I don't make reviews often- I absolutely had to for Cameron Park Florist because they are one of the kindest, helpful people to work with. I was not the ideal customer- In fact, I think it would annoy almost any artist (florist, baker, painter, etc) to have a last-minute request. I made a call to Cameron Park Florist looking for a last minute bouquet for my mother's birthday that was on the same day. I spoke with Dawn over the phone. I informed her right off the bat that I have no experience working with a florist, and I am in need of beautiful flowers that same day. I was hesitant, but Dawn was so kind to tell me that's what she's here for, and pushed me to spring my ideas on what I wanted. She told me to give her half an hour and she would have it ready. Normally, I am met with hesitance or rejection when it comes to last minute requests (who can blame them though?). This was an entirely different experience, and this is the kind of service that will keep me as a regular customer. I have been a loyal customer of Cameron Park Florist for years, using them for everything from sending flowers to friends and coworkers to ordering for homecomings and proms. They have always been my go-to--until today. I called to order a boutonniere and a bouquet for my son's prom date and asked if I could email photos for reference. I was told to send the pictures, which I did. While waiting, I confirmed a budget of $85 for the bouquet and $18-$23 for the boutonniere and specified white and pink flowers (no roses). Without ever reviewing the photos, I was told they "couldn't do it" and that I should go to another florist. When I mentioned that I had been a longtime, satisfied customer, I was bluntly told they were not interested in making my order and that I should find someone else. I was also told they didn't want to deal with potential refunds or bad reviews--again, without even seeing what I had requested. After this interaction, I left an honest review reflecting my experience. Shortly after, I received a phone call from the same employee, who was upset, yelling, and threatening to sue me if I didn't take the review down. She also made inappropriate personal assumptions about my life, saying I probably have never worked and have a husband who supports me. (I am a fifth grade school teacher.)I later received an email demanding the same--despite being told earlier that my original email with photos had never been received. This was one of the most unprofessional customer service experiences I have ever had. Based on this interaction, I cannot recommend this business and would caution others before choosing to work with them. read more

Absolutely stunning bouquet! I ordered 2 1/2 dozen roses in red, white, and yellow, and they were beyond beautiful. Each rose was incredibly fresh, vibrant, and perfectly arranged. Ordered & purchased a premium gorgeous Christmas arrangement to be delivered for a special friend's Christmas gathering of family & friends in early December. flowers delivered were a puny, barely standard decoration. VERY disappointed! Last year I ordered a live plant for my mom and it was nice. Expensive, but nice. This year the employee I spoke with suggested a "topiary" of assorted succulents. I liked the idea and ordered it. What was delivered was a small Dollar store glass bowl with some loose dirt and three, THREE succulents worth about $6. Including delivery, this dull, pathetic arrangement was $89.50!! I was so embarrassed that this is what I sent my mom for her 75th birthday. Cameron Park Florist did a contactless delivery for me this month, within 24 hours of my online order. I am very pleased with all interactions I had with this business, and would use them again. Their online ordering system is easy to use, and I encountered no issues. There are many bouquets to choose from, and several that could fit a random occasion, which this was. I chose a beautiful purple and pink bouquet that included a variety of flowers, including carnations, a favourite of the intended recipient, and lavender, to calm and sooth. My delivery gal called me the day of the delivery to verify the address and discuss safety protocol for the contactless delivery I had requested, due to the Rona time we are still in the midst of, and the intended being elderly. Within a couple hours I received confirmation the flowers had been delivered and were being enjoyed. For this Valentines Day, I ordered a stuffed animal with the flowers. After it was delivered, I noticed the Stuffed animal was not with the flowers. I called to informed them. We didn't have a great experience with my daughters' graduation lei from Cameron Park florist. I am glad to say that one of the owners, Gio, went above and beyond to make it right. Gio explained he believes a step was missed in the assembly process and he will be revisiting that with the necessary employees. If your recipient of an order from this business doesn't care that the flowers they receive wont at all be worth what you ordered or paid for, then this is the florist for you. The florist advertises beautiful arrangements but does not actually deliver what is advertised, let alone a quality product. Especially be ware if you order from out of the immediate area. She probably takes good care if customers that pick up their order face to face. Poor value for your money.....so disappointing even after a second chance and a third chance. PLEASE do NOT give this woman business!! She stole $200 from me! I ordered a bouquet and 2 boutineers from a lady who worked there and she was nice and helpful. Then the owner called me yesterday morning saying that the lady who helped me gave me the wrong price and that because it was a "bridal" bouquet she needed to charge more. I explained to her that I didn't want a big bridal bouquet. That I just wanted something small and simple. I'd be happy purchasing a bouquet from Safeway, only I want the flowers to be fresh. She didn't listen to me and I checked my Credit card statement and she processed another charge for $90 on top of the $108 I already paid! I called her only a couple of hours after she called me, but she was not there. I told the person who was there that I wanted to cancel my order with them. This person said only the owner could do it and I needed to wait for her to call me back the following day (which is today). She did call me and I told her I wanted to cancel my order. She said she could not because she already ordered the flowers. WHAT!? She's a complete liar...my event is not until Sept 14th...that's almost 3 weeks away! She then proceeded to ask me why I was yelling at her, and I told her 1. I am not yelling, I want my money back, and 2. she did not listen to what I wanted so I want to cancel my order. She refused again saying this time she can give me a store credit for half of the amount. She also said that she was going to fire the nice young lady that originally helped me and actually listened to what I wanted. The phone call ended with her not giving me any of my money back and me having to file a dispute with my credit card company. I feel bad for the lady that was actually helpful, but grateful that maybe she won't have to work for this horrible business owner. Ok the day after my review the owner called me and asked me how she can rectify the issue, she said they have a new employee and that caused the problem and agreed that what they sent its not equal to what I ordered , I asked her to send the new basket and send the picture to me. she did do that the new basket was much better. its very good that they accept their fault and tried to rectify the problem. This florist is the best! We needed to make arrangements for a funeral occurring in 4 days and this florist was not only able to accommodate our needs but did so very compassionately. The shop is open to the public and you can look at photos in binders and ask questions. They delivered at the viewing on time and the arrangements were gorgeous. I live across the country and wanted to send last minute flowers for my aunts birthday. I called early in the morning and was greeted by a friendly lady. She was sweet and understood what I wanted.
