Williams did a great job replacing the cartridge and faucet in our master shower. They took time to find the issue, explain the repair and provided a competitive quote and got the work done on time. RUN!!!! Would NOT recommend this company. I spent over $4,000 on a mainline repair job, then 6 weeks later had another leak in same area on a Saturday. Their website says they are open 24/7 and have same day plumbers. This isn't true. You can only talk to an AI machine on weekends and they wanted $250 just to send someone to look. Keep in mind this was an emergency situation where water had to be cutoff to entire house and they wouldn't send someone to look without agreeing to the $250. Machine said someone would call first thing the next business day since it was an emergency. That call finally came at 11am. Needless to say, myself and a neighbor fixed the problem ourselves and I won't be using Williams ever again. Oh, and I spent $30 on parts! Also, it should be noted that just to get an estimate on a repair, they send a salesman instead and try to up-sale everything. For a simple leak, they wanted me to spend $20,000 to re-run the mainline from meter to house. It's a 20 year old house, so new line shouldn't be needed. They also charge a minimum 1/2 day excavation fee which turned out to be $2,500 for about an hour dig and 30 min back fill. read more

William Plumbing came to fix a leak in kitchen. They could not find leak they told me it was in the dishwasher and disconnected it. This cost me $279.57. When I purchased a new dishwasher $150.00 to have installed they said the pipe was cut no way to connect new dishwasher . I contacted Williams they claimed they just shutoff water valve but had told me I needed a new shutoff and did allow them to install. Root Rutter came out $185.00 installed new adapta T fitting and fixed garbage disposal. They lie and don't have any integrity. They take advantage of their customers and overcharge for destroying your property. read more

Williams was good until they weren't. Had them come out to give estimates on several things around the house, they priced me a disposal which was supposed to fix a specific issue which didn't after it was replaced by them. Was also quoted an outside faucet repair and replacement (the replacement was GREATLY OVER-PRICED; I'll get to that in a minute) we opted for the repair, but the tech couldn't get the water shut off to the house, said it was frozen..mkay. We called the city to come look at the shut off and was told there was no issue with the valve. Called Williams to come out again for the same faucet and asked they don't charge another service call since their tech was mistaken about the shutoff, which they honored (thank you Williams). Faucet was replaced and began to leak 8 days after the repair. We were then told there was no warranty on the repair??? On the estimate the second time out, they wrote in "no warranty", but the first trip when the tech couldn't shut off the water this was not expressed or written on the estimate (thank you Williams for your shady practices). Called Williams to have someone come out and fix the repair only to get ghosted by them for 3 weeks, had talked to 2 different employees and requested to talk to a supervisor/manager with no one ever returning a call. At that point we called another pluming service and had the faucet REPLACED FOR HALF THE PRICE and have not HAD ANY ISSUES SINCE. We have used the new plumbing service and are much happier. read more

