They arrived on time, which is good, but kind of expected considering I ordered two weeks in advance. I ordered a "deluxe" bouquet with a balloon, not cheap when combined with shipping and tip. What arrived was a very underwhelming bouquet stuffed with filler leaves and flowers barely in bloom. The balloon which I ordered also failed to arrive. It's funny because for another set of flowers I got for my mom, I went with literally 1 800 Flowers, and paid the same amount (within a $5 difference). That bouquet was significantly more impressive than this local business I tried to support. Oh well. Extremely disappointed in the overall business. I went in 10 days prior to order altar flowers for my mother in laws funeral. I had picked a design from their catalog and asked for some of the white flowers to be replaced with purple flowers. I also asked for a Purple Ribbon. The woman who helped me was nice and said they could take care of all it for me. We scheduled a 9:30 drop off before her 10:30 service. Fast forward to the funeral day... I called the shop 5 minutes before the start of the funeral asking where they were. Was placed on hold while they figured out where my flowers were and was told they would be there in the next 10 minutes. They did arrive within that 10 minute time, but looked nothing like what I ordered, however they did put in a few sprigs of purple and added a white ribbon instead of the requested purple. I was offered a refund and was told someone would be reaching out to me, but have yet to hear back from them. I can't compliment the level of personal service (Debra) is willing to offer. I ordered what I thought would be great for my 94 year old grandmother. She called and had reservations about the weight of what I had ordered. She offered two separate arrangements that would be easier to carry in from the porch if delivered while grandma was home. I generally don't like giving negative reviews. That said, I've had a horrible experience with Spencer and Crystal at William Paul Floral. My daughter's wedding was back in October of 2022. (The woman that helped us before the wedding was great but is no longer there.) It has now been almost 2 1/2 months with no reply back but I keep on calling. The pictures below show what I got from them the day of the wedding and then the other one is what I showed them I wanted. The candles are all mine. It was $65.00 per table and there were 22 tables. There are half the flowers than I thought would be in the cheap plastic bowl that is shown below. You shouldn't have even seen the bowl - it was tacky looking. My stomach sunk when I walked into the reception room and saw them. I spoke with Crystal and she agreed and said, yes, they do look bad and that I would be getting half my money back but that she would have to speak with the owner. After that conversation, I heard nothing. So I called four more times and spoke with Spencer each time, who never told me, by the way, that he was the owner. When I did find out he was the owner and I called, he said, "It's up to Crystal to pay you." I said on my last call, "You are the owner. Don't you make those decisions?" He told me no, email Crystal and that it was up to her. But, of course, I haven't heard back from either one after emailing and leaving a voicemail and text message, nor have they EVER called me back when I've called inquiring, which has been since last November. Spencer has been totally unprofessional as the company owner for not taking responsibility for their mistake. read more

I ordered the arrangement listed on their website as Cinderella, deluxe. This is their description "This arrangement features luxe blooms in shades of pink, white and red. This design is styled in a galvanized tin vase. Ranunculus, Roses, Succulents and more steal the show in this custom bouquet." What they delivered was orange roses, with a few pink tulips in a wooden box. The flowers were wrong, the container was wrong. the colors were wrong, where are the advertised succulents? The arrangement looked like it was done by a child. I've seen much prettier arrangements at the super market that did not cost anything close to the $127.00 I paid. I was so embarrassed that the recipient thought that I would send such a cheap looking arrangement. This is totally bate and switch, I'm planning on taking them to small claims court so that they get their act together and this does not happen to anyone else. We paid a premium to get this gift sent out on time and they did not have the courtesy to call any of the 5 messages we left back. Sent an email to address on their website and it was returned, see image. Fake email? They operate very scammy. The answering service acts clueless and can only take a message. No one at the florist actually answers the phone. Is the address even legit? Rude customer service representatives. A valentine floral gift was delivered to an empty house. it was finally given to the receipient after two days of sitting outside in the rain and cold. Flowers also came with a soft toy which was soaking wet and a box of chocolates that ended up covered in ants. None of the gifts were able to be saved. I sent two emails to the company asking for a refund for the purchaser but they didn't even respond. Would not recommend them for any special delivery. read more

