On the day of the move they were on time, very careful of our belongings, quick and efficient and worked with us to place furniture in our new place. The cost was quite a bit lower than the bid. William Huff Movers were hired in late May, 2024 by my elderly (yet very wise) mother. She and her elderly partner were moving from Portsmouth to Exeter. She selected Huff Movers based on a comment from one of her friends. Right from my getting involved I was impressed. Pre-move coordination with Huff was great. Very clear communication. And the day of the move I was really impressed. Casey, Hunter and Sean were not only efficient and knowledgeable, they took extreme care of my mother's things no matter how old or in what condition. Each was a treasure (and to my mother, at 91, they certainly were). And they treated the apartment with great care. These guys were polite, careful and communicated very well. My sister was on the receiving end in Exeter and had the same high opinion as I did. Everything about the move worked out as good or better than expected. The estimated numbers were right on target with no extra fees. Everything was transparent. I really appreciated their assistance. If we could give 10 Stars we would! Everyone knows that moving can be very stressful! We began researching Moving Companies and their reviews several weeks before our move! We read several Yelp reviews on local and National Van Lines Type companies. We interviewed and got estimates from a Boston Mover as well as from an Agent for Allied Van Lines, two companies that we had it narrowed down to, both very nice and professional and we were ready to pull the trigger with one of them until a day later when we received the current issue of 'Homes and Land' and came across an ad from 'William C. Huff Moving and Storage' a local moving company. I called and made an appointment and was told that Matt the owner will stop by to give us an estimate. Matt came a couple of days later and we knew, after talking to him and getting all of our questions answered, that he would be our mover of choice. :) Moving day!...Paul and his crew of two showed up on time and strategically and meticulously began packing, wrapping and loading the first of two trucks, they came the next day and repeated the process until everything from our 4 bedroom home was securely packed for the long journey from NH to Florida! Paul, without giving him a BIG HEAD, was amazing in his ability to organize and stack the boxes, that we had spent the last month packing, systematically into the 2 trucks, we're still in awe over it loading skills! Paul said that he and Zack would be at our house in Fl on the day he promised with a crew of 3 more young gentlemen to unload our belongings at 8 am sharp the following Monday. They arrived as promised and had both trucks unloaded by noon, set all the bedrooms up and very carefully placed all the furniture in the designated areas! Every Item arrived undamaged! :) Matt, of William C Huff, Paul, Zack and all the young men that were part of this move as well as the Florida crew, Nick, Austin and Isaac are to be commended on their professionalism and hard work, especially during 95 degree heat on the unloading day. :( We highly recommend this company for your next move. These guys were fantastic. Our move was from the Lakes Region of New Hampshire to Weymouth, MA. The move went smoothly and without incident. Three very nice young men arrived at our home on time and went to work. They were respectful and gladly did whatever we asked of them. They completed the loading and headed to our new home which was about 3 hours away. They actually beat us to our new home where they proceeded to unload the truck. Again always very helpful and put all the items were we asked them to put them. A few things we asked to move to a different spot and they did that with a smile. My wife and I were exhausted with the move, but the three men made it so much easier. I can't speak highly enough about Huff's team. read more

They knew exactly what they were doing in packing my whole house up to bringing it back a 1 1/2 years later. Everything was in wonderful condition and there was no odors or any smell at all. We used Huff Moving to move from New Hampshire to South Carolina. We also had to store all our furniture for 4 months with them. From getting a quote by Matt to scheduling our delivery with Donna this was a great experience. The guys, Hunter, Andrew, Elyjah, Rich and Ryan were very professional and treated our possessions like they were their own. What really makes a difference is someone answering the phone when you call, keeping you updated and delivering whats promised. The quote was the price, no add on's or hidden fees. The Huff team moved me out, stored my items for 4 mos., and then moved me into my new place. Callie was great to work with in the office. She and the warehouse manager were able to make things happen on the dates I needed when timing was tight. The "move out" team was terrific. Items stored were in pretty good shape. Even though stored in AC, I noted some evidence of possible humidity on some boxes but understand it in FL. Luckily nothing was damaged. The "move in" team was a bit less careful with things when unwrapping the blankets in the truck and moving things in without protection. Only one item had a small amount of damage (I did not make a claim). Overall, however, I recommend this company. The crews were polite and hard-working. They also respected the masking that I requested inside my homes. (My condo building required it.) I appreciated that in the heat and high humidity. Thank you to all! read more
