Been coming here for several years now, and honestly -- it's time I gave them their flowers. One of the biggest things that sets Willard's Dry Cleaners apart is that they offer on-site dry cleaning, which is rare these days. Most places send items off-site, but here, turnaround is typically about 4 or 5 days based on all my experiences. I've trusted them with a range of delicate garments, including Filipino barongs and Filipiniana pieces made from pineapple fiber, banana silk, and abaca -- and they've handled every item with care. No damage, no issues, just clean, crisp results. Our business attire always comes back fresh, well-pressed, and looking sharp. I live about 20 miles away, and yes -- I still make the drive. The cleaners closer to me just don't match the quality and consistency I get here. Call me crazy, but I'll own it -- it's worth it. The staff is always welcoming, and I especially appreciate their drive-up service, which is a thoughtful touch for those who may need it. That's what I call real customer care. Willard's is the best of the best! They offer different services from dry cleaning, laundry, stain removal etc. They have pretty good prices, especially compared to other places, and they always do an amazing job! I took a very delicate item there that had a pretty bad mold stain. After being turned down my over 10 places, I stumbled upon Willard's on Yelp and they took on the job. They made no promises, which I was very thankful for and was expecting the worse. But guess what, they removed the stain with no tears or anything in the material. I was impressed. It's not often that I have to go to a dry cleaner because we both work from home but we were going to a wedding on the East Coast and needed a place that could dry clean our new suits quickly. After searching on Google and Yelp, I found this place had great reviews across the board. I called them up and they were really friendly which was nice. I was able to drop the suits off and get them back in great condition the next day. I was worried that a service like this would be at an astronomical cost but I was able to do this for less than $20 per suit! I have been a customer at this dry cleaners for the past one year. Today I received horrible customer service by one of the workers, a young girl named Lane. I arrived to the dry cleaners within five minutes of closing to pick up a comforter and when I entered the facility she rolled her eyes and was upset that I had just came in even though the dry cleaners was still open. I arrived to the dry cleaners at 2:55. I did not I feel comfortable dropping off another comforter that I had planned to drop off. I asked her directly why she had such a bad attitude when I entered, and she responded that she was about to leave and that she was not expecting another customer to come in. I Felt extremely uncomfortable and told her this is not good customer service. I will never return here again. read more

Your average dry cleaners - they've been in Vacaville as long as I've been alive, and my mom has been taking our family's clothes here for years. I don't believe they've ever ruined any clothes - a plus. I've taken a few items of my own here through the years - down comforters, wool pants, cashmere sweaters...most recently, I took in a big load of stuff. 13 items to be exact - a mix of pants, sweaters, scarves, a peacoat...and one pair of my pants were pretty badly stained with blood. They turned everything around in 4 days, not bad. Got the blood stain out completely - excellent. Although some of my other pants still had sitting creases in them and had tiny balls of material clinging around the butt and thigh area. The downside - it seemed expensive! I guess I should have expected it with 13 separate items - but my total bill was $85, which seems a little steep to me. Not that folks in Vacaville have many other options when it comes to dry cleaning... I think if I'm in a pinch, I'll bring my clothes here again. Otherwise, next time I'll do my best to seek out a green dry cleaning location. If I'm going to pay a premium, I'd at least prefer NOT to be doing a disservice to the environment! read more

I would give no stars if I could! DO NOT BRING YOUR WEDDING DRESS HERE!! I brought my dress here to be pressed before my wedding. Luckily it still need to be bustle so I took it to my alterations lady a few days before my wedding. We notice they had broken almost all of the stitching on the train of my dress which totally left the train in shambles. She spent 2 and 1/2 hours trying to put it back together and fix it. Luckily she was able too. Now when I called to tell them what they had done. The manager was arguing with me telling me that they wouldn't of done anything like that and they do wedding dresses all the time and this has never happened blah blah blah. Well this time it did and they ruined my wedding dress. He continued to argue with me saying it was something that was basically my fault or a hand stich that my alterations lady. Which is not the case because I bought the dress this way there was No Alterations done to the train of the dress. Long story short he told me to come in and he will see what he can do but he doesn't think he can give me my money back. I refuse to go in there 2 days before my wedding with my wedding dress so he can just argue with me some more, and ultimately not give me my money back. I don't need the extra stress. And he was rude. I will NEVER bring anything to this place again. read more

I finally decided to get my wedding dress cleaned, boxed, and preserved. I had an outdoor wedding with a cathedral train, so as you can imagine it was pretty dirty! They did a beautiful job cleaning it, had me come inspect it prior to boxing it, and kept me in the loop on the status of the job. Talk about honesty - we just relocated and started using there service -picked up my sport coats and during the transaction I "unknowningly" dropped money on the floor - short while later upon arriving home received a phone call from Madison and Whitney (they work as a team) that they found a $20 bill and thought it was probably mine - it was true since I counted how many I should have - they both exhibited "old fashion" truthful service with a smile - as a bonus the sport coats were as clean as when they were new ! read more

