This was a family day with 16 of us and everyone had a blast. For some of my family members, we received free admission for active and retired military as well as corporate benefits for others so that was nice. The kids loved the shows , the rock climbing and being able to take photos with baby gators and reptiles. This is definitely something fun for all ages so if you are local or on vacation, get on Groupon and get your tickets !

We end our trip with a stop at the giraffe feeding station where everyone on the safari has the opportunity to feed lettuce leaves to any interested giraffe (several times if you wish!). It is such a thrill to see their beautiful big eyes, adorned with such thick, long eyelashes. It is awe inspiring to be so close to the animals and to realize just how tall and muscular they are. When it is your turn to feed an animal, it is amazing to see just how long and purple and slimy their tongues are! I would highly recommend this excursion for people of any age!

It's very family friendly and our tour guide was knowledgeable. As others have said you connect to a radio station and can hear her throughout the tour in the car. You can expect to spend around 2 hours here. Some suggestions that could have made the excursion more enjoyable and efficient would be: -Have everyone sign and fill out forms beforehand -If a car hasn't paid to feed the animals, allow a lane for them to leave so they're not just sitting and waiting on the other cars who did pay to feed the animals -Have more than one exit and entrance (this may not be feasible, but it might help with suggestion 1 Overall we had a great time and I would recommend it. But after going on the tour of 90 minutes I was able to understand all that the sanctuary does for these animals. Most of these animals come from other people who have kept them as pets or who have not kept good care of them, so this is a safe place for them. I was so honored to get to see so many animals being cared for with respect, and get to meet the people who volunteer their time to give comfort to these animals. The best part is that all the proceeds go directly to the animals' care and welfare. It's not like other places where a percentage will go to the employees. We more than made our moneys worth on this one. I would highly recommend checking out an annual pass because I think if you go maybe three times total it's more worth it to get the pass than a day ticket. The major benefit of LEGOLAND is how many indoor places there are where kids can just play with Legos. Seriously a dream that I just sit on a bench while my kids build and they can be there for hours. I have never found LEGOLAND to be that busy. There are some rides that get upwards of a 30 minute wait, but being that my kids aren't dying for any specific ride we just skipped those. The waterpark is definitely worth it as well to add onto the ticket. It's not huge, but during Florida's really hot season which is almost year-round, it's a great perk to head to the waterpark in the middle of the day. The food options here are quite terrible. The only bar is in the water area. Otherwise you can get wine or beer at quick service restaurants. The quick Service that has slightly healthier options. That's in the area where you build cars has opened again, which is great. However, overall expect the food here to be unhealthy and quite bad. The hours are also pretty short from 10 to 6 on most days, but it is enough to get through pretty much the whole park since it isn't that crowded. Parking is also very close to the park. The workers here aren't super friendly, and the rides aren't that efficient to get on, so even if it looks like a short line, it could be really long, but again at this price that's fine. After a year we were taking a year break from these passes, but I could definitely see us visiting every so often.

Instead, the property felt tired, worn down, and was lowkey very neglected. The maintenance issues were impossible to ignore. Paint was fading everywhere, the iconic LEGO bricks on buildings and sculptures looked washed out, and a lot of the park just didn't look clean. Dust was literally caked onto vents and fans, like they hadn't been touched in ages. It gave the whole place a dull, dingy vibe instead of the playful, colorful atmosphere you'd expect from a LEGO experience... The Ninjago ride breaking down with people stuck on it was another huge red flag. Rides malfunction sometimes, sure, but when the rest of the park already feels poorly maintained, it doesn't exactly inspire confidence. And maybe the biggest disappointment: it just didn't feel like LEGO. Instead of that bold, creative, brick-built world, the park gives off more of a "knockoff LEGO" energy. Like the idea is there, but the devs did not execute it properly. Its giving tourist trap vibes... Just save ur hundred dollars and put it towards going to Disney or Universal... Like bro what do they even do with the money they earn from the park.. BUT THE STAFF ARE VERY SUPER NICE!! Overall, the experience felt underwhelming and outdated. First the safari - You drive your own car through this safari and in our experience, you really don't have to worry about damage to your vehicle. There are so many animals, many species that I didn't recognize. When we entered the safari, we were given a booklet that had photos and brief descriptions of all of the animals, and that was a huge help in identifying what we were viewing. I loved that we could go at our own pace and there were plenty of pull-offs for us to use if the vehicles behind us wanted to travel more quickly. The animals trulya re right in front of you - most are wandering freely without cages, fences, or other barriers, and at times we had to stop to let animals cross the road in front of our car! At the end of the safari, there is a place where you can park your car and go up to a platform to feed the giraffes ($5 per person). We did it and it was so much fun to get to see the giraffes so close and have them take food right from our hands. We enjoyed the safari so much that we went through it again after touring the gator park. The gator park was super fun as well, and there are so many animals other than gators, too! We enjoyed the gator feeding. It was fascinating to watch them eat chicken meat off of a hanging line, and the commentary provided by the show's host was very informative. We also enjoyed holding a baby alligator and getting a digital photo. My 17 year old daughter loved the add on of the lemur experience. She, along with about 6 other guests, got to go inside a room next to the lemur exhibit and interact & feed a lemur. She truly loved this experience and it was definitely worth the added cost.