I called them the next day not quite as happy with the pot they choose but they actually brought two different pots by for her to choose a different one. Just a warning to potential customers, this florist is a scam. The original William Paul Floral Design, made beautiful bouquets years ago, a website with their name is still running, but, the charge to your account will show "Willliam" -w/ 3 l's. You know those Yelp reviews that begin with, "I'd give zero stars if I could"? Welcome to another one....buckle up. This is a review for "William Paul Floral Design" and "Maya's Flower Shop". If you are looking for a particularly unscrupulous collaboration, look no further than this not-so-dynamic duo. I ordered a Mother's Day large "premium" floral arrangement box from William Paul Floral Design on the Tuesday before to avoid any issues for a Saturday morning delivery. I spoke with a man named "Spencer" that Friday to confirm he'd received the order and understood my substitution of Ranunculus for Carnations. He said it was handled. Cut to Saturday NIGHT at 7:15 PM and my sweet mom received a small pile of absolute dead garbage flowers (including Carnations, of course) shoved into a cheap vase filled with dirty water from "Maya's Flower Shop". Imagine my confusion when my mom sent the picture of what she received vs. what I had ordered... and not even from the correct florist! William Paul Floral Design had decided my parents' address was outside of their coverage area and, unbeknownst to me, passed my $165.00 order onto Maya's Flower Shop, a ONE star company (AKA "If they could get zero stars, they certainly would"). Not an exaggeration to say it appeared they had pulled week+ old flowers out of a dumpster and repurposed an old vase with used toilet water for this "arrangement". I have reported Maya's Florist to BBB and to the surprise of absolutely no one, this "company" already had multiple reports listed. Thankfully, I was fully refunded by William Paul Floral Design, but I am still waiting for a call back from the owner. I'm so embarrassed my mom had to feign happiness about receiving this nasty, dead excuse for a gift. read more

DO NOT USE THIS FLORIST! I had two decent experiences with them previously and didn't understand why there were so many negative reviews. Now I understand why so many people suspect this shop is some kind of scam. I placed an online order for same day delivery and upgraded to a premium bouquet for one of their featured arrangements ("Rosé all Day") and spent a little over $160 with tip. The vase was the same as advertised - but the bouquet consisted of red roses with some fern greenery - not even close to what the arrangement should've been. I could've easily spent less than $30 at Trader Joe's to create the same thing. I spent a week trying to reach someone to request a refund. My calls went directly to voicemail and my messages were ignored. I stopped by the shop and spoke to a woman who said she was unauthorized to give refunds, but took my information and assured me someone would be in touch. After not hearing from anyone, I called the SF location and reached a live person. Ultimately, I was able to get a refund, but I recommend you avoid this business altogether. read more

What a shame. I am the lady who received the flowers from this florist. My husband's message was cut off on the card and I couldn't tell what he wanted to say. The vase was half full, the greens were overstuffed and many leaves and flowers were old. I had to take the flowers out and add enough water and then completely redo the bouquet so it would look decent. It was an obstacle and irritating. He could've got a nicer bouquet at Trader Joe's. Second, they were so friendly and professional they made me feel less guilty about my procrastination. They asked for my inspiration photos, sent me a quote, and told me they'd have the centerpieces delivered to my event. Everything was incredibly easy and seamless. Not to mention the actual centerpieces were GORGEOUS and they really brought my vision to life. They listened to my requests for certain colors and flowers too. I received so many compliments. I live in Los Angeles and my girlfriend moved to Roseville roughly 9 months ago. In that time I have used The Flower Shop twice and they have surpassed expectations both times. I ordered a designers choice arrangement last August and they were able to work with my budget. I myself work in a flower shop (just deliver) and for the amount I paid, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw a picture of an arrangement much fuller than expected! Because of this, I came back to them for Valentines Day, this time with a more specific request of a smaller arrangement with 3 roses and 3 sunflowers with filler. The morning of the requested delivery, I received a phone call from The Flower Shop saying that they had the sunflowers in stock but they just weren't up-to-par with their standards. They said that they didn't want to send out any poor quality flowers that would not last and asked if they could switch out the sunflowers for something fresher. I know first-hand how crazy that time of year is for a florist and it meant a lot that, even with the craziness, they still made the call to ensure that everything would be perfect. Not only were they never delivered, there is NO WAY to reach a human being. I emailed at least 3 times, left 4 voicemails, messaged through their website, Facebook and IG. I tried to reach them for 3 days and not a single response...no one ever picks up the phone. Now I have to contest the credit card charge and my poor elderly mom who was alone on Mother's Day didn't get flowers to brighten her day. Unreal. I'm a little late to review. My wedding was October 2021. Let me just start by saying that all of the arrangements were absolutely stunning! They really went above and beyond my expectations. The entire process was so easy and I felt that they listened to my vision and brought it to life. When I first saw the price, I was a little unsure, I didn't want to get stuck with skimpy arrangements on my wedding day. But when I say I was surprised, I WAS SURPRISED, beautiful full arrangements for totally doable pricing. My Bridal bouquet? ABSOLUETLY GORGEOUS! My family loved them so much that we're hoping to go through them again for my parents 25th wedding anniversary this year! Highly recommend!
