This one is clean, well organized and well maintained. Compared to the ones in Owasso and Tulsa, this one had an almost 'upscale' vibe to it. Can't believe I actually said that, but it's true. People were friendly, shelves were well stocked with everything. It looked like a model store or something. If Tulsa Walmarts were like this one, I might actually not mind going more often.

There are some home essentials available for purchase, but this is mainly a food store. They have shopping carts and baskets for convenience. The back of the store looks like there used to be a butcher for fresh meats, but now there isn't one. Some of the store aisles are unorganized and dirty. Most of the workers seem like younger people, and they were playing some game over the intercom system while I was shopping. It wasn't a very professional atmosphere.

Bag your own items in your own bags (or use one of the cardboard boxes from the store). Beware of the first aisle; it tempts you with junk food and sugar (but some is ok). If produce goes bad, Aldi is pretty good about taking it back. I'd suggest this store over Walmart on price, under for selection, and under for location (the old Walmart is closer to housing on the Southside of campus). It was interesting to find out that they don't have grocery bags (unless you purchase paper ones), but rather you can grab one of their boxes from anywhere and use it to carry your groceries. I just went tonight and bought good, quality meats and produce for $50 for the next week or so. This is so much cheaper and better than any of the other grocery stores I have been to. They also have a great discount isle and a fun little section of random things where I even bought my dog a sweater! I will always go to Aldi if given the option. Only downside is that something they don't carry everything I need for a recipe so I have to go to another store.

I would rate it five star -the biscuits just which you would like- light and fluffy and the jam freshly made and delicious. I also ordered what was called olive bread just because I love olives so much. I took the mini Bundt pan back up, paid for it and then proceeded to take my three XL or maybe even 2XL Mercantile Brown Handled Bags out to my trunk. (I hope that my husband doesn't put me on top of the car for the ride home!!!) ----at the very least, I'm probably going to be squished in the backseat with those bags and my 72# dog; however, this was TOTALLY worth it. All that shopping made me hungry and timing was perfect so once my bags were safely in the trunk -I walked right up to the hostess stand -she confirmed my table was ready and I was seated on a very comfy cushioned area that was behind my 2-top but I believe it extended to either side of me where the tables were both 4-tops. Justin was my server and he was fantastic. He took excellent care of me and I observed him giving the same high quality customer service to customers at his other tables. He had that charming OK accent and indeed told me he had lived at the next little town all his life. We had actually passed through Bartlesville on the way to "The Bunkhouse" (our ABNB for the 2-nights which was very near Pawhuska. (I'll be posting other reviews regarding the "Merc" mercantile and general store and the merchandise available and what I purchased.) This is one of my best days ever. The only thing that could've added to my joy was if Ree Drummond herself made an appearance. I was shocked when I went out to leave for home and found the Drummond Ranch truck parked next to my car. I never found out if it was just parked there as an advertisement, (although I don't think they need any advertising), or if there was a Drummond on the premises. I didn't mention I took 2 Turkey Bacon Club Sandwiches along with the home made potato chips (they came with each sandwich) and a side of MacNCheese which is what the boys chose from the menu. Happy to report that everything was made to order as requested and my family enjoyed their meal just as much as I did-however they missed the incredible ambience!!!

I was not aware that milk was expired a month ago!!! 06/10/2020. Due to work busy schedule I could not return the milk but only on 07/19/2020. The return staff member short, blond, think her name was chesssy or Chrissy, refused to return the milk because I did not have the receipt. Even though Walmart is the only store that sales great value brands. I had to drive in the heat to search for the receipt and bring back to store. Walmart please check back your principles in hiring smart staff or naively say no item will be returned without a receipt.

Visited on: multiple dates from 2012 to present…read more To my knowledge, this and Consumers are the only conventional dedicated grocery stores in Stillwater, and Food Pyramid is probably the most well-rounded grocery store, with the best selection of items and the most pleasant shopping environment. They tend to have better quality items (a good example is in ice cream) and the freshest produce. Their main downfall is their somewhat higher prices in comparison to Consumers and Walmart.

Went in the Sunday before spring semester started to find a completely barren produce section. Displays were entirely empty - it looked like Consumers did RIGHT BEFORE IT CLOSED FOREVER. I seriously wondered if FP was shutting down too, but the rest of the store seemed fairly well stocked. *Except* for the organic milk, which was entirely gone too. ?! So two of the key things that I went there to get - produce and milk - were fully out of stock. I've made a concerted effort never to shop at Walmart, but this was a major fail and poses the question: what is the point of going to Food Pyramid in the first place if I have to go to Walmart anyway to get the stuff FP doesn't have? Asked a few people at check-out what was going on, and no one seemed to have any answers. Consumers was not slick and had extremely limited stock, but at least I had the sense that it was being well managed. Am not sure what's going on at FP.
