When Dr. Lindsay saw Sherlock, her advice was for ongoing injections and eventually a daily pill which has totally stopped him from eating himself.......

Dropped my dog off for teeth cleaning at 8:45 am. Called to check on pickup time…read morearound 4:30pm. Was informed 6 teeth needed to be extracted so I okayed it. Asked what time I should pick him up. Was told close to 6:00(they close at 6:00) When I arrived my dog had not recovered from the procedure or from the anesthesia. At 89 it was a struggle getting him in the car and home. Never again will I use this Veterinary clinic. They had all day and chose to put him under this late in the day. All of this and $1900.00 is what it cost me. The poor dog suffered because he couldn't walk, plus he wouldn't open his mouth and they gave me pills for pain which he couldn't take. Conclusion "they are in it for the money only-no caring or concern for my dog"

Been with FVH for 8 years and just moved to a different Vet. I missed an appointment when my wife…read moredied. They didn't know the reason, but they also didn't bother to ask. Then I missed a second appointment for reasons that were my fault. You only get two strikes at FVH. Since then they require me to pay in advance like some kind of bum or they cancel the appointment. And how long will I be in the penalty box? Forever! Also, this "fear free" claim they boast about is none sense. The ask me to sedate my nervous dog before bringing him in. Boy, there's a breakthrough in care ; your pet won't experience fear if he's high as a kite. They even insisted on putting one of my dogs under for a nail trimming! He was sick and woozy all night long. And FVH's response? Take the dog to a pet groomer next time. Lame.

Both recovered wonderfully and are both healthy loving cats! My boy kitty had an eye infection about a year ago and they promptly got him in and gave me medicine for him that would last a while. One of my favorite things about this place is they are always willing to work with my budget while giving the best care they can. I still pay for the things my pets need but they have good affordable options! The staff is kind and explains any and all questions I have pertaining to surgery , medications and care. I've always felt they give my babies the best care possible. Covid precautions have been nice as well, show up, call and then they come out to get your animal. With a small office this has been a major plus. My most recent appt is for a new puppy! They were able to get him in in a week, which is faster than other places! He was tested in another state while we were on vacation for parasites which came back positive, they were willing to receive that information and prescribe antibiotics fast! I love this place, I recommend it to anyone I know with pets. I couldn't imagine having any other vet or trusting another place with my furry family members!

A clinic is not helpful if they advise you to take your let elsewhere for an emergency.
