However, what keeps this from five stars is the lack of friendliness from the workers and how dull or bland the place seemed. Although I was greeted when I came in, when I requested help in other areas, the workers didn't seem as open to help. There were also some equipment that were out of order, making me wait. However, I know EōS is really quick on getting their equipment fixed.

Attentive, knowledgeable, and patient trainers. Healthy mix of gender, age, color, and fitness levels in the member community. Excellent fitness programming; very variable movements. I could attend every class in a week and never repeat movements. There always seems to be a program focus in place e.g. 4-week bench press focus, 6-week running focus, etc. Each program starts and ends with a test to assess progress over time. The programming motivates regular class attendance. The gym also nurtures member community with regular/monthly events like bowling, trivia, rock climbing, pot lucks, etc. It's fun to connect with other gym members outside of the gym given we see each other so regularly in the gym. I've just completed month 8 with the gym, and I'm in the best shape of my life. Hitting the ground running in 2022. Big thanks to the FW Strong staff and member community.

I can do anything. This gym was one of the weirdest gyms I've ever been to, but I kind of have a soft spot for it. I felt like we were the first people to use it in three months. They brought out the AC (a big old fan), and turned on the music just for us when we got there, and we were the only people there for the first hour or so. Then a bunch of old people showed up and used it with us as well as a couple of cute people and some really loud guys who are like the kind of guys that would get kicked out of Planet Fitness. The showers were not very good. The nice guy at the front desk brought me ice (to preserve my antibiotics for my finger that I nearly lost in Harvey), and then the nice woman in the fitness room told me to keep the container. Everyone was really friendly and it's kind of sad that not very many people use this gym, except around evening time apparently... Also, lizards use this gym. I found a lizard in the bathroom and saved him. He's super cute. He's now free. I hope he has a long and very lizard friendly life. The showers and lockers are really old but the locker room itself is fine. They only have one bike that I could possibly use, so I guess I was lucky that nobody wanted to use it during the time I was using it. Speaking of using it, want to use it? (Pulls down pants)

The feel of the gym is not like the commercial feel like your la fitness or fitness connection which is why I gravitated to this place! We were able to meet the owner and he was super nice and thanked us for coming in to check it out. Day passes are available on the website and various memberships such as annual or monthly. I've also heard they have a weekend only membership but it doesn't look like that is advertised. Personal training is also an option on their site!

Clean bathrooms, booked easily on ClassPass, and I spotted Hyrox signs which got me excited. There's also a physical therapy biz inside, and both seemed busy, so clearly something's working. The vibe felt a little more quiet and low key than my usual energy, but I can see the community is there. All in, a solid 4 stars.
