This was the absolute best furniture shopping experience I've ever had!!!! Ms Jesi meet us at the door asked what we were looking for, showed to the recliners & backed off, she didn't hoover and try to push something on us, she just let us look & answered questions as needed. Then as we were lookin the Rep for Lazy Boy showed us a fabric demo about spill's & described the power recliners. Jesi even learned new things!!!! We walked in planning on two regular recliners, we walked out with a powered one for my Hubby and a regular called the Maverick for me!!! Delivery fees were great & delivery speed was amazing. We bought on a Friday & got the on Monday!!!! They didn't even try to force us to order them in the same material so that they matched!!! So much better than my experience with another furniture store that is now in Hudson Oaks off of I-20!!! We will be back!!!! read more

Not a reputable store. Avoid them if possible. Flexsteel website showed they had the exact recliner I wanted in stock. Got to store. No, not in stock. Had to order, so I did. The next day I realized on the receipt was the wrong item number. Read some reviews and they stated that they had made mistakes on orders before and people were stuck with. Called and advised I wanted to cancel the order. Would not refund unless I came into the store. 2 hour round trip. No thank you. Emailing Flexsteel, disputing with cc company and leaving reviews. I'm giving Willhite one star because there is no rating lower than that. It took 11 months to get my recliner. It has taken 14 months now and still do not have the rest of my order. Worst of all of the 11 pieces I bought and paid for 8 of them arrived broken or destroyed all together and had to be replaced. Still waiting. When I call the sales girl or worse yet the store manager I'm threatened with canceling my order. After waiting all this time on furniture I have paid for the last thing I want is to have to reorder it somewhere else. I have never received any updates on my orders without call them. No one has ever called me to update me. Poor service is a understatement. The people who own this store clearly don't know what happened to their business. Worst customer service. We purchased an entertainment center for our TV. When it arrived, my husband went to pick it up to avoid the $75 delivery charge. 30 min drive each way. After my husband picked it up and brought home, it was discovered they had forgotten to give us a piece of the furniture. They wanted to charge us $75 to deliver. It was their mistake! So my husband drove out to get the missing piece. When he got home and took it out of the box, it was damaged. We called and they said they would order another piece. When it came in, they refused to deliver without a $75 charge. After many conversations, my husband had to drive out again, trip #3 to pick it up. They refused to give him the furniture without him delivering the damaged piece. They never told him we had to bring it back. So another trip back to get the damaged piece and then go pick up the furniture. trip #4. total of 4 hrs! we just moved here from PA and was really surprised of this treatment. we thought we were doing business with a reputable company that wanted customers that they cared about for future business. That is not the case with this company. we have lots of empty rooms to furnish but will not be purchasing here. read more

I have always gone to large furniture stores such as Rooms-2-Go, until I moved to Weatherford and found Willhite Furniture. The staff is always very friendly and helpful and tries to help me find the right look for me and my home. The delivery staff has always taken great care when delivering my purchases and is also very friendly. Willhite has a lot of sales which always grabs my attention. I love shopping at this store, no more shopping at those cookie cutter stores, I love the hometown feel so much more. my wife and i went to Willhite to purchase a new sofa. we picked out a nice brown one and was told they had a grey one in the warehouse we specifically wanted the brown one. we paid for it but was told it would take a week to deliver, thought that was odd but agreed. the guys carried the sofa into the house and it was grey. we told them it was the wrong color and was told we would have to call the store and the abruptly left. we called the store and was told that was the one we purchased and that it looked brown because the lighting in the store is different than our house. we were told they would send the truck back with a check for refund minus the delivery fee 100.00 each way. they never showed up and lied to us several time. very deceitful business. read more

Terrible communication, they won't call you or give you updates on your furniture. I had to call four times and was told my furniture was there, then when I went to pick it up they sold my piece to someone else and told me they never had it and it just shipped. I was told it was my fault because I was calling and not waiting for them to call causing confusion. Not sure what was confusing, as I paid in full for the piece and was on my way to pick it up because I was told it was in store. I definitely wouldn't recommend buying from this place unless the furniture is in stock and ready to go. read more

I purchased a new sofa Tuesday with a delivery date of Thursday. They said was the driver will call. Driver calls at 11 and says they should be here by 1. One comes and goes, I call the driver and they said they got behind and should be here by 3, it is now 5:09 and they are JUST getting back to the store and loading it!!! I needed four bar stools, but I wasn't sure what kind. I went into Willhite, looked at what they had on the floor to no avail, then I looked through a catalog. I found what I wanted in an Ashley Furniture catalog. I should have walked out at that point and ordered from the Ashley website, but they had two in stock, and I wanted them that day. The sales associate had a kid put the two in stock together, then bring them out to me. The kid that came out had an attitude problem, and he wasn't afraid to let everyone know that he wasn't happy about the associate's request. She even looked at me and said "Wow!" With two on order and two assembled and in my truck, I left. After I put the stools in place, I discovered that none of the screws had been put in when the stools were assembled. They were just pieced together. My husband had to take them apart, find some screws, and put them together correctly. After two weeks of not hearing from Willhite about the remaining part of my order, I called. Nobody knew when they would be there, just whenever they get a truck from Ashley. I waited a few more days and called again. My order had come in, but nobody contacted me. On the phone, I asked about price matching. Of course they do price matching, and of course they can match Ashley's website. The associate put me on hold, then came back and said that unfortunately, they can't do it because I'd already paid for them. I paid a $130 markup on four bar stools because "they're put together at Willhite, and if I'd ordered from Ashley, they'd have come in a box." I was offered a $40 in-store credit, which I declined. I picked up the remainder of my order today IN A BOX so that we don't have to take them apart at home and reassemble them, and wouldn't recommend Willhite to anyone. Buy online. You'll find better customer service there without the markup. read more

We bought a new mattress set less than one month ago and spent over $1,000.00...it is too soft for us so we called to exchange (which we were told when we began our search there that we could do) but was told that since the mattress we bought was a "closeout mattress" we could not exchange. This was not expressed to us at the time of purchase nor does the receipt say "closeout". We have a large home to furnish and saw several other pieces while we were there that we liked but without customer service you no longer have my business. read more

I went into this store for the first time and loved all the beautiful furniture that they had. I needed a new mattress and box springs and the sales girl Kasie was very helpful. I ordered my bed and it was due to be delivered the next weekend. Well the next weekend came around and I called to find out the time of delivery and she said it didn't come in and is due to be there on that Monday, two days later. I agreed. Monday rolls around and I call her again to find out about the delivery and surprise!! The bed did not come in again. NOw it's not going to be in until The 15th. So once again we agree for that date and they even refunded some of the price due to the happenings. Well the 15th was yesterday and again the bed did not arrive. Now I'm told it's going to be the 25th. No sorry that is Not acceptable! She issued my refund without question. I was very disappointed with the way that this was handled. We were told that the sofa set we bought was leather. We did not get the protection plan, because it was too expensive. After only TWO years, the couch started cracking and peeling. (At that time, we learned that we had been lied to and that the set was only BONDED leather!) When we called, we were told there was nothing that they could do, since we had not purchased the protection plan. We are upset that we were lied to when we bought the set and that Willhite will not stand behind its product. Also, the set they sold us was Ashley Furniture, which we did not know at the time. We have to now put up with "leather" peeling on us everytime we sit; we cannot now afford a new set due to the downturn in the economy. Be VERY careful!!! read more