We had water going into the closet next to the shower in our master bathroom. We had the same thing happen several years ago in a different house. Williams was very professional and prompt. Troy was very personable and professional. However, the quality of the fixtures which we bought from Williams may not have been new and were not 100% properly installed. The cover on the shower handle is not flush and water is seeping behind and possibly into the wall space. And I just noticed that the wall plate is scratched! I'm disappointed. Replace leaking cut off valve behind refrigerator plumber came out tracking fresh cut grass on my carpet it was raining. He wore no booties I had the refrigerator pulled out for him. He gave me a price of $200 plus and I had to sign for it. He went to work. Shortly he came out from the refrigerator and somewhat yelled you have copper pipes he picked up his tablet and showed me that it would be another 300+ dollars due to copper pipe I had to sign for that too. I have since learned this job should've ccost around $200-$250. He told me they use an estimating software that sets the price. When I was living out of state and managing my rental property in Tulsa, I called around for quotes regarding a collapsed line in my backyard under a concrete slab covered by a wooden deck. Williams not only gave me a competitive price (I don't recall exactly but it might have been the best price) but they were the only plumbing company willing to take out the deck gently and reinstall the boards when they were done. Now it's been 4 or 5 years and the house has a leaky drain in the crawl space so I will definitely be giving them a call. Terrible Experience! We had two issues. Our issues started with a pinhole leak in our hot water heater closet wall plumbing that was apparently leaking for a while. Once we noticed, the water had flooded the hot water heater and that also needed repair or replaced. The plumber repaired the wall plumbing and said he could replace the gas control (instead of replacing the hot water heater). This was the lower-cost option, so we decided this was our best option. However, after "repairing" the plumbing issue, he left us with another (bigger!) leak because he did not tighten the fittings properly. He came back the next day to fix his mistake and said he would have the part for the hot water heater control overnighted. 7 days later (and without hot water in our house!) he still didn't have the part and wasn't sure he could get it, so we were left with installing a new hot water heater. The Williams quote was about $5000 for a new hot water heater. After sharing this information with some friends, we realized this was a very high quote. I decided to request several more quotes using the Yelp app. Yelp sent my info to 5 plumbers and 3 out of the 5 replied with estimates that ranged from $1800-$2200. After looking at our unit, the overall final price was a little higher but, we have a 'not so standard size/type' water heater (we understood the difference in the type we have in our home and we're reasonable people!) Still, we still saved almost $2000. We also learned that the Williams plumber had actually installed another part of the plumbing incorrectly preventing our 'instant hot water' line from working properly. This should have been a 'no-brainer' for the plumber as the part actually has an arrow to show how to properly install! Price gouging at its finest. We had water coming up through our LVP flooring in our kitchen. It was not obvious where the water was coming from and after I'd done all the obvious checks to make sure the water supply to the dishwasher and ice maker in the refrigerator wasn't leaking , or the dishwasher drain wasn't leaking or any obvious leaks from the sink drains etc, I determined that the leak must have been originating in the wall, probably from either a drain pipe or water supply line. I contacted Williams Plumbing and they sent out a two-man team to investigate where the leak might originating. The service call was $110 and I was fine with that. They had to create 3 holes through the drywall in 3 different areas of the kitchen, (behind the dishwasher, behind the refrigerator and in the wall beneath the sink) to see where the leak was originating. They found wetness, but it still wasn't clear to them where the leak was. It wasn't until I stuck my arm up into the first hole cut and discovered wetness above the hole thus leading me to think that the drain pipe from the upstairs was the culprit. They then confirmed my suspicions by using a camera probe. I should mention that if they had done the same thing I did before cutting the the other two holes they would have discovered the same thing and it would have been unnecessary to cut the other two holes. And of course their "repair" does not include fixing the holes they make. So that's an additional expense I have to incur. They drew up a proposal to fix the leak and the quoted price was nearly $800. They required me to sign that in order to authorize the work. It seemed like a pretty high price but I didn't really know how much work was involved to fix this so I signed it. The next day the 2-man crew arrived and 30 minutes later the fix had been made. It required that they cut a small section of drywall out of the wall in the bathroom (yet another thing they don't fix after the plumbing issue is fixed) so that they could gain access then cut out the cracked Y-connector in the drain pipe coming down from the upstairs. Once that was removed, they replaced it with a new Y-Connector (about a $15 part) and three flexible couplings to connect the Y-connector to the three pipes (about $6 each). So do the math... 2 guys, 30 minutes and about $50 in parts = about a $700 bill. I have no complaints with the quality of work but the pricing for this quick repair was absolutely outrageous. When I called the company to discuss this I was given no satisfaction but simply told that I signed the contract with full knowledge of what the repair cost would be. However I can assure you that if the repair contract had included the line "the repair will take 30 minutes for which you will be charged $700" I would not have agreed to sign. Be forewarned, they do not charge an hourly rate. They charge a job rate and if the job takes a fraction of the time the book says it should take, you pay the full price. I will never use Williams plumbing again. read more

Called Williams to clear a clogged drain. The technician came out and ran the snake and said it was fixed, but the drain was backed up again the next day. When I called them back they said they would have to charge me to come back and run the snake again. Also, they wanted to charge me $2,400 to install a completely unnecessary second cleanout in my backyard. I called Roto Router who quickly cleared the clog and I haven't had any issues since. I will not be using Williams in the future. read more

Very dissatisfied. My wife called for plumbing issues. Plumber that showed up didn't show any numbers in writing, all on tablet, scrolling back and forth, very confusing. When asked about adding box around washer/dryer lines, said he could add and wouldn't be much more. After finished with 1.5 hours labor for box, added additional $705 and part was $50. Williams Plumbing replaced my kitchen faucet on 1/6/21 with a Delta that I purchased at Home Depot (charged $336.38) and over the course of a few weeks it came loose. I called today on 2/8/21 to ask them to come out and fix it and they were going to charge me $110.00 service call because it was a customer supplied faucet with a warranty on the work of only 5 days. Sorry, Williams, that won't work for me. Plus, I was supposed to be first appointment that morning and the plumber didn't show up until 11:00 am. Oh well! Time to find another plumber. read more

