I finally got to see JAWLEEN and Savannah together at this…read moreyears Gatorpalooza 2026 JAWLENE is a beloved, rescued american alligator living at GATORLAND ORLANDO who miraculously survived in the wild after losing her entire upper jaw. I got up early today for GATORPALOOZA and made sure to get the little one in my group a spot, since they love coloring. we had fun learning about JAWLENE. it was a fun day hanging out with friends, family and the GATORLAND family. We always look foward to this event every year. we had people in my group that never visited gatorland before and had an amazing time. They were talking about they were excited to come back and visit again. until next time...

Our last day in Orlando and we went to one of MY Favorite Places: Gatorland!…read more We first visited this Gator Sanctuary with our son, Mathew when he was 3 years old and we all loved it. Gatorland was started in 1949 by Owen Goodwin as a 1/2 day Family Attraction. It has since grown and now the Park has over 100+ Gators including a few albino's. Since I last visited the Park in 2018, Gatorland has added a Zipline with 5 lines which zip over Gators. This was an absolute MUST DO! The 2nd favorite thing I LOVE doing, is feeding the parakeets aka budgies You can purchase a bundle of popsicle sticks with peanut butter at one end rolled in bird seed. The Birds will flock to You and start eating. You can actually feel their "tootsies" on your skin and they are very warm. You MUST shuffle you feet to avoid stepping on the little ones who are pecking away at the dropped birdseed on the floor. My 3rd favorite thing is feeding the Gators. You can purchase Turkey hotdogs, break them into pieces and toss them to the Gators! They come swimming up to you to be fed. How COOL! My next favorite is the Gator Show which involves completely harmless Gator: wrestling. Basically the Trainer gently straddles the Gator and tips his chin under his. Be sure to come hungry as they have a cafe which serves, you guessed it: Gator bites/nuggets. They are SO yummy!Okay by now, you have figured it out: I LOVE the entire Park and highly recommend that if you visit Orlando, add Gatorland with Ziplining to your Vacay Adventure, you won't regret it!

If you experience a delay, they will do whatever they can to make it better. (I got stuck on a ride for 15 minutes and was given a free FastPass for my whole group. * The majority of the rides had no wait times, and you could walk right on. If there was a wait, it was usually 5 minutes or less. * The park has indoor play areas. * They provide amazing baby care areas (Located in the indoor play areas), they have high chairs, a kitchen area, changing stations, and a dark area with rocking chairs for breastfeeding or to get a little one to sleep. * Most of the park is shady, which helps out a lot on the hot days. * Food prices are reasonable. They are cheaper than other amusement parks we have been to. Bad: * Have to read the small print! If you get a souvenir cup, it is only for unlimited refills that day. Any additional days cost another $10.99. * The water park has very strict rules. There are height requirements for every slide on the playground, and they will measure your kid every time. Additionally, they have a lot of rules for the wave pool even when the waves aren't going. It's a 10-minute wait. * Lifeguard seems to make up rules, or not all rules are listed. Ugly: * The water park lifeguards are confrontational. The water park has strict rules, and the lifeguard has no problem kicking kids out of the area. I watched lifeguards pull a kid (probably 3 or 4) from a slide by his life vest because they had a one-kid-on-the-slide rule. I get the rule, but it's not serious enough to put their hands on a child. We were only in the park for 4 hours and witnessed 3 arguments between parents and lifeguards, and the lifeguards always seemed to escalate the situation rather than de-escalate it. Overall, it was the worst part of Legoland for us. * The park hours were another huge downfall for us. The Water park closes at 4, and the whole park closes at 5. During summer hours (June/July), the water park closes at 5, and the whole park closes at 6. Overall, the main Legoland park was amazing, and I love how they have rides and activities for all ages. I personally would not pay extra for the waterpark.

I went into LEGOLAND hoping for that classic LEGO magic, bright colors, fun details, and the…read morefeeling that everything around you was built from the bricks we all know and love. Instead, the property felt tired, worn down, and was lowkey very neglected. The maintenance issues were impossible to ignore. Paint was fading everywhere, the iconic LEGO bricks on buildings and sculptures looked washed out, and a lot of the park just didn't look clean. Dust was literally caked onto vents and fans, like they hadn't been touched in ages. It gave the whole place a dull, dingy vibe instead of the playful, colorful atmosphere you'd expect from a LEGO experience... The Ninjago ride breaking down with people stuck on it was another huge red flag. Rides malfunction sometimes, sure, but when the rest of the park already feels poorly maintained, it doesn't exactly inspire confidence. And maybe the biggest disappointment: it just didn't feel like LEGO. Instead of that bold, creative, brick-built world, the park gives off more of a "knockoff LEGO" energy. Like the idea is there, but the devs did not execute it properly. Its giving tourist trap vibes... Just save ur hundred dollars and put it towards going to Disney or Universal... Like bro what do they even do with the money they earn from the park.. BUT THE STAFF ARE VERY SUPER NICE!! Overall, the experience felt underwhelming and outdated. With the price of admission, you'd expect a park that's clean, well-kept, and full of that signature LEGO personality. Unfortunately, this was not IT.
