I ordered a motorcycle tow from my home to the dealership. The driver arrived late, and it's been five days and I still can't get an invoice for the payment. Stranded on a very active road on a curve. Called the extended warranty line and kept getting 2hr wait times. Abandoned that and called Bush & Bush Towing. Cody was on the scene with the jerk truck in 12 minutes and a very dangerous situation was resolved. Cody is the best in the biz as shown by his ability to get my car in tow so fast after arrival. I had a blow out on i85 so I called AAA and was quoted 2.5 hour wait time for service so I decided to call Bush&Bush to see if it would be shorter. The owner assured me he could have a driver to me within 45 minutes, when I asked was her sure because I needed to order a lift to follow the tow truck to the tire shop to have the tire replaced as we weren't allowed to ride with the tow driver he assured me again that he could have one to me in under 45 minutes. 45 minutes pass and my Lyft driver has arrived but the tow truck still hasn't arrived. My driver was kind enough to wait for 20 minutes for the tow driver but eventually had to leave. When I called back to cancel the tow because the driver was now 30 minutes late I've lost my Lyft and the AAA tow truck was 5 minutes away he told me "this is why you people receive bad service" "because you fucking hire two trucks at the same time then you people don't want to pay" obviously referring to me being black. Mr Bush showed up at the scheduled time, had great equipment, knew exactly how to get car out of garage (had not been moved in 28 years), took great care in loading and unloading, and strategically placed in new storage facility as requested. I will keep it short and to the point. DO NOT USE THEM, keep looking. As a car guy I have used a lot of towing services over the years. Bush & Bush is the worst I have ever experienced. Their fee was 300% over what other services have charged me for similar services. The communication was also very poor. Was recommended his towing service by the garage I was sending my son's car to for repair. Called Homer and he quoted $100.00 for the tow. After arriving and loading the vehicle, he said it would be $150.00. His explanation was the vehicle wouldn't go into neutral and the extra $50.00 was to cover the cost of the $2.97 bottle of Dawn Dishwashing liquid to let the vehicle slide down the flat bed when he arrived at the garage. I then told him I have been around most of Gwinnett County's wrecker services (Lance, Willard, Statewide,etc) and they never upcharged anyone for doing their job.
