You get to bring your own food and drinks. They also have a concession area where you can just your own food and drinks. At the state park, they have a concession booth and a restroom as well. The park is open from 8 AM to 6 PM and I have a recommend staying at the full day. It was so nice and relaxing plus parking was only three dollars. 10/10

We had two encounters with the ranger / maintenance team and both of them were pretty rude. Even if the information is valid they need to work on delivery. A sweetheart from the group arrived at 6 am and was able to secure a nice pavilion on the lakeside, adjacent to the restrooms and across from plenty of parking. The pavilion come with a grill (we didn't use) and a large trash bin nearby. The area had a few trees around and was nicely shaded, this made the combination of good weather result in a really good experience. There is a nice trail for walking, hiking and cycling. Near the parking, there is a play area for children and a fenced dog park area. Overall, I thought I had a good experience and think that it is a fabulous area. I do hope to get back out here at some point in the future.

Lake Hiawatha Preserve Park - Frisbee Golf (Disc Golf Course)…read more Finally, a legit 18-hole disc golf course near Clermont, Florida. It's also a great place to bring your dogs! They have a nice fenced in area to let your dogs mingle and play with other dogs off the leash and there's a trail and some back country you can take them and run with. The good: - Solid mix of wooded technical holes and a few open bombers around the lake. Holes 4-8 along the water are gorgeous, especially at sunset. - Tee pads are concrete and in great shape (huge upgrade from the old rubber mats). - New Mach X baskets catch well and the bright yellow bands make them easy to spot. - Multiple pin positions on several holes keep it fresh -- they move them every few months. - Free parking, clean porta-potty near hole 1, and the course flows really well. Rarely any backups even on weekends. The "eh": - Can get soggy after rain (bring boots in spring). A couple fairways hold water like a sponge. - Hole 13's long position is a total prayer across the marsh -- fun once, frustrating the other 19 times. Highly recommend for intermediate and up. Beginners might get humbled on the back 9, but that's how we all learn! Will keep coming back. 4.5 stars rounded down only because mother nature still wins sometimes.

Kudos to the people working there for providing such a beautiful place!

The playground is wheelchair accessible and they even have a swingset that accommodates a wheelchair. It also includes some climbing frames and slides, a merry-go-round. I spotted a zip line (closed for the season) and a splashpad (also closed for the season). Picnic tables and pavilions, charcoal barbecue grills, restrooms, parking. Designed by The Walt Disney Company in the 1990s, the park serves as Celebration's main recreational hub. Amenities include a swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts, and playgrounds. Many of these facilities require a resident key and are reserved for Celebration residents who pay community fees. Visitors, however, are welcome to enjoy the rocking chairs, picnic tables, umbrellas, and the scenic wooden boardwalk that circles the lake. Keep an eye out for the park's resident alligator, which is occasionally spotted along the shoreline. Just steps away, you'll find downtown Celebration's charming shops and a variety of restaurants. The park also hosts numerous festivals and community events throughout the year, including Independence Day celebrations, Founders Day, the Embrace of Celebration Music Festival, Battle of the Food Trucks, Once Upon a Magic Market, the Celebration Farmers Market, holiday parades, and seasonal runs. It has 2 sections, one for smaller children pre-school/toddler age. The other section is for older children that require less supervision or guidance. There are only two swings and neither are the toddler seat style. It is also fenced in for added security. The ground is mostly sand so wear your old play shoes! You'll probably run into more of the local kids without parents with them so just be aware of that.

The play structure is huge and offers so much to engage with and use imaginative play. There are multiple slides, as well as a few different areas with plenty of swings. We easily spent a few hours and didn't know the time had passed. Lots of space to run, jump, and climb. It is all very sturdy and safe, as well as clean.

We've had multiple birthday parties for our kids here and attended others. The covered Pavillion with bathrooms is excellent. They had plugs for the crock pots full of food we brought. It's maintained daily, something I found out the time I arrived at 7am to sweep and blow leaves away and clean the tables. A lady showed up after I was done to do all that and thanked me instead. Oops! Oh yeah, then there's the huge playground. My kids have loved this place and all the wooden things to run around, through, up, and over for ages!
