I was on the side of the road waiting for my roadside service to tow us. I called back several times and the call was dispatched multiple times. On the last call with the roadside assistance they hung up on me. I was on the side of the road for 5 hours in 90°+ heat. After being hung up on and stranded I called Willard's who responded within 15 minutes and got my car to the shop. They were a bright spot in a bloody nightmare of an experience. FYI, Nationwide outsources their roadside assistance and use foreign call center agents who are absolutely rude. I'm switching roadside companies. read more

When I went to pay the storage fee for my car they only take cash they don't accept any other form of payments CASH ONLY, and I needed my car towed to the repair shop they REFUSED to speak to my claims adjuster to get information needed to pay the towing fee. I had to pay cash for the storage and the towing. If you ever need a tow and Willard shows up please don't use this service. Jeff in the office is not customer friendly at all. I am only advising of this lousy company and their services so that others will not be in this awful situation. After paying $1,500 in tow services I was told I could not walk my vehicle to insure no damage happened during the tow and come to find two employees vandalizing my licenses plate with some black spray paint and damaged a tire with punctured holes. I don't know anything about their actual service but considering their huge tow truck almost ripped my front end off on the highway I would assume it's not great. If their drivers operate huge vehicles with no regards to other on the road i can't imagine they care much about others. BEWARE!!! I called for a quote. I gave them the pick up address, the drop off location, what type of car it was and whether the car could go in neutral. Answered all the questions asked. I was quoted $85 and told to call back after 7pm for the next available tow. I called at 7pm, and they sent someone right iver. Arrived about 7:30pm. Hooked up my car, I gave him the keys. Pulled off my driveway. Then walked up and asked for $130. I explained I was quoted $85. He called the office and they said that person left already. After hanging up the phone he basically said shift changed was at 7pm and the early shift pretty much put you on us and it was nothing they can do. Car was picked up after a wreck. Willard was dispatched per Gwinnett County officers and I had no choice but to have it towed. This was my first time having my car towed and next time I will request to choose my own tow company. It took quite a bit of time probably because of traffic but most importantly I am highly pissed because they literally take all the wreckage from the scene and dump it into your vehicle. I had pieces of car from the at fault vehicle as well. The damaged pieces were left on my seat and floor board so bad that it made indents in my leather seats. I had to clean it out myself and now I have to pay someone to properly detail it and hopefully my seat can go back. NEVER AGAIN read more

The worst company we've ever worked with. They do not care about their customers. I have personally seen them treat people like garbage just because their car got towed. We use them to remove vehicles that are illegally parked in our neighborhood and many years ago they cared and we could work with people that couldn't get their vehicles but now they have some jerk running the show. Frankly, I was surprised at the bad reviews. 3 years ago my van completely died on 285 between 400 and 85 and I had my elementary and middle school children with me. Traffic was crazy-late afternoon. Items were stolen from my vehicle and it was rifled thru. Vehicles are not secured. Spoke to someone in the office was told they would look at the cameras is best they could do. Didn't bother writing down what was taken. Did not release vehicle, someone had us email then informed six days later that is not what they do. You have to manually sign forms. Would have been nice if they told my insurance about this instead of wasting my days and time without a vehicle. Would not recommend. RUDEST TOW SERVICE EVER! after my accident, they towed my car to their lot. The next day, I verbally released my car for it to go to CoParts in Loganville. I spoke with a man on the phone and told him I was coming by to clean out my car with my belongings. He DID NOT give me a set time to come there. I got there at about 545, and I walk in the door and politely tell him who I was and where was the location of my car. He never made eye contact with me, he looked at the clock and rudely said "you're about 45 min late." Mind you, I spoke with him hours prior to my arrival. Then he goes in the back and tells me that my car is down by the dumpster. I'm not sure if he was racist or not (he was a white middle aged man) But still, if I was a hot blonde woman with D cup tits he woulda been more nicer smh. Willard Wrecker towed a vehicle of mine and SHOULD HAVE KNOWN (if they are as experienced as they pretend) that my driver's side power window was off the track. Yet, they rolled the window all the way down and the window dropped in the door. They put plastic over entire opening. Dumb arses. They said "no one told us the window was off the track". Guy in the office was really rude. Went in to get something from my car and he was telling me to be quiet when I went inside to ask him a question. Also, directionally challenged. Could smile a bit, maybe get some coffee or something. This the south man, hospitality reigns. Told me to drive down the road to find two American flags on the left... turns out "driving down the road" just meant a couple feet in the front nearby where there were two small plastic American flags planted on the right side of the entrance to the car lot. I called them 4 times about a car illegally parked on my driveway, this because Gwinnett County Police directed me to them, I also checked the website about Private Impounds. The first time I called on a Sunday so they asked me to call the next day in the morning, which I did, the second time I called I was told they were short staff, understandable cause it was Labor day, so I waited until today even after speaking with Police for the second time, the 3rd and 4th time I called, they told me there is nothing they could do about it. I still don't understand why because the "Private Impounds" service is advertised as part of their service on their website. Maybe they couldn't help me because I am Hispanic Woman. Very disappointing cause I really had a different impression from the company. And just as FYI, this is not a Civil Issue between the car owner and myself, I don't even know why that was mentioned to the police officer when he called as well, this is a car illegally parked in my driveway, that's it! read more

