Show curator, Mr. Flower Fantastic, crafted a beautiful homage to New York City with taxi trunks, laundry mats, and City Townhouses covered and full of different varieties of orchids. The exhibit is a beautiful colorful display. I would sum the entire walk through of the exhibit at about 30 minutes with the option to join a dance party outside Enid A. Haupt Conservatory and enjoy drinks for purchase and disco music until the exhibit closes for the day. We definitely enjoyed ourself and had a wonderful evening. I can't wait to see what they come up with next year.

These days, admission is about $17-$23 depending on your age. Reasonable, especially since it's not a huge zoo. I get in free because I have the WCS Family Membership. If you enjoy the Bronx Zoo and think you'll stop by here once or twice a year, the membership will easily pay for itself. You'll probably spend about an hour and a half here. You can spend longer if you catch one of the scheduled shows or experiences--I remember seeing a seasonal 4D show here. They also have restrooms and a small café. Right in the middle of the zoo is the seal exhibit. If you time it right, you can catch feeding time for the seals or the penguins. Secret tip: If you have no money, sit on the bench just outside the zoo and you can still watch the seals swimming around. Don't even bother with a map here. With the seals in the middle, just walk around them and you'll naturally see everything else. Complete the semicircle and you're done. If you have little ones and they're still eager for more, there's also the Tisch Children's Zoo just a short walk away. It's an easy addition to your day and has some great animals and hands-on exhibits for younger kids. It's a relaxing way to spend a couple of hours in Central Park and one of my favorite little zoos to visit.

The farm animals are well taken care off. The package included a sheep, an alpaca, goats, chickens (one laid an egg), bunnies. There was a baby cow!! I also had a bounce house. It was very spacious and we had adults jumping in the bounce house after the kids left. The cotton candy and icees were concessions were yummy and a hit. Great customer service experience. I had a lot of questions that were answered quickly. Arrived on time and smooth setup.

The first time I was here, my late partner brought me here years ago, and I immediately fell in love with the place. Most of the time the farm is free, unless you are coming to a special event. There's plenty of spaces for walking, you can see food and flowers being grown, and you can tell that the animals are being well taken care of. One of the big events of the year, is the "Maize maze. It's not as easy as it looks. the one time, my partner and I did the maze, Yep. We got lost. However, we did make it out without ever having to either call for help, or use the "cheater platform. " This is a wonderful escape from the city, right smack dab in the city.

I have spend my younger years here at this park during college and grad school. I am glad I could be here again after MIA. Overall, I love Central park.
