The teachers take time to teach them reading and writing and all the basic learning skills to prepare them for Kindergarten. My husband and I love their curriculum and daily activities. The facility is huge and very clean. We never have issues dropping the kids off in the morning because they loved going everyday. The teachers and aides are very caring and attentive. We were sorry we had to move out of the area otherwise our children would still be going to Future Leader Learning Center.

The center will not offer toileting assistance to children who ask for help other than providing them with their spare clothing and offering wipes for the child to clean themselves up. I called the state about my concerns. The state visited and found that the center was not out of compliance with this, however; during a meeting regarding the care of my child the directors were very rude. They told me that I was upset because I was not getting what I wanted. When I asked where in their handbook to find the section on the care they provided and didn't provide the director told me, "You can read, find it yourself. You signed that you read and understood the information." When I asked what age they expected children to wipe and clean themselves up "three" was the answer that was provided. My child is school aged and I certainly don't expect any staff member to accompany him to the bathroom and monitor his toileting habits. I do however expect that anyone who I am paying to provide care for my son, help him whenever he requests help. I don't feel that including this in an IEP is appropriate (the center requested this in order to provide help to my child if he asked for it). This is not a disability but a skill that has not been fully developed The center did offer to call me if my child requested assistance and I could leave work to come to the center to assist him. Needless to say, I am very disappointed and the care of my child will not be entrusted to this organization. The directors are very unprofessional and condescending to their patrons when their business/care practices are questioned. These ladies have a lot to learn if they are going to be successful in the childcare business. When I told them I would be posting my review to social media they asked to make sure I included all of the details so I hope this honors their request. Parents/guardians, do your homework and make sure to visit this center before deciding to place your child here. Go with your gut.

From there, we went inside to the wine tasting (for a least a glass) before I headed back however needless to say 2.5hrs later and 10 bottles sacked to go, we finally left. It is always a good time hanging out with Chef Gwyn and her staff. This was my 2nd event at her establishment and I can't wait until I can join in again...If you venture out to the island I encourage you to come join in as well. When she started she was not potty trained. Ms Brooks (the owner AND teacher) has helped her blossom in so many ways. My 3 year old now knows some colors and numbers in Spanish, she recognizes her name by sight, can tell you how to spell her name without seeing the letters and she even knows how to write the majority of her first name. She is also fully potty trained. She knows letter, numbers, shapes (including octagon and hexagons) and what surprised me the most is that she knows all of her alphabets in sign language ( we go straight down the list, mix it up, and we even give her the wrong answers sometimes to see if she corrects us, which she does) Ms. Brooks is an excellent teacher, along with her daughters who help occasionally. I chose the word school earlier because that is exactly what its like. They wear uniforms, they have homework, art projects and more. My daughter loves her and she loves the kids right back. From a parents point of view, outside of how much she teaches the kids, she RARELY closes (outside of major holidays) and she is very flexible. Another plus is that the class setting is small for it to be a center. But they all learn so much and I love it!

I am so proud of her and I am especially happy with her teacher. I never see anyone come in and out of this child care center with hand/foot/mouth virus, the flu or and other virus because this facility is very clean. 5 stars to this center.
