I applied for another apartment complex but they were taking forever to process the application and they were really dragging with the verification steps. I came to Neuhaus to tour an apartment and immediately fell in love with the property. Amy was a HUGE help. She went above and beyond with due diligence to make sure my application was processed in a timely manner. Thank you so, so much Amy! I really appreciate your help, transparency, and your kindness! It made my move so much easier, taking a load of stress off my shoulders! We all know how stressful moving can be. So having a leasing agent that is responsive and helpful means a lot (give this woman a raise or a bonus, she deserves it). The complex: The apartment is really cute and the one bedroom is actually really spacious, especially for the cost. The amenities are great! I love the 24 hr mini-mart for quick emergencies (if you're too lazy to run to the store, or forgot to grab a household item and the stores are closed lol). The 24 hour gym is nice as well. The apartments are really cute and extremely affordable considering the new build. The property is clean and well maintained. So far during this past week, everyone I have encountered living here are really nice and friendly, and it's really quiet in this complex as well (thank goodness). There's a good mix of people too so a nice diverse community. It's close to the highway, which makes it nice for your commute to work. The road Azle Ave does get a little congested when you get closer to the highway entrance, but mainly during the morning at the start of working hours (but honestly everywhere in Lake Worth is a little congested it seems). Regardless, this complex is worth it and it has been a great place that I can definitely vouch for so far!

I have sent several maintenance requests for pest control and it has been a week with no update. They keep marking my requests and fulfilled when nothing has been done. They told me today they won't be able to get anyone out here until Thursday. While I understand that they don't have control over ants, they do have control over addressing this issue in the form of pest control. The ants are in my sofa, my kitchen, on my dining room table and still there is no urgency. I suggested that I could hire a third party pest control service to come out and they said they would not pay for it. It seems ridiculous that when a resident is in distress over something, that not everything would be done to fix the issue. The community manager was very rude to me when I called. I also learned that I am not the only resident experiencing this issue, which makes the lack of action worse. I cannot sit on my sofa, eat at my dining table, or cook in my kitchen without ants swarming and biting. Being told to deal with it until Thursday is unacceptable, especially for how expensive the place is. The place is beautiful and I had intended on living here for many years, but now I will not be renewing my lease.

My final bill included charges for: Parking fee, Common Area Electricity, Common Area Gas, Drainage Admin, Environmental Protection Fee, Final Drainage Admin, Final Sewer Base Charge, Final Sewer Charge, Final Storm Drainage Fees, Final Water Base Charge, Final Water Charge, Rent, Rent Service Fee, Sewer Base Charge, Sewer Charge, Storm Drainage Fees, Trash, Valet Trash, Water Base Charge, Water Charge, Full Clean Needed, Extra Heavy Clean Charge, Sheetrock Repairs Needed, Trash Out Needed - 1 Bag Total. I've moved out from all my previous apartments across the country and have never charged more than $100 before - Although I have missed something, even if I double-checked, there's no way I left a bag of trash inside. I had a negative living experience here. The external fan could be very noisy, I would advise double check if there are any external fans, especially if you choose the first floor. I have multiple outside my window, and I had to move my bed to living room for weeks, the maintenance is quick to respond, but after two fixes, the noise is still evident. Also please be noticed some units don't have washer and dryer installed, you need to spend additional ~$45 per month to rent one, which they did not mention before signing. I have had pest problem (roaches) since the day we moved in. I've even been told our place if very clean and cleaner then most, yet all I get is broken promises about fumigations. I have record of my concern by email and text for the past 9 months. Our cars have been towed in error. The garbage bins were not picked up for weeks and trash was all over the complex. Our work orders do not get taken care of. Our sink has had issues draining for over a month. So dirty dish water just sits there because the garbage disposal won't get fixed. There are constant water shut offs with little to no notice. Water leaking up from floor boards when it rains which has ruined multiple towels and shoes of ours. We were told management changed and things would be different. I tried to be patient and give them time to rectify the issues but nothing has changed. I truly think there are so many issues that they just can't keep up. I have never been late on rent, and we keep to ourselves but enough is enough. Everyday I am searching for new apartments just counting down for the day our lease is up. The one star is solely for the location and the two maintenance guys who are extremely kind and hardworking. Price is average in comparison to other places in the area so my recommendation would be to just pay a little more for peace of mind.

Living here brought almost nothing but issues, from dealing with roaches and spiders the entire…read moretime we were there, while pest control would just come spray the apartment and then say let us know if it keeps up. Even after months of complaints they never escalated pest control. We also had mold growing in our apartment because of the decline to fix a leak that we had in our ceiling. We put in a ticket for water stains on the ceiling and the response we received was to just wait and see if it happened again, this led to mold growing inside the wall so they came and just cut out the wall and left the hole there until we moved out. The move out process was just as bad. They overcharge for everything and do not take into account and deposits or as they call them fees. I was charged over 200 to fill the holes where my tv was hung. Upon move in we paid a $375 "sure bond" and once we got a dog we also paid another $675 fee and a $25 monthly fee and once we got our final settlement, it showed we had paid $0 in deposits. I tried correcting this with the office and they said that it was correct that neither of these charges were deposits that would cover any of the damages in the apartment. While I was trying to question and clarify this the responses were very rude and dismissive. I had asked why the amounts I paid were not covering any of the damages and the exact response I received was "Let me know if you would like to set up a payment plan". I could not wait to be done with this complex and will make sure I am more picky about my next place of living.
