I had put off finding a new dentist for quite some time. I met with an office member that couldn't have been nicer. As it can be embarrassing explaining this, she was companionate and stated there were a couple of hygienists who would be great for me. The day of my appointment I was nervous going to a new place and it had been so long but was okay because of the talk with the office staff. I went back with the hygienist who was friendly but it took a short amount of time for me to realize she knew nothing; she didn't know I hadn't been to the dentist in years, didn't know about childhood trauma, she had no idea I was nervous...... She was again friendly (smiling) but not a good fit for someone in my situation. She didn't explain things; yes a lot has changed over the years; I honestly sat confused how this appointment could have gone so wrong after being reassured when I made the appointment; a mistake had to have been made. I finally spoke up a couple of times asking questions especially when I was being taken to another room for an X-ray after having X-rays in the first room. I was clueless at what was going on and she wasn't explaining. When I got up from my chair I was sweating so bad you could see the outline of my body in the chair. I kept thinking when was it going to be over. Then another thing done I had never had done and didn't know what it was; I finally stopped her and asked her what this was. As she smiled, she would I'm sure be good for someone who goes to the dentist every 6 mo and knows the routine and doesn't need anything explained but in my situation, not a perfect fit. At that point I was thinking with the hygienist, I was never stepping foot in there again. But then I met Dr Hana; absolutely calming and compassionate. It was obvious he knew my situation. When I left, I left now torn about going back. I thought if I could just get a different hygienist I would be okay. Time lapsed past my 6 month appointment, I received emails, text messages and post cards to make an appointment. One day when I received a text message, I texted back about my experience. Stated I didn't know if I wanted to come back because of the hygienist but was thinking about coming back because the dentist was excellent. Attached is the response I received; then ghosted. I repeated that I didn't want to speak ill of the hygienist but not a good fit for anyone in my situation. I know for a fact as the employees are good, every employee excels in different areas. I was hoping since my initial office staff encounter was excellent and encounter with the doctor was excellent, a different hygienist would be a good resolution. I thought a mistake had been made. Instead it is stated they would reflect on what could have been done better? Not an attempt for a resolution? Not an offer of a different hygienist? Not I'm sorry, maybe she was unaware of my situation? Not, maybe there was a mixup with appointments and I received the wrong hygienist? I finally gave honest feedback hoping there would be an easy solution; a different hygienist. This puts more shame towards people that don't feel comfortable at a dentist. SO disappointed.....

Spotlessly clean office & wonderfully staffed, they are completely concerned with taking care of their patients with care & comfort. They have all the most modern equipment. Marcella & Michelle are hygienists who do an amazing job~ perfect, IMO! Dr. Sitto is my hero. He sat and discussed all the options to take care of my problems and made me feel confident with my decisions. He backs his work 100%. My teeth are in his hands, literally! Dr. Hanna is swell, too, but I only had the pleasure of meeting him once. I watched a variety of patients have their needs met while mine were dealt with to my immense satisfaction.

I spent over 10 minutes on the phone as a new patient, only to show up and find out the appointment had never been saved. I was pregnant at the time, had arranged a babysitter for my other child, and completely rearranged my schedule -- but they didn't. They rescheduled, but it was still a major inconvenience. I decided to give them another chance and made an appointment back in February/March. My main concern was the X-rays, which I told Matt I did have some done at a different office within the last year. I spoke with the office manager, Matt, who put me on hold for a long time before telling me I could sign a waiver to skip them. No one mentioned needing to bring copies of my previous X-rays. Today, while I was in the chair, Sammy informed me that the X-rays needed to be sent that same day and had to have been taken within the last year. No dental office works that fast, so I was basically set up to fail. When she checked with the dentist, the dentist said she had no idea why Matt told me a waiver was possible, because the X-rays are "necessary" to determine what kind of cleaning I need. This was news to me. I asked how long the wait would be for a cleaning if I got the X-rays done now, and she said December. So I'd take X-rays in May just to wait seven months for a cleaning? What if something changes in the meantime? I rearranged my kids' schedules and drove a long way for this appointment, only to feel completely burned again. I originally chose this office for their fluoride-free and cleaner practices, but the constant inconsistencies and poor communication have made me decide to take my business elsewhere. I now have to start over with a new dentist and wait who knows how long for another appointment. Matt, I'm not sure what kind of office you're running, but this level of inconsistency is unacceptable. Sammy, a little empathy would go a long way when speaking to patients who are already stressed and trying to make things work.

