I prefer to hire people who are paying attention to their own accounts as he did. Joe is charming and reassuring. Over the phone, he explained everything he would need from me and told me what to expect from him. He shared how he would help, providing best and worst case scenario. And a timeline. Joe moved away from California, but does return regularly as he's a Ducks fan and has season tickets. He may have been worth the price he quoted. I don't know. The two other quotes I got were more than 50% less than what he quoted. It does not make sense for me to pay 2x as much for somebody living in another state to do my taxes. I am writing this review because after and despite my explaining to him and his colleague why I would not be utilizing their services, I began receiving daily prompts to sign a contract. There was no contract when I let them know I would not be hiring them. Yet they sent it. It's seems shady to this old fart. The nerve!

My aunt was informed that by law she had to notify me since I was the next of kin. It is now August of 2017 and no notice, no mail, no phone call. It's a good thing my aunt told me or I still would not know. It is now one year since the passing of my mother and I have never heard one word from this law office. I had to go on the internet to verify if my mother had passed. I find it very strange that my aunt got this weird call and I have never been contacted, especially since my aunt was told that by law my mother's attorney had to notify me. Strange indeed.
