Just had my car die on me this morning. I was referred to Willard by my car shop. The person I spoke with on the phone was super helpful. I was told the initial wait time would be around an hour and a half. When I explained I was in the road, they were able to get a truck out to me inside of 10 minutes. Great service. 95 tow fee, $5/mile. Cost me just under 115. Hopefully won't need a tow anytime soon, but if I do, I'll be calling these guys back. read more

This company took advantage of our misfortune and that's sad for a towing service because that's the service they provide. We live in NY and unfortunately our teen son had an accident in Georgia and we had the bad luck of having this towing company pick up the car. We have had a nightmare for the past two weeks trying to g to get the car back. They went out of their way to make it difficult. Would not work with us at all and as a result it took us two weeks to find a transport company who would pay the cash up front to get the car. We think that they saw a misfortunate situation and tried to take advantage. We think they were planning on us not being able to get the car back so they could auction it off. We say that because weirdly the car came home with the windshield was replaced. There was a small crack that happened prior to the accident and they fixed it. Why would they do that? When I went to pay the storage fee for my car they only take cash they don't accept any other form of payments CASH ONLY, and I needed my car towed to the repair shop they REFUSED to speak to my claims adjuster to get information needed to pay the towing fee. I had to pay cash for the storage and the towing. If you ever need a tow and Willard shows up please don't use this service. Jeff in the office is not customer friendly at all. I am only advising of this lousy company and their services so that others will not be in this awful situation. Worst experience EVER!!! After paying $1,500 in tow services I was told I could not walk my vehicle to insure no damage happened during the tow and come to find two employees vandalizing my licenses plate with some black spray paint and damaged a tire with punctured holes. BEWARE!!! I called for a quote. I gave them the pick up address, the drop off location, what type of car it was and whether the car could go in neutral. Answered all the questions asked. I was quoted $85 and told to call back after 7pm for the next available tow. I called at 7pm, and they sent someone right iver. Arrived about 7:30pm. Hooked up my car, I gave him the keys. Pulled off my driveway. Then walked up and asked for $130. I explained I was quoted $85. He called the office and they said that person left already. After hanging up the phone he basically said shift changed was at 7pm and the early shift pretty much put you on us and it was nothing they can do. I called and the man on the phone was rude, offered horrible customer service. Complete rip-off! I will say the driver was kind. BEWARE!! read more

I was on the side of the road waiting for my roadside service to tow us. I called back several times and the call was dispatched multiple times. On the last call with the roadside assistance they hung up on me. I was on the side of the road for 5 hours in 90°+ heat. After being hung up on and stranded I called Willard's who responded within 15 minutes and got my car to the shop. They were a bright spot in a bloody nightmare of an experience. FYI, Nationwide outsources their roadside assistance and use foreign call center agents who are absolutely rude. I'm switching roadside companies. read more

If their drivers operate huge vehicles with no regards to other on the road i can't imagine they care much about others. Car was picked up after a wreck. Willard was dispatched per Gwinnett County officers and I had no choice but to have it towed. This was my first time having my car towed and next time I will request to choose my own tow company. It took quite a bit of time probably because of traffic but most importantly I am highly pissed because they literally take all the wreckage from the scene and dump it into your vehicle. I had pieces of car from the at fault vehicle as well. The damaged pieces were left on my seat and floor board so bad that it made indents in my leather seats. I had to clean it out myself and now I have to pay someone to properly detail it and hopefully my seat can go back. NEVER AGAIN read more

The worst company we've ever worked with. They do not care about their customers. I have personally seen them treat people like garbage just because their car got towed. We use them to remove vehicles that are illegally parked in our neighborhood and many years ago they cared and we could work with people that couldn't get their vehicles but now they have some jerk running the show. If you doubt what I'm saying just give them a call. They don't say hi or how can I help you it's just "WILLARDS" and it's a rude ride from there. Frankly, I was surprised at the bad reviews. 3 years ago my van completely died on 285 between 400 and 85 and I had my elementary and middle school children with me. Traffic was crazy-late afternoon. They towed our van all the way to Mall of GA and gave us a ride. Nicest man, very kind. Today - again with the van - I called another company that popped up on Google. There quote seemed high. Absolute terrible customer service!!!! Their website says they do private impound, but when I called they said they 'get to choose what they tow or not.' The sheriff's department confirmed to them that the vehicle in question was not stolen, and they still didn't want to remove the vehicle. Very rude!! read more

