It was critical to find a kennel that was a good fit for him. We had been using another boarding facility for the past ten years and had been pretty happy with them for most of that time. Due to a detour, I happened to drive by FurrWoods and saw their sign. So, we scheduled a time to take a tour. Oscar was reactive to the owner and staff and was barking and lunging at them. They knew exactly how to greet him and put him at ease. Within minutes, he was comfortable and leaning in for ear scratches. We took Oscar out to the play yards and put him in one by himself. He immediately went to the fence and happily greeted the other pups in the adjacent yard. The play yards here are repurposed astroturf from a football field, and the surface is immaculate. The previous boarding facility has gravel yards and our previous dog would sometimes eat rocks there or be dirty from digging. There are 3 or 4 different yards so they can group dogs by size or demeanor or age to ensure everyone has a positive playtime. The kennels are also very clean! There are only 28 kennels so it is much more peaceful than at a larger facility. They provide trampoline beds and even have slow feeders if you need them, which Oscar does. They have an online reservation system which helps me keep track of my bookings. You can also sign your dog up for an activity such as individual fetch time or a walk in the woods. We have boarded Oscar at FurrWoods several times over the past few months - sometimes just overnight and for as long as two weeks. He LOVES it there!! When we arrive, he pulls me to the door and wants to go straight out to play! This speaks volumes, as Oscar normally has separation anxiety!! When I pick him up, he is clean, happy, and exhausted. Our dogs are both senior black labs and have developed their own individual behavior characteristics. Carol was able to tune in immediately to our dogs at the first meet and greet for evaluation. They were quite glad to see her when she came back for the actual pet sitting period. Carol took good care of our home, brought in the mail and kept everything in order. We will definitely use her service again.

She has an obvious love of cats and I can only assume she also enjoys dogs/other animals. I was particularly pleased with two things: 1. Carol texted multiple photos of our cat and 2. Carol noticed a gas smell in the kitchen and took it upon herself to arrange for the power company to make a visit. They noticed a gas leak in the stove and made sure the gas was turned off to the appliance. Ultimately, Carol was not only a superb cat sitter, she was also a great house sitter! Highly recommended.

They greeted not only me but both my dogs by name (I know for you Internet trolls that they have a computer that tells them that, but I like when a business is professional enough to greet people/pets by name). I kenneled both Romeo (large dog) and Lizzie (medium) at northwest kennels, they both seemed clean and happy after a week under the care of NW kennels. When I picked them up they both were bright eyed and entergized but when I got home they both hit the ground and slept soundly for hours. Stars: I rated them four because a lot of local kennels did seem to include day care free with boarding, northwest didn't. But of all the kennels I called thier staff seemed the nicest/ professional that I talked too. I would recommend nw kennels

She's so soft and smells amazing, and Kati did a beautiful job trimming and shaping her hair so that she kept her natural look, just more manageable and tidy. They had a guest report card for her that detailed her play, where she spent most of her time, and how much she ate. It was very clean and quiet. The place has a great vibe and you can tell everyone there cares about the cats that are visiting. You can bring your own food if you prefer to. I would definitely feel comfortable leaving her here again and would recommend Cat Nap Inn to friends and family. I had previously boarded at a veterinary clinic, and this was much less stressful for both me and the cat.

I'm SO GLAD we found this place! Kortney was so sweet & accommodating. She was very reassuring but what reassured us the most is the way she loved our dogs like they were her own. I never had to ask for updates because she updated us daily with the cutest photos and videos. I know in her hands our girls were not only safe but having the time of their lives. They were very attentive to the point where my one dog (Roo) who has been boarded before and would stay in a corner watching other dogs play or by her sister only for 2 weeks in other places even began to trust them in one day. Our french bulldog has some allergies. The Rex team are diligent and don't feed her anything, except for the food we bring. Seems simple, but not all daycares pay attention. The Rex facility is clean with lots of room for our Frenchie to play and rest. We love the Instagram posts and are sooo happy to have found Rex's. We trust our furbaby is having a safe and fun day when she is in Rex's care. When you decide to check it out be sure to take a look at their space dog beds.
