Literally NO odor from any of the many enclosures. Just goes to show how well the animals are cared for. Very well maintained. He has been rescuing animals for over 30 years and his commitment to caring for them is clear. While I didn't go on an official "tour" he was nice enough to show me around his sanctuary. The animals are all like his children providing them the BEST Forever home!! Pigs, Goats, Horse, Geese, Peacocks, Cats, Tortoises, Prairie Dogs, Iguanas, Deer, Zebra, Foxes, Raccoons, & More!! We got to the aquarium around 10:30am today and let me tell you, the instant we arrived we were told there was a teaching about sharks going on. On the way to the teaching, there was a friendly lil guy we passed on the way. He was so stinkin cute. The older gentleman says he roams the entire place when he's hungry and looking for food lol. The shark teaching was so good. Lots of great information as well as the diver inside the aquarium. It was so fun to see her feed the fishes and shark while we were getting the information. The next teaching we went to was the baby alligators. It was so cute, but they were pretty feisty. Lol. The next teaching was the best one I've personally ever had experienced. They did the teaching about their two big gators - Indiana jones & Donkey. Now, I've been to many aquariums from Hawaii all the way to Canada. This aquarium was only one I've ever been to where to gators look alive, happy and well cared for. You can tell that these guys really do love their job and the animals they have. The teaching was amazing and such a great experience. We also got to feed stingrays, baby sharks, baby gators and much more! The petting zoo was so cute as well. All in all - I can't recommend this place enough. If you're wanting to go somewhere where you get what you pay for - this is the place to do it. I've paid much more for animals that just look like they'd much rather not be there. 10/10, you guys at Tarpon Springs Aquarium are doing great! We left at 2:30 by the way. All the animals and attractions; it reminds me of a cruise excursion. There is so much to see and do. The rides are included. I enjoyed the interpretive ride experience with the guide explaining each animal in that section. It's even wheelchair accessible as the truck has a wheelchair lift; nice! I like the manatees, birds, bears, elephants and more. There is so much to see and it's a good time for kids, big kids, parents and grandparents. There is plenty of parking with a fee but it's all part of the experience. I purchased tickets at the door and there was no wait! My little one had a blast !

It was very personal and the amount of history of the Ranch was fascinating. She explained the sad peril of the all elephants over the world. The Ranch is solely run by her family which has been caring for elephants for generations. They do the they can to give the elephants the best life they can have as unfortunately most elephants know nothing about the wild. Patrica was gentle with the two elephants that we were introduced to. When visiting the ranch you need to have an open mind. Great educational experience!

An Elephant is letting you ride on their backs, is lying down or is doing tricks only out of fear. They have been forced into submission by applying pain, with bull hooks behind their ears, which is extremely painful, with whips, confinements, food depreciation and fatigue. Those gentle giants have to endure years of fear and pain for peoples entertainment. Two Tails Ranch is saying that they teach people about Elephants, what hypocrites they are.

We were so enthralled in the amazing variety of animals here. Each one seemed to have a unique story and a unique personality. Manyof the animal areas we under some degree of construction to make the area better, which is great because they truly have a great thing going. The animals seemed pretty interactive and enjoyed "communicating" with you when you engaged them. The volunteers and staff are friendly and informative, and obviously very hard working. We will certainly be back.

I visited Suncoast Primate Sanctuary after finding it on Groupon. I learned that it used to be a…read moreroadside attraction where people could buy monkeys and take them home, but it has since become a rescue and retirement sanctuary. Each primate has a story, and while many of them are sad, I'm grateful there is now a safe place where they are cared for. The volunteers were kind, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the animals. The visit was emotional and a bit depressing at times, but that's to be expected given the nature of a rescue sanctuary. I still strongly encourage people to support this place and the important work they do. One tip: wear bug spray -- I ended up with quite a few bites on my legs.

The road meanders through wildlife that has the run of the road. If an ostrich decided to stop on the road, we would have to stop and wait for him or her to move along. Most of the animals will look your way, curious as to who is passing by and are not bothered in the least. We end our trip with a stop at the giraffe feeding station where everyone on the safari has the opportunity to feed lettuce leaves to any interested giraffe (several times if you wish!). It is such a thrill to see their beautiful big eyes, adorned with such thick, long eyelashes. It is awe inspiring to be so close to the animals and to realize just how tall and muscular they are. When it is your turn to feed an animal, it is amazing to see just how long and purple and slimy their tongues are! I would highly recommend this excursion for people of any age!