I'd had to call Williams Plumbing out multiple times over the last few years for my sewer backing up. They have always been friendly, reliable and professional but this time Trevor went above and beyond and offered a no fee camera inspection. We found out the tap from my line to the City's newly updated main line hadn't been made flush, so a piece of debris had gotten stuck and was causing my issues. Williams' lead foreman, Stephen, contacted the City whose crews actually came out the next day, dug up the line, and resolved the issue at no additional cost to me! During flooding in Tulsa, I got water in my basement. At first I thought my gutters had stopped up and caused water to get in my basement. Then i saw the lawn guys had made the downspout drain to my basement. I called and within 30 minutes someone was at my house helping me. The leak guy got the unstop the drain out and my immediate water problem is solved. They gave me an estimate for a new hot water heater, but told me to let my hot water heater dry some more and maybe it would work again. The unstop the drain guy gave me advice on keeping my basement drain healthy. All three guys couldn't have been nicer. They are not cheap, but the fave me pricing prior to doing anything. read more

I was charged for new parts and a service call to repair my leaking faucet The faucet leaks a lesser amount of water now...but still leaks After installing the new parts the plumber highly recommended that I do not use the faucet "at all" until I have the entire system replaced So basically I spent a couple of hundred dollars for nothing! It is important you understand the Williams service model because you will be nickel and dimed and may have to wait weeks for a complete fix. In my experience, Williams never has a full-service plumber. Instead, they have plumbers that only specialize in certain kinds of problems and repairs. When you first call, you'll get a basic technician that will cost $110. In my experience, that person can only fix the most basic of plumbing issues (clogged drain, clean a pea trap, etc). If the problem is at all complicated, that technician will not be able to fix it, and will have to call another plumber that will incur another charge (minimum of another $200). That plumber will be specialized and if the problem is not within their expertise, yet another plumber will have to be called (and you'll probably have to wait a week before they can show up) and that will incur another charge. They will also try to get you to pay hundreds of dollars for repairs you don't need. When my kitchen sink was backing up, I paid for the basic technician ($110). He couldn't fix the problem and said I needed a water jet to clean the drain, but I would have to wait nearly a week for that service. Quoted cost for the water jet - $400+. When the water jet didn't work, I was told I needed a plumber with a camera (because for whatever reason the water jet plumber doesn't do cameras). The camera guy wouldn't be able to show up for *another* week and would cost an additional $200+. Williams said it was likely I had a collapsed sewer line that would cost thousands of dollars to fix. I called another plumber who found and fixed the clog within 20 minutes and charged me $150 to fix it. When I called Williams to complain, I was told a manager would get back to me. Over 24 hours passed with no call back. Only after I called back again was I finally put in contact with a manager. Completely unprofessional and poor service. read more

Showed up in a mask, very courteous. We had multiple drain issues with tree roots and old cast iron pipes. Our technician, Derek, did a great job explaining our best options as well as spelling out big picture and what we'll be facing down the road if our cast iron pipes aren't replaced soon. He was realistic, yet did his best to get our drains working for now. Poor guy spent hours at our house and had to pull tree roots out of our drain from the roof vent. Had a slab leak in hot water pipe and felt good about calling Williams, since I see their vehicles a lot even in my neighborhood. The leak technician located the leak and said it would be around $4500.00 to repair it below the slab, but said the better value would be to rerun hot water lines in the attic with pex, and it would cost $11,075.00. My wife and I thought about this for a couple days, because of the expense and decided to have hot water lines rerun through the attic, and avoid future slab leaks. They told us it usually takes two days and I originally thought it involved more labor and more expensive materials. Well stupid me, pex is much cheaper and easier to work with than the copper piping we have. Two young men completed the job in about 6-7 hours. They were good working young men and I do not think my house was too difficult for them to re-pipe. They even left my house for a an hour an a half to attend a company dinner. So two men with 14 hours of labor and maybe $1,500.00 materials, and my price tag of $11,075, Williams plumbing has a extremely high markup. Its no wonder they do not provide a detailed invoice. Derek, the field supervisor did lower the price to $9,575.00, which is still very high. There were a few issues which I am taking care of myself, so it was not a flawless job for the price tag. I just opened and starting reading reviews on Yelp, and noticing many bad reviews about Williams Plumbing, especially pricing. While the quality of the work seems fine there is a real disconnect with the customer. We have used Williams Plumbing previously so I thought it would be an easy go to get small kitchen sink repair of a new strainer installed and shut-off valved to the dishwasher. The work was being done at my house where my elderly mother and father live. The tech did not review the amount with my father prior to completing the work and did cursory description of what he was going to do. Work was completed in under 1.5 hours, including a run to the part store. Bill was $437.45!!! Tech as leaving said the amount seems high.... that is what the system says. Immediately Phoned Williams to discuss the bill. The service assistant said all she could do was push it up the chain to management to review. They would phone me Tuesday. Have not heard from them yet. The amount is double what I would expect. Was not informed of the amount prior to completing the work, and they don't seem interested in correcting it. Very Frustrated! UPDATE: After two discussions with a account service staff the charges did not get resolved to my satisfaction. They would only remove the initial service charge of $110.
