(The kind with paper crowns, terrible jokes, and silly trinkets ... not edible crackers.) Last year none were to be found in the Estero/Bonita Springs area so this year we made a longer drive to Naples. It was worth it. The World Market at Coconut Point Mall in Estero has been closed for several years so the Naples location was my best option, other than Fort Myers. Even though the stock was a bit picked over, I was able to find an attractive set. A hit with our family on Christmas Day. I also picked up a few small gifts and wrapping supplies. This World Market is smaller than my local one in the San Francisco Bay area. But it was well laid out and staff were helpful. I have counted on World Market for 50 years, going back to when it was known as Cost Plus. Happy to find this one!

While I did find something that worked for the small project I needed to complete, I can see where this Hobby Lobby's offerings wouldn't always work for me. Despite the fact that there were very few people in the store, check out was incredibly slow. Cashiers were friendly, but perhaps a bit too friendly? Chit-chats with the customers about personal events and goings-on after their transaction is complete stalls the line and makes those of us waiting just a little aggravated.

I called the store in North Naples and was told to email Raney. He promptly opened a warranty claim, and it was resolved within a couple of weeks. The store replaced the seat at no charge and even provided a replacement backrest for free in case I have a problem in the future. The customer service was outstanding. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for quality furniture backed by the kind of traditional American customer service that is becoming harder to find!

We ultimately couldn't afford the designer patio furniture sold here and went next door to their Polywood store. After choosing over $10k in polywood items I checked Costco.com. The price was $3k lower and I was trying really hard to understand the difference in the price. The salesman was great, explaining that they provide assembly, delivery, warranty etc. But I wasn't entirely sure that was worth the difference in the price. So together we went next door to chat with the general manager. It's the same general manager for both stores. His vibe was way off. He didn't shake our hand. He didn't speak to us with respect. He made us feel poor (which we are not!!) And ultimately was unwilling to make any concessions on the price. He literally could have thrown us a $200 discount and we would have finished the deal. But we were made to feel so inappropriately low we walked out, logged straight onto Costco.com and saved a ton of money. There was no problem with the delivery or condition of the items. Assembly was simple and took only a few minutes each piece. And there was no missing hardware. Thank goodness for that. Since I apparently can't afford any extra screws. **I usually don't read reviews before leaving my own. Though I stumbled upon several other reviews for this location and their North Naples location from people with the same experiences. Nobody should be made to feel low, stupid, poor or whatever. No question is a dumb question. They literally lost $10k worth of business over how we were treated. So if you're looking for super high end furniture, don't care about the price and don't care how you'll be treated... sure go there. Otherwise I would look for some other place to shop.

Don't be intimidated if you've never worked with a designer before, they don't judge. They realize every client has some hesitation as to what would work best in their space or indecision on color combinations. I purchased 2 rooms of furniture years ago from their Illinois location and was extremely happy with my items. I'm now a Naples customer and have nothing but good things to say with my experience to this point. My new furniture will be here in a few days and I can't wait.