We needed last minute service because the shop where we normally get our dry cleaning near the base returned a jacket to us with wrinkles in the back and wouldn't re-press the jacket same day. I've never had anything but first-rate service from Willard's. I have a dry cleaning establishment within a five-minute drive of my home, but I drive a little further to take my cleaning here. They are the best. They took on a dry cleaning job that my close-by cleaners wouldn't touch, and the results were excellent. Nice people at the counter, too. I highly recommend them. read more

After patronizing this business since 1977 (!) my wife was informed yesterday that we no longer had an account with them. Damon had decided our business no longer justified it. That's fine; our volume of dry cleaning and laundry dropped a lot after I retired. But really, Damon, couldn't you have picked up the phone to let me know. I would have understood. Surely as customers of 38 years we rated at least a telephone call. I can understand why this business now has the poorest Yelp rating of any local cleaners. The previous owner, Will, was a respected businessman. He respected his customers, too. Local residents can find other cleaners that care. read more

After seeing the moderate to negative reviews I wanted to give these folks a little "bump". In December I got a job that I was willing to take a little more pride in so I was "sampling" dry cleaners in Vacaville. This was the 3rd one I tried and talk about an amazing location on Merchant complete with a "drive thru" parking lot kind of thing. The shirt was cleaned very well and ready when I asked for it. The only reason I haven't made them my permanent dry cleaner is that their prices are comparable to all the other dry cleaners, as well as quality of service, in the area, and I have another dry cleaner literally around the corner from me. As I mentioned in another review i know I'm not law enforcement but I do security at a well known location here in Vacaville so even a little discount would have made me a dedicated customer. read more

Not too often you come across a place of business that is just happy to help. I was trying on dresses for my college graduation and got makeup all over the front of it. It was a white dress and was the only one left in my size, so I bought it anyways. I called Willard cleaners and they said bring it by, they can take a look at it for me, and see if they could have it ready for me today. The nice lady at the front took it to the back to have Mr Willard look at it. Within 5 minutes he brought it back up to me and said it was ready to go. I went to pay the lady and they said "no charge, congrats and have a great day, we are just happy to help!" I am so great full since I am just graduating and I am still as broke as a student and had already spent $50 on the dress. The dress looks brand new again. Have utilized this place a few times and have been happy the service and turn around. There would have been 5 stars, but the last shirt I sent to get cleaned here came back with a stain that wasn't on it before. Other than that I have no issues or damage with clothing dropped off for cleaning. Would recommend trying them out before going anywhere else. read more

I started using them because of a recommdation of a friend/neighbor who uses them hoping for convenienance and cheaper prices then GV cleaners. Big mistake, you get what you pay for! First time no problem, 2nd time they forgot to return a shirt of mine which I didnt notice for 2 weeks until it turned up in that weeks delivery (strike one) For alterations and repairs you are supposed to write a note and pin to item. I sent a pair of 501 Levi's to have the waist taken in and specifically wrote they were already laundered. They were returned dry cleaned with no alteration and I was charged for cleaning. I called to explain mistake and they said they would take care of it and apologized (strike two) The jeans went back again with another note expressly telling them not to clean them and to take the waist in 1 inch. This was on a Thursday, by Tuesday we still did not get them, I called and was told they had just missed the delivery for that day and would be there Thursday. My son wanted them and we were already heading to VV so we picked them up. The job was so sloppily done but quite frankly I did not want to deal with them again we accepted them. Today the belt loop they sewed back on just came off, after 2 washes. Strike 3! Will never use them again and will never recommend to anyone. read more

Way too expensive and the customer service is terrible. I was asked three times--three times--how to spell my first name, my last name, and the street I live on. The teenage girl wasn't paying any attention to me, and I have a common name that first-graders can spell and an easily spelled street that anyone can spell. I talked very slowly, enunciating every word. What gives? Spaced out teenage girls spending too much time on the cell phone instead of listening to customers? Short attention span? There used to be a mature woman who worked there who did wonderful customer service. She was amazing. Will I go there again? No. Will I recommend it to anyone? No. It's bad enough that the prices are exorbitant but when the customer service is terrible, that's it. No more. read more

I have been going to Willard's for over ten years now and have been treated like family. The help at the counter has always been helpful and nice. As I pull in the drive-thru they see me and usually have my clothes waiting for me as I come in. My shirts and uniforms get very dirty due to my job and they seem to get all the sweat and stains out. I won't trust my clothes to anybody else. Very satisfied customer!!! read more