Items were stolen from my vehicle and it was rifled thru. Vehicles are not secured. Spoke to someone in the office was told they would look at the cameras is best they could do. Didn't bother writing down what was taken. Did not release vehicle, someone had us email then informed six days later that is not what they do. You have to manually sign forms. Would have been nice if they told my insurance about this instead of wasting my days and time without a vehicle. Would not recommend. Got stuck with them because the cops had called for their services rather than wait on my insurance tow. RUDEST TOW SERVICE EVER! after my accident, they towed my car to their lot. The next day, I verbally released my car for it to go to CoParts in Loganville. I spoke with a man on the phone and told him I was coming by to clean out my car with my belongings. He DID NOT give me a set time to come there. I got there at about 545, and I walk in the door and politely tell him who I was and where was the location of my car. He never made eye contact with me, he looked at the clock and rudely said "you're about 45 min late." Mind you, I spoke with him hours prior to my arrival. Then he goes in the back and tells me that my car is down by the dumpster. I'm not sure if he was racist or not (he was a white middle aged man) But still, if I was a hot blonde woman with D cup tits he woulda been more nicer smh. Willard Wrecker towed a vehicle of mine and SHOULD HAVE KNOWN (if they are as experienced as they pretend) that my driver's side power window was off the track. Yet, they rolled the window all the way down and the window dropped in the door. They put plastic over entire opening. Dumb arses. They said "no one told us the window was off the track". A 10 year old could have ascertained that within 2 seconds. read more

Guy in the office was really rude. Went in to get something from my car and he was telling me to be quiet when I went inside to ask him a question. Also, directionally challenged. Could smile a bit, maybe get some coffee or something. This the south man, hospitality reigns. Told me to drive down the road to find two American flags on the left... turns out "driving down the road" just meant a couple feet in the front nearby where there were two small plastic American flags planted on the right side of the entrance to the car lot. Had to use Willard Service when my BMW died in our garage. TJ came but realized the 90 degree turn out of our garage onto the steep driveway wasn't possible with his big truck. Jeff came and together they came up with a plan. They were patient, very considerate of our unique landscaping in the middle of the driveway, & worked to get our car out of the garage, down the driveway, & onto the truck. (With very minimal disturbance to the landscaping, which is amazing considering the small space they had to work with). They were awesome. I called them 4 times about a car illegally parked on my driveway, this because Gwinnett County Police directed me to them, I also checked the website about Private Impounds. The first time I called on a Sunday so they asked me to call the next day in the morning, which I did, the second time I called I was told they were short staff, understandable cause it was Labor day, so I waited until today even after speaking with Police for the second time, the 3rd and 4th time I called, they told me there is nothing they could do about it. I still don't understand why because the "Private Impounds" service is advertised as part of their service on their website. Maybe they couldn't help me because I am Hispanic Woman. Very disappointing cause I really had a different impression from the company. And just as FYI, this is not a Civil Issue between the car owner and myself, I don't even know why that was mentioned to the police officer when he called as well, this is a car illegally parked in my driveway, that's it! read more

I wish there was a -one star option! Got stranded on a kayak trip and returned to the lower pool at Buford dam a little after 5 pm. No one had towed my car yet I spoke to the person apparently a volunteer as a Ranger there who informed me that they had already called a wrecker and that I had no option but to pay to have my car not removed they were not hooked up to my car they were not even there yet I had headed down past the gate to get to my car -moments later I was almost run over by this driver of the wrecker and the park ranger trying to beat me to my car! when I got to the car they had not hooked it up yet and refused to move out of the way until I gave them $50 they never hooked my car and they were just a few miles away. The man was extremely rude and said I needed to pay for my "screw up" The park ranger refused his name telling me he is called "Mickey mouse" I have it all on video on my phone. Also didn't observe safety measures and nearly hit my foot with the lift. No warning hat he was activating it and I was standing right under it! He was nice and even though I'm far from being the size of a pencil helped my husband put my paralyzed self in his tow truck w/no question and when we got home offered to take me out of the truck w/out my husbands help because he heard of his back issues. The guy was super nice and made our bad day better by being friendly, courteous, helpful, and he didn't smoke but vaped so his truck wasn't stinky like a tow truck I had been in before. read more