Had to use Willard Service when my BMW died in our garage. TJ came but realized the 90 degree turn out of our garage onto the steep driveway wasn't possible with his big truck. Jeff came and together they came up with a plan. They were patient, very considerate of our unique landscaping in the middle of the driveway, & worked to get our car out of the garage, down the driveway, & onto the truck. (With very minimal disturbance to the landscaping, which is amazing considering the small space they had to work with). They were awesome. I wish there was a -one star option! Got stranded on a kayak trip and returned to the lower pool at Buford dam a little after 5 pm. No one had towed my car yet I spoke to the person apparently a volunteer as a Ranger there who informed me that they had already called a wrecker and that I had no option but to pay to have my car not removed they were not hooked up to my car they were not even there yet I had headed down past the gate to get to my car -moments later I was almost run over by this driver of the wrecker and the park ranger trying to beat me to my car! when I got to the car they had not hooked it up yet and refused to move out of the way until I gave them $50 they never hooked my car and they were just a few miles away. The man was extremely rude and said I needed to pay for my "screw up" The park ranger refused his name telling me he is called "Mickey mouse" I have it all on video on my phone. Also didn't observe safety measures and nearly hit my foot with the lift. No warning hat he was activating it and I was standing right under it! He was nice and even though I'm far from being the size of a pencil helped my husband put my paralyzed self in his tow truck w/no question and when we got home offered to take me out of the truck w/out my husbands help because he heard of his back issues. Right before Christmas, I was about to leave town. My dog was in the truck, and locked the door with his paw, the windows were rolled up and my keys and dog, were in truck. I didn't have a spare key. The more I tried to get my dog to unlock the door, the more he kept locking it. I called the company we get free service with and they said they would have someone there in 20 minutes. (yeah, right). Long story short, I waited over 2 1/2 hours. During this time, I called numerous lock smith companies supposedly all located in Buford. They all say they are located where you need them to be. They are all going to be there in 20 minutes. They were all full of excuses as to why they were running late. By this time, my dog was panicking. I was panicking. I finally called Willard Wrecker Service. I didn't think of them, and was really happy to hear they could come out and open the truck, and would be there in LESS than 20 minutes. lol. I was in an accident on I 85. Lucky to be alive. A semi truck hit another car into me and I spun across 5 lanes and ended up on the shoulder of the road. I was in shock when the police and wrecker came. A brain dead ogre started loading my car on before I could get my belongings and when I asked him to stop he said I had plenty of time and he needs to clear the wreck. Even though I was on the shoulder with ambulances and police cars all around, I guess he thought my vehicle was holding up traffic?! He started to get aggressive when I told him to be more professional. Then he tried to get in my face before the cops intervened and said to take my time and let me get my things. I cleaned out a few items I needed but I had to go back to get my tags hoping that this guy wouldn't be there. When I got there there was no service. One guy was on his phone and watching tv another on the company phone told me to wait. My car was sandwiched in the back and I couldn't get to my plate. When I asked an employee to move it the brain dead ogre was back and just sitting on the porch. The guy said we'll get it in a minute and when I said I have to buy a new car today and turn in the rental to mitigate damages, they just sort of looked at me. I had dinner plans with my girlfriend and paperwork to email the lawyer and I was stressed for time. I said I have things to do guys can you please pull my car out now? Then the real fun started. It was mainly the big dummy threatening me and telling me to go across the street, raising his fist up trying to fight me. F you, f this, f that. Real classy guy. This guy was in his late 50s and I began to realize nothing in his life had gone well for him so I backed off. I didn't want to embarrass the old man in front of his co workers. And I also didn't want to be jumped by 4 guys in a wrecker yard - it would have turned into a he said she said story. I'm a little afraid now he'll come after me and try to shoot me because he probably has nothing to lose- but people need to know that his behavior was unacceptable and inappropriate.