I have been a patient of Dr. Antolak's for 7 years now. And there is a reason why I originally…read moreseeked him out. His name. "The Gentle Dentist" I had previously had issues with a few dentists that claimed to be the same... they would take care of you, make sure you were as comfortable as possible. Well, that wasn't the case at the other places that I had tried out for being a dentist. To be frank, I have a horrific fear of going to the dentist. Why that is? I have no idea... maybe its the fact that for some reason its painful... you're vulnerable... you're trusting those other people to do what they need to do so that you can continue being able to eat and do it without having any pain in life. From my first meeting with Dr. Antolak, I knew that this was going to be a completely different experience than any other dentist office I had ever been to. He sits down with you, gets to know you, actually listens to everything that you are worried, concerned, or that you have questions about. He will explain everything in terminology that you can understand, and he does everything in his power to make sure you're comfortable. The staff themselves are amazing. They remember you, they know your personal details, but most of all they put your dental health in front of everything else... They don't suggest having work done that isn't necessary. Another key reason why I had found Dr. Antolak is that he has been trained in Sedation Dentistry. Basically it is summed up that if you have fear of going to the dentist, have had bad experiences, or have severe anxiety like myself... they can provide you with medicine that will allow you to 'sleep' through your appointment. You go in, take some medicine, get all relaxed, lay back in the chair.... and then that is it. Everything is done. I could probably sit here for a while and rave about how kind and friendly everyone at the office is, but I would say that if you are in the search for a dentist... Dr. Antolak should be at the top of your list of dentists to check out in the area.

When I called to make an appointment for my husband and I, I told them I didn't want passwords and logins for anything. I was originally told that wouldn't be a problem. 20 minutes later, I start getting calls and texts demanding our emails. Even though, I didn't want to communicate with email I called them back with it. I still received SEVERAL phone calls and text messages about them wanting my email. It was very high pressure! Not a "gentle" experience. It was as invasive as a door to door sales that pushed their way into your front door and wouldn't leave. I called to let the office know that the new patient forms indeed required additional logins and passwords. Instead of offering an alternative solution, the rude staff said "well then this isn't for you." I guess it's the right office for you if you enjoy high pressure, constant harassing contact via EVERY form of communication without stopping and if you collect usernames and passwords. This office is the very definition and experience of why many people don't use their dental insurance.

Then they did all kinds of procedures that I didn't approve of - thousands of dollars of work was recommended. I told them I didn't approve any of these procedures done. I was given a credit and later had a tooth filled and a different tooth pulled. So the credit I had was used up. I went to a new Dentist this week they did X-rays etc and found two teeth that need to be removed and recommended another Dental Surgeon which I met with today. The charges for the two teeth is going to be less than I paid for one with McKinley. So in closing - the prices of McKinley is way to high and appear to only want to do expensive procedures. Very disappointing. I will say this the Dentist did do a good job as far as the removal of the tooth. Unfortunately the tooth she filled is now one of the teeth that will have to be pulled so I wasted a lot of money having it filled.

The actual office environment is very inviting & bright with books and artifacts to put you at ease. I found the music to be a bit loud in the waiting room but I'm sure if I said something they would have toned it down. DDS, Ray McKinley wrote a fascinating book; you can read it or purchase it while you are in the office.

Unfortunately I wish I had a better first experience at this dental office …read more I made an appointment for my one year old for her first dental care appointment. While filling out paper work the office representative asked if there was anything wrong with my child regarding her teeth. I said no she mentioned that usually if there isn't a problem then they would refer you to go to a pediatric dentist. I said is there a problem with her appointment for today? She said no it's just maybe it would be more comfortable for to go there instead. She was seen by the hygienist and she was very kind but again asked if there was anything wrong with her teeth and that usually they see them starting at 3. She still was very kind. The Dr. when he came in to see us said how did you know to book an appointment for her. I told her I was encouraged by my pediatrician. He said yeah some pediatricians mentioned to do that but typically 3 is the average age we see. He gave me great tips and was kind to my daughter. Overall this office needs to do better with how they handle a infant appointment. If you don't want to provide a service appointment for a child under 3 then don't accept the appointment . Because all I experienced was an attitude and unnecessary information from the front desk and apprehension and awkwardness from the hygienist and doctor, although they were kind still the comment about the average age and making me feel as though it's weird I'm bringing my child in at 1 when I was encouraged by her pediatrician and also it being my decision for the appointment as her parent was just unnecessary. I did not leave wanting to come back.

Which leads me to believe this was nothing more than a MONEY GRAB... they could make $1200. on a root canal that was not needed because he would have lost the tooth anyway... Needless to say bad business practice and we will be going elsewhere in the future
