Clothing for everyone in your family. I believe there was an education section, which is valuable to beginners and or people who want to brush up their skills. Customer service was absent. Saw associates free and looking my way but no one approached me at all. I don't know if I'll be back, not something I want to experience again.

This is a pretty awesome outdoors type store with very expensive prices located at the gargantuan Mall of America. I like the store and Barbie likes it but they don't really have the kinds of things that either of us tend to buy or wear. They're comparable to Columbia. But not the country nor the University. Sadly. Oh and the kid in here was a really nice lad and was half-ogling my bae and half being super friendly to me.

Honestly, most store employees avoid making eye contact with us and I will admit it isn't easy shopping with a little guy who compulsively touches things, but this was a huge highlight of our day on Sunday. Let me just start with the fact that I love Filson. The main problem is that I simply can't afford…read morealmost anything that they sell. I wasn't sure what I would find going into the Filson Outlet, considering that most everything that they have is very high quality, and rarely discounted. Upon entering the store, I noticed many many items that I had wanted from the previous season on the shelves. Not only that, they were discounted VERY steeply. I got a couple of vests for around $40 each, and also got a jacket that was made for a special event as a "Thank You" give-away to the people who put on the event. I was told only 15 were ever made, and I got one of them. I have seen similar items from Filson go for $300-$500 and I paid $80. I was truly like a kid in a candy store. This is not a typical outlet store with odd-ball items, and strange colors. Sure there is some of that, but much of what this store is selling is still very much in, and is the same quality as any other Filson Product. They do not make discount clothing, this store is mostly closeouts and a handful of factory seconds. The only downside is that they did not have hardly any bags, and the bags that they did have were not nearly as significantly discounted as the clothing. This doesn't come as a surprise to me because they are known for their bags. The salesperson sold me that sometimes it's the other way around, they have tons of bags and very few clothes. The sale people were also very nice and helpful. If you are a Filson fan, you will not be disappointed!!

A guy named "Kong" helped me and he was great. The rest of the guys workign the day I was there…read more(around the 2nd of January) literally sucked. It's almost like, if you do NOT fit a fly fishing, age appropriate prototype, you are not worthy of actually being in that store. Time for a reality check guys, you need to learn more about retail service. Kong would probably agree because he was leagues above them. That being said, holy SHIT is this the way to shop Filson. I found a couple of fleece and jackets, and the staff were very helpful in locating specific designs. If you can't find a particular style or a size, they can order it for you and ship anywhere. +friendly service +great selection of clothing

Bought a backpack for my grandson at this store last July. It was for school so he didn't start…read moreusing it until September. After a few months of use it started to come apart at one of non-stitched seams. Obviously a manufacturing defect. I took the backpack to the store but was told they only issue refunds or exchanges for 30 days. The salesperson agreed it was a defect but told me I would have to contact Fjallraven for a repair. Contacted the company and felt like they treated me as someone who was trying to rip them off. Sent a copy of the receipt and pictures on the defect. They finally agreed to repair it but I'd have to ship it to them and eat the $28 cost. Not what I'd call good customer service. I'll be sticking with REI which stands behind its products.
