During that time, I spoke directly with a mechanic who told me they were looking for a part to get the process started. Despite that, months passed with no follow-up or progress. I reached out several times for updates, and it wasn't until late November/early December that the advisor finally informed me of issues with my vehicle--after it had already been sitting on their lot for months. Because of the lack of communication and follow-up, my car remained on their property. Despite this, I was later told about possible storage fees, even though the delays were due to unanswered calls and messages on their end while I was actively trying to move the process forward. When I went to pick up my vehicle, I noticed scratches and an indentation on the passenger side that were not present when I dropped it off. When I asked to see footage to understand what may have happened, Kyle immediately became defensive instead of attempting to resolve the issue. He raised his voice and stated that my vehicle was "not his responsibility," despite it being on his lot and under his care. Kyle stated there was "nothing written" saying vehicles are their responsibility while on his property, yet in the same conversation said he "wasn't the one who looked at the car" and shifted blame to a mechanic. At the same time, he blamed others in his shop for information I had previously been given. The constant deflection and lack of accountability was extremely unprofessional. This situation escalated over $120 for a diagnostic fee, which I had in my hand and was fully prepared to pay. Instead of handling the situation professionally, Kyle continued to raise his voice and speak to me disrespectfully. The way he spoke to me as a woman was unacceptable and not how a business owner should conduct himself. What made this worse is that instead of attempting to resolve the issue privately or professionally, Kyle took to social media and made posts about the situation. Since then, multiple people have reached out to me sharing similar experiences with this shop, including poor communication, long delays, and unresolved issues with their vehicles. I understand that auto repairs can be complex. However, professionalism, accountability, and communication are non-negotiable--especially when a customer's vehicle sits in your care for months. Damage to a customer's car, aggressive behavior, and blaming employees or customers instead of taking responsibility is not acceptable. I genuinely try to support Black-owned and local businesses, but support should never require tolerating disrespect, poor communication, unprofessional conduct, or damage to personal property without accountability. Because of this experience, I removed my vehicle and had it sent to another shop. I'm sharing this so others can make informed decisions.

This is a small used car dealer/repair shop in vestal NY. They have maybe 25 cars on the lot,…read moremostly 3-5 years old. Their webpage was up to date and spot on with the photos, descriptions and the asking prices were the same as the prices given in person. The best part of it was their site was up to date with their stock, a big problem for most of the car dealers I have dealt with over the years. Richard (son of Carlo, who I also met briefly) was very thorough in his presentation of the car, both in it's history, all the work they did to it to ready it for sale (he showed me the invoices!) I am a licensed auto appraiser, and as an occupational hazard I pick out flaws in any cars fit and finish. Richard was telling them to me even before I pointed them out. I've never had a dealer be so honest and up front about a vehicle they were trying to sell. He allowed my wife and I to take a lengthy test drive...by ourselves...so we could put the car through it's paces. He even recommended a place we could each lunch, as we were not from the area. I am an educated buyer, I knew exactly what I wanted and what a fair price would be. The actual negotiation was easy, I made a fair offer and he accepted it. No BS, no tricks, nothing other than "that's fair, I can do that" I've bought a ton of cars in my life, both new and used. This was by far the best purchase experience that I have ever had. I've had the car for just about a month now, had zero issues with it and I could not be happier with the experience. The next time I go shopping, they will be first on my list.

The GM and Service Manager stepped in personally, listened to what was happening, and took ownership of the situation. They didn't make excuses, they didn't pass me around, and they didn't leave me waiting endlessly.
