We listed our house in SE Austin for sale with Will after interviewing other agents. We were looking for someone who worked in our area before and found him through some reviews. Will responded to our questions in a timely manner by email and also he answers his phone. In the end the day before closing the buyers finance company had not forwarded the closing documents to sign and overnight. I called Will and we received the documents via email as we were out of state and completed the closing on time. Will helped our family find a new home in the Austin area after a long-distance move. He gave us great advice while searching for our new home (even though we had some experience with the Austin area and home ownership), and he always tried to find answers to our super-specific questions regarding HOA details, community info, etc. The one thing I appreciated the most was that Will always let us explore the house on our own and provided thoughts/opinions when requested (he wasn't always trying to push us towards a certain home or a quick decision). I just closed on my home this week and I am here writing a review for Will Mackintosh! He has been super great and I honestly can't imagine going through my first home purchase as easily as I did had it not been for Will. Right from the start, he has been honest and upfront, tells you things as they are, no BS. He gives you his opinions but lets you make your own decisions. The "chase" was fun as well because you always have a great conversation about each house! Once I made a decision on a home, he was very smooth with the negotiation process! I am happy with the way it went and the price I paid - I think it was fair :) When it comes to all the requirements for closing on the home, his referrals to the various parties involved (lender, inspector, movers...etc) are extremely helpful.
