Overall our experience with WRH was good but there can be some improvements even for new builders like us. The planning phase was good and we were able to get all our structure selections in. It was a bit hard to believe that additional outlets and the wiring for ceiling lights/fans were $100 each but I guess everything has a price. The design phase was a bit chaotic for us as we were a bit indecisive but in the end made the necessary selections. I really wished there was more time in this phase but I know things have to get moving along. I really wished WRH had a way to show us how the exterior of our home would look like from a 3-D perspective which would allow us to really envision the color scheme. During the build process, everything went according to plan and the build completed a little earlier than expected. I thought that the final walk-through went well but feel as though 1-2 weeks to fix some issues we found wasn't enough time. Personally, I would have liked to give the technicians more time to complete the list of issues that were found and to get these fixed. In the end, this is our last home so I would've been happy with a few more weeks to get things done. Overall, our experience was good and I would recommend WRH. read more

Great overall experience, and we love our new home! We decided to build with William Ryan Homes while we were still living out of state, and the whole team was very accommodating with the process. We had to make our selections over FaceTime, and while extremely difficult, Brittany made the process go as smoothly as possible. Our home was completed within the timeframe we were told, and while there were some issues and things that needed to be fixed at closing, we were satisfied with how things were taken care of. I really want to give a shout-out to Joe Francis. He handled our 11 month warranty claims, and he did a really great job. He took care of all of our issues quickly, and was very friendly. He went above and beyond, in our opinion, answering all of our questions and making sure we were well taken care of. we had and ongoing issue with one of our rooms being very cold in winters and tried reaching out to several other companies to get this fixed which never happened until recently we came to Know about Dave Woldanski from one of our friends in the neighborhood and reached out through Text . Dave called back in no time and scheduled an appointment to come in and look at the issue. He knew where exactly to look for, he notified the issue to the insulation company and within no time the room was back to normal as it never ever was.This all happened in a week. We got new home with William Ryan Homes in Sun Prairie (West Prairie Village). For 2 months & 6 months warranty fixes we approached WRH. Sam Nelson from WRH contacted for list of things to get them fixed. Sam was very professional, on time and helped us to close each and every item in the warranty fix. He even extended working hours to fix issues. He diligently followed up with other contractors and got done my work.
