they go wrong. Save yourself the trouble--and heed the advice of the other 1-star reviews; go to one of the many other spas in the area.

Trisha did an awesome job all-around, and I actually started falling asleep at the very end during the final neck-shoulder-head massage. So, with being happy with Trisha on this visit AND having outstanding massages with Karen in the past, I can assure you that you should enjoy your massage here no matter who you schedule with. On top of all of this, their near-downtown Fargo location was very convenient as I work downtown.
