It is actually comical how bad my experience with William Sellers Plumbing was. I have not choice but to laugh. During the inspection of a new property purchase, he provided a quote for plumbing repairs. After we closed, we asked him to come out and fix the things he flagged as problematic. He sent a crew out, informed us the job was done and we paid the invoice. I then went out to the property and the majority of the requested work was not complete. They did a few things we asked, a few things we didn't request and then did not do the majority of what we actually needed done. I wrote a kind email asking them to come back out and fix this. They did not reply. Email attached below. I then called their office and was promptly yelled at and scolded by the staff who answered the phone. The fact she got that loud was insane. After this interaction, I informed her I no longer wanted them to finish the job. I only wanted them to remove the line items from the invoice for the elements they did not complete. This is where it takes a turn. Rather than respond to my email or try to resolve the situation in any professional way, I received a form letter from William Sellers himself saying he was taking me to small claims court and was suing me. That's right... he was suing me for not paying for work he did not do. Mind you, I have before and after pictures of the work not being done. I've attached this notice as well. He should be embarrassed with himself but it is clear this is far from the first time he has pulled these tricks. When I called and got through to him he scolded me as well saying he has "30+ years of plumbing experience" and I don't know what I'm talking about. In the end, I paid his invoice to get this joke of a vendor out of my life. I will hire someone else to finish the job and correct the work they did incorrectly. Don't use this service unless you happen to be a fan of Judge Judy. So absurd. read more

It's really unfortunate after using this company for several basic repair calls that the last several visits have been so bad. First - when they came out to repair something it ended up causing a leak in something else and then we were charged another hundred dollars to repair that leak when it was caused by them in the first place. Second, they came out for a valve replacement on a faucet and spent an hour trying to get the sleeve off inside the wall but couldn't reach it. The plumber told us we had to take the backsplash off for him to get to it, which is fine but then the company charged us for FOUR HOURS OF LABOR. Total BS because he wasn't there more than an hour - hour and a half tops. And that's pushing it. So they charged us four hundred per hour? Top lawyers don't even charge this. By this point we're being billed this whether he fixed it or not and we didn't think it was going to be that much more. We were very wrong. They wanted to bill another $800 for him to come back and replace a valve. This isn't an all day job. We spoke with the owner and negotiated it down by $300 to a whopping total of $900, outrageous for this kind of job. But we were already in for half and we didn't want to start all over again with a new plumber. I wish we would have, because after the job was done they increased it by another $100 in their billing. This was after the agreed upon amount. None of that was discussed and nothing strange or unforetold happened that would lengthen the job. They just upped the price. DO NOT use this company. The billing was questionable at best, prices and labor time inflated and though we did get things fixed from time to time other things went wrong and it took too long to diagnose as well as being too unsure of the diagnostics. read more

Came up to help out my grandfather connect his sewer line to the city sewer needed septic pumped called around the city and nobody could come out for about a week but called over and spoke to April at william sellers plumbing and she was able to send someone out the next day they also help us with some clean dirt for backfill I went in there office to pay for there services at met several of the staff there office was nice and cool and they were all very friendly thanks to all of you everything went well with our septic to sewer conversion and thanks for the shirt Bill. If I could give negative stars to this company I definitely would. This company "certified" the septic tank on my home prior to me purchasing it. Two weeks after I moved in the septic tank was not working properly. This company refused to take any responsibility for the issue and lied about the testing that was done for certification. I had to have another company dig up the septic tank (It was obvious that this had not been done at all by William Sellers Plumbing!), and it was easy to see that there was no way that any reputable plumbing company would have "certified" the septic tank. In fact, once a test was completed it failed. So, long story short I had to pay $8000 for a new septic tank to be installed because of William Sellers Plumbing. Go with another company for your plumbing needs. One that isn't crooked, deceitful, irresponsible, and dishonest. read more

The best. I called for a kitchen sink clog in a rental house and they squeezed me in. They were there on time and fixed it. I called William Sellers Plumbing because water was spewing out the wall behind the washing machine. They came out to determine what the problem was. They came and charged me $135.00 for the visit. They said the problem was my septic tank. Note that they did not take the drywall off behind the washer. They pumped the septic tank and charged me $400.00 for this service. Still the water was leaking behind the washer so the problem was not fixed. Then they said that the problem was with the leach line for the septic tank and that this would cost $4,000. I then had a different plumber come and he came and took off the drywall where the leak was. He found a broken pipe and ran a rooter through the plumbing. This solved the problem with the water leak and also the smell that had been there is now gone. I have spoken to a number of people, including plumbers, who said they should have looked at where the leak was. They also said there was no evidence of a septic tank problem. read more

Mr Seller's arrived initially gave me an estimate to do a job I wanted, then he arrived with an invoice with an amount higher; then said he would save me money by adding another septic tank to my property that already had 3 septic tanks, never pulled a permit for the small tank I found was illegal in this state to install and overcharged me for that tank. He would not listen to reason when I contacted him on the telephone as he did not even return to my property, nor speak to me directly, but had his employee, Anthony insult and mock my surprised reaction as to how I was being ripped off. I was forced to take him to small claims court where I won my case. Now I am still out of thousands of dollars, left with an unpermitted tank which is not connected to anything ( that the county can hold me responsible for) and numerous area's on my property of pilled up sand, unsmoothed area's, tree branches they cut as not to scratch their new mini, a lost tool his worker borrowed and a large hole I had dug, composed in and prepared to plant an apple tree in. Seniors beware, this is not an honest man. read more
