1. I asked for them to deliver the flowers anytime *after* 3pm per the note that I wrote in prior to making the online purchase for delivery today (4/1/26) -- instead, I got an email from them at 3:33pm today stating that it finally got delivered... but on the email they sent said it was delivered at 12pm. If they were unable to deliver on the requested time, they could've called me; my number was also written in the steps prior to purchase. I do not appreciate this type of service especially coming from a company that seemed great from initial appearance, but clearly lack in quality customer care. But it's very clear they don't really care, otherwise I would've been informed via call or email but again, got nothing. There's a reason why I stated my request for a certain time frame. It is what it is now. 2. I paid about $5 extra for them to send me an email of how the flowers looked prior to making the delivery -- what's the point of that when I never received it at all? Take that option off if you're unable to deliver such service that's outside of what you actually can do. It makes no sense how something simple can turn out complicated even in the slightest bit. And no, I'm not upset. Just unfortunately disappointed at the professionalism and lack of quality care that I had to share my experience with everyone here. The flowers on the other hand looked nice from the image that was sent to me from my family member. Although the flowers looked nice, the quality of service should match. It doesn't. I didn't want to believe what the other negative reviews were saying since I prefer to give things a chance at least once, and unfortunately I see why others weren't happy with their experience. Again, yes the flowers were nice, but I wasn't informed, at all, through email or phone about the delivery time and also paying an extra $5 to see what it looks like before sending it off. No point in having that as an option online if you're not going to do your part. I'm sure others have had great experiences with this shop; I don't doubt that. I just cannot get on that boat with them because my experience wasn't great. If you know better, then do better. Quality customer service these days are horrible as it is already, don't make it worse. DO BETTER. read more

So I call and the young lady answers, very polite very down to earth but I said "Hey I'm at work so please call me if there's any issues" It's now 3:20pm so I called them back because I've never received a call. I went to their website to select the floral arrangment I wanted, called them up, and got a helpful staff member named Rebecca. She explained the options for my arrangement and it was quick and easy to enter the order for same day delivery. Rebecca did notify me later that some particular flowers shown on the website were unavailable for my order. To compensate, they added extra flowers that complimented the other flowers in the vase. But for some reason, the nurses liked the flowers so much that they kept them for themselves a full 24 hours! So our friend didn't get the flowers until the next day. I have to give this place a big high five and lots of stars!!! I chose Morningside florist for my personal flowers (bouquets, corsages, and boutonnières) for my wedding day. Initially, I spoke with several other florists and while I liked their ideas on florals, Morningside had the ideas that really spoke to my personal taste. I felt that they truly understood my taste and took my ideas to the next level. They asked me questions that other florists did not and that attention to detail was really brought forth in the ideas they presented to me. I worked closely with Rachel on my ideas and even though I knew she was frequently swamped with orders, she never left me hanging with questions and returned my calls and emails within the time frame she had indicated she would. This was such a relief to me while planning a wedding, since I had spoken to many vendors who would not return inquiries promptly or when they indicated previously they would respond, and when working on a timeline. It was very helpful for me to feel that I could count on Morningside to not only answer my questions in a timely manner, I knew they would care for my order and bring that same care to the florals. Good Florist! Had flowers delivered downtown to my wife's place of employment. They were delivered on time and were beautiful. The driver even texted me after the flowers were delivered. Very nice. I am rating this floral shop just as "OK." Mainly, because they were able to fill my order the day after Valentine's Day and I was not locked into ordering roses as other places required. They were also in proximity to my colleague's home in Elk Grove. Also, for those who are spoiled as a result of being in proximity to world-class florists in larger metro areas, you will need to lower your expectations for creativity and quantity. That being said, "Rose" ,who took the order, was pleasant enough. But I am glad that I had extensive experience working with florists and was able to zero in on "something suitable" for a colleague's birthday. In the end, the arrangement that was delivered was HEAVY on the greens (i.e., the leaves) and light (very) on the flowers. The total order came up to $130ish dollars. With re: to customer service, I do agree with the majority of YELP reviews that they were pleasant to work with and a BIG THUMBS UP for a business that still has humans answering calls ! Advice to customers using this business again: please get VERY CLEAR on the volume of flowers you will be getting for your order. Someone help me with this... I don't want to be upset about the flowers that were delivered to my mother. She was having a tough morning so I wanted to send something to brighten her day. I ordered online and she works maybe 5mins from the location so they were able to deliver same day. I really appreciated that! However, I was embarrassed after all my meetings to find a picture of what was delivered. I ordered the larger arrangement of the below. I realize that some are in season and out so my disappointment isn't with the actual flowers themselves. I'm not sure where the pink bow came in and my arrangement isn't full at all. I could've created something like this myself, but I am all the way in Texas and unable to do so. The picture on the website shows what looks to be sticks and some type of bended décor along with a butterfly. Please help me understand. I was so embarrassed when she posted the picture on FB. It does not look ARRANGED at all. It was quite embarrassing so I'm looking for some answers. If I needed to guide maybe that should've been a phone call.
