The movers made contact when they were en route to my location, and showed up on time. All three of the movers introduced themselves, and post my tour of what they needed to move, they went to work. Our move was sizeable 3bd apt in a house to a 2bd smaller townhouse. They disassembled, reassembled, and arranged furniture in the most effective configuration. They were real people who truly cared about the job they did. They also understood how stressful moving is. My move took 6 hours and they were moving the entire time. A job that should have taken maybe 6 hours took more than 9, it seemed as if they were trying to stretch the time. When we were ready to unload they spent a lot of time waiting to be told what to move. We even helped move the entire time and it still took forever. It took longer to unload than it did to load, probably because they wanted to be paid more. I would not hire this company ever again. We were overcharged and put in an uncomfortable situation.

His price was MORE than fair, especially considering the amount of bureaus, large mirrors, boxes, and plenty of random things that meant countless trips up and down the stairs. He had straps to secure my things for the move, moving blankets for mirrors, and even a heavy duty mattress cover that I was able to purchase from him to keep my mattress protected in storage. A solid two hour drive south, I followed behind him and all of my possessions, as he took care around corners and at stops like he was carrying his own belongings. We showed up to my storage unit after hours and that's when I learned the code they'd given me wasnt working. Unable to contact anyone in the office, this guy must have some tricks up his sleeve because it wasnt long before he managed to get us in the gate. The truck was unloaded, stacked neatly, and locked up in my unit within the hour. To top off the adventure, I left my truck lights on for more visibility during the unload and my battery died. An hour and a 1/2 before they were supposed to arrive, I received a text stating that their truck would not start and that they could not do the move that day but offered to come on Monday. I was frantic because we did not have flexibility in our move and it had to be done that weekend. It took me 3 calls to actually speak with someone. I emphasized to Grayson, one of the owners, our lack of flexibility and begged him to consider renting a truck. He said he would look into this, however, over the next two hours I heard nothing from him, despite trying to call him numerous times. I finally received another text stating that he would not be able to come that day but was trying to call another company for us. We never heard from him again! After hours of panic and 100s of calls, we eventually found another company willing to do the move last minute for an exorbitant price. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional and unreliable moving company before. I understand that things happen but a professional company would attempt to rectify it and also would actually call you and answer your calls. Moving is stressful enough, you do NOT need a moving company that just doesn't show up!
