The property is magical and my husband and I feel so fortunate that we were able to have our ceremony and reception there. Not only is the venue beautiful, Barbara and Dave Bhachu are the most gracious and generous owners/hosts you could ever work with. They went above and beyond in responding to questions, offering suggestions and directing and assisting on the day of the event. This is a place I selfishly want to keep secret but I also want to provide the most glowing recommendation because it was the perfect setting for our special day. Wines (red & white)...I had the cab and thought it was a decent full flavor. They also have honey, fresh eggs, a few veggies & olive oil. I think the sun had me off my game because I left without trying the olive oil (usually my favorite)! Did purchase the honey and it's a nice smooth flavor. Last but not last was the WONDERFUL house manager. I didn't get her name, she was running around helping everyone, she is a warm,nurturing professional that felt like a breath of fresh air. She was juggling task for sure, but the patrons loved her it had a family atmosphere. I can't wait to meander in the hills again and visit this farm another day in the future. They are prepared w/ a Luxury black shuttle van. Paul (our driver) was so informative and so knowledgeable about the Sonoma and Napa History. I appreciate how they already had an itinerary planned out for the day. We visited 4 wineries which one had a wonderful farm to table lunch waiting for us (which this was included in ticket price) Each winery visited made us feel at home/great stories/great people and great wine waiting for us upon arrival! Wine tasting fees are addl around $35-40 per person. Our last winery visited Paul helped us to get TSA approved shipping boxes which wine got home safely! Wish we could've stayed longer at Buena Vista and Sangiacomo. Would highly recommend wine trolley/bus tour and felt ticket price was reasonable for having great service/knowledgeable driver/lunch for an all day tour.

We were all laughing and have such a great time together! Our guide Paul was hilarious and had lots of great knowledge of the area. Everyone is small business owned at the places we stopped at and also felt very natural and warm. The interactions with everyone was fun and I definitely got some wine knowledge too! We stoped at four places. One beautiful vineyar with spectacular views, a food terrace and wine tasting area, a winery and makery, and another wine tasting bar. Would definitely do this again and highly recommend!

Their flavored vinegar is also fantastic. My favorites are the raspberry and black cherry. I'm glad this place is nearby because it's difficult to find good quality OO outside of Italy.

I visited to get another bottle of the: Sepay Groves…read moreFrantoio EVOO which is cold-pressed olives with a high poly- a bit peppery, grassy and (to me) a tad bitter. I use as a finishing oil drizzled on roast vegetables or for pasta dishes. Frantoio olive oil also has known health benefits! A great antioxidant, reduce inflammation, help with lowering cholesterol and for heart health due to high polyphenols. I'm all for it...a daily tablespoon or two will do ya! If you're a bit more adventurous you can go with the other high polyphenol EVOO of Spanish olives called Hojiblanca. Plenty of options of vinegars and olive oils to sample before you buy. Bought the 18yr old aged balsamic which elevates any dressing and your friend's will comment "how come mine doesn't taste like yours" (evil laugh!) ...quality ingredients make a difference! Staff helpful and will provide ideas for pairings with food and educate on the wonderful selection of products. Store shelves were not fully stocked (when I visited in Jan) but you can ask and a bottle will be filled in the back. Plenty of street parking and towards the end of First Street. Make it a destination for waterfront hike, shopping and eating! Support small business

A fun, interactive, and incredibly well done "Travel Around the World" Smart Cooking and Wine…read morePairing Event. My team and I had an amazing experience at Miggi's Kitchen. We learned to cook with the Thermomix while working in teams at different stations, preparing dishes from around the world. It was hands-on, interactive, and a lot of fun - every dish turned out delicious. Miggi is a fantastic teacher: clear, detailed, confident, and incredibly knowledgeable. She explains techniques in a way that's easy to understand, and we all walked away genuinely better cooks. We also paired the experience with wine tasting and learned how to taste and appreciate wine properly, which made the evening even more memorable. On top of that, Miggi's fun, warm personality really brings the whole experience together. My office team loved it and is still talking about it. REVIEW #1 BEST WINE…read moreEVENT I HAVE EVER PARTICIPATED IN!! WOWZERS! I am still thinking about my fun wine tasting day this weekend! I am SO happy I didn't miss this event, I would have been so disappointed in myself...and if you missed it, you should be really ashamed as well! This was such a well-organized event with tons of businesses that participated to make this a great turn out. It was 85 degrees weather and perfect day to wine taste. I first heard about this event on Eventbrite and there were tons of other wine events that were going on that day as well but I decided to try this event out. It was located in Benicia which was about a 1 hour from where I live. I was able to find the location and parking was a breeze. I noticed there was parking on the street as well as parking near the beach area. I didn't have any expectations for this event as I never been before so when I walked in I was greeted by a nice gentleman who explained the agenda for the day. The event was from 1PM-5PM, there were a total of 22 wineries but you get 15 free tastings: You are handed a half sheet of all the businesses that are participating in the event as well as the different wines that each business is offering. You go to each business, shop, look around and taste wine at each vendor store. MY PERFECT TYPE OF EVENT! I can shop and sip wine...OH plus talk to people who love doing what I love doing!! OMG, this was totally my type of day! You get 15 tastings and to be honest with you....I tapped out after 8 tastings! OMG, I can't believe I just wrote that...Yes...yes...people I couldn't drink anymore after the 8th tasting. I arrived at 1PM and by 3PM I was on my 8th tasting and I sat with one of the business for over 1 hour and they totally took care of me that I could have bypassed all the rest of the wines and been okay. My of the business even had snacks, treats and lovely music for you to take advantage of while you were there. I was able to witness stores that I never knew even existed! I found an amazing clothing stores, jewelry, my first experience doing a psychic reading! The list goes on and on... By 3:30PM I was walking back feeling myself. This event totally leaves you satisfied. Plus everyone was on their best behavior. No violence or rowdy people. By the time you walk most of the event you seem to meet friends along the way because we were all checking out the same wine stops. This totally changed my mindset about the little city of Benicia! This community is small but peaceful and beautiful! Fun cute shops and lots of history! I can't wait for next year's event! I hear they always do events such as this one.
