Just had to say that (employee) Ron F. is a great asset to the Home Depot Prudenville location! He…read moregoes beyond the norm to provide great customer service. You are lucky to have him representing your store.

Before I say anything else: NEVER, EVER deal with a guy named Jamy (yes, that's the correct…read morespelling) in Millwork! He was rude, condescending, hostile, and dismissive - probably because I'm a woman - but whatever. He was aggressive from the start and kept talking (really yelling) over me so much that I finally said, "Can you just listen?" Then he got all butthurt and said "Wow!" and told me to he wouldn't deal with me anymore, like he wasn't the one who being a complete jerk from the start. So, on to the real problem and a note about the people who were actually awesome. I've been trying to get the doors I purchased (and paid for in full) installed for 4 months now. They were supposed to order two custom-sized doors (an exterior door and a screen door) back in April. I waited 6 weeks for the first doors, and they came in so damaged they were not able to install them. I don't think that was Home Depot's fault. No problem so far. They reordered the doors and we scheduled the delivery/install. However, when the installers (who are not from Home Depot and were actually great) arrived they had the custom exterior door but Home Depot gave them a standard-size screen door, even though I bought and paid for a custom door. A standard size - obviously - wouldn't work. Over the next 2 weeks I called to try to figure out what was going on and was always promised a call back, however, no one ever called back. I finally went in person to Home Depot to cancel my order all together and get a refund which is when the interaction with that Jamy guy happened. The woman who DID end up helping me was an angel named Jeanette. However, even she said the order was in such disarray she couldn't tell how much the screen door cost, how much should be refunded, or when the replacement screen door order might actually be in. I had all my paperwork, but they couldn't accurately even really read what had been sent to me. On top of that, Jeanette said there was a balance on my account, which didn't make sense because I was holding the payment receipt. Because she was so nice, I decided to just wait and see what happens with the screen door reorder. I hope I actually get a screen door and am not out $750 +/-. The customer service manager, Chris was also really helpful. Unfortunately I won't be shopping there anymore because of the scary, aggressive dude. The takeaway from this is: If you're in the Houghton Lake Area, just call a local company and - for God's sake - avoid Jamy!
