The hardest part of having any pet is the end. I cannot express the gratitude I feel towards Dr Ryan and his staff for the compassionate and peaceful experience I had putting my Cookie dog to sleep. This is a great local clinic! I brought my pup here for the first time today (03/17/2021), and it was great! My dog was here for immunizations and a checkup. I would not recommend taking your dog to this vet, unless you have a cute little puppy, or maybe a very old dog, or maybe even a cat, but don't take a strong, healthy dog here as Dr. Ryan is afraid of a dog that barks at strangers. I took my pregnant french bulldog for an exam and when he entered the room she did not like him, he then just reached out to pet her instead of offering to let her smell his hand or try to introduce himself in some way. When she barked more aggressively at him he took her by the leash and pulled it tight around her neck, saying he wanted to take her out of the room away from us, and when she resisted him pulling her leash, he then lifted her off the ground by her neck saying she needed to learn manners, at which point I said we'll take her to a different vet and picked her up, he said we wouldn't be charged, and we better not be, seeing as how all he did was abuse our pregnant dog. Instead of a payment he is lucky it is not a law suit he's receiving. read more

Took our pup in to be spayed, and the whole staff was wonderful through the whole process. She's our baby so I was naturally nervous. She spends 24/7 with us so leaving her wasn't an easy thing to do. When we came to pick her up, she was recovering at the front desk with the staff. You know, I don't usually write bad reviews. Obviously, certain individuals have had good experiences with this clinic. I can only review my personal experience with Dr Jacoby however, and it isn't good at all. It seems to me that the moment you try to bring up an issue that you might have with this clinic, their attitude towards you makes a quick 180. Long story short, the communication just isn't there. This office expected us to know things regarding the care of our newly diagnosed diabetic cat that I doubt many people handling such a thing for the first time would know. When my wife brought our cat in for a checkup, there were charges at the end of the visit that were NEVER discussed or agreed to. When we tried bringing this up to them they immediately became rude and defensive. This morning, when I expressed frustration that the office didn't reccomend a new box of insulin syringes when we picked up our second prescription of insulin, the doctors exact words were "that's like getting mad at the Ford dealership for not telling you that you need a full tank of gas". Bottom line, you never speak to customers this way. He was extremely rude, condescending, and wouldn't even let me finish a complete sentence. He told us to seek care elsewhere, just due to the fact that I brought up an issue I had with his office in a clear, professional, and honest manner. We are all adults here, but at this clinic it's more like the high school playground with Dr Jacoby playing the big tough jock protecting his cheerleader girlfriends when the band geek asks for his homework back. Seem like an over dramatized analogy? Maybe, but it's pretty darn accurate. In conclusion, if you feel that you'll NEVER have an issue to discuss regarding their customer service or care of your pet, by all means trust them. Dont ever bring any issues up though, because you'll see the quickest attitude shift ever. **update** After reading the response to my VERY honest review, I feel even more comfortable with the words that I wrote. The blatant lies that are written here in their defense are frankly laughable. When the receptionist offered to call around to see of she could find an alternative source, I (on multiple occasions) thanked her. At no time was I verbally abusive, and I at no time "blamed" the clinic for this issue. I very clearly and professionally expressed my frustration with the lack of communication on two different occasions when dealing with their clinic. Facts: At no time when dealing with a customer or client to you say "I dont want to hear it". At no time when dealing with a customer or client do you hang up on them. At no time when dealing with a customer or client do you charge or invoice an amount that was not previously disclosed, discussed, or agreed to. In conclusion, I can't stand when a person that is given a position of any power, be it a doctor, politician, or even a general contractor, uses this position to speak to people any way they want. Being that this I one of the few veterinary clinics in the area, they clearly feel that they don't need to listen to OR agree with any customer concerns or frustrations. These aren't the type of businesses that I would recommend. Issues do inevitably arise, and it's how you address them as a business owner that shows how much you really value each and every customer. Might be the best Vet Clinic ever existed. Extremely attentive, honest and really caring people. I had to stop by their clinic in January while moving across the country with my family. My dog woke up in a never seen before frantic and painful mode, could not stop howling and pacing around at the airbnb in Flagstaff. She needed immediate care so I called every vet and animal hospital in Flagstaff, during normal business hours. When explained the situation at hand, none of these clinics would accept to see us as a walk in. 1 star to all the uncaring Flagstaff vet clinic. Then we found the next town en route, Williams and called Williams Animal Clinic. What a gem of a place! Needless to say, I was worried about the service and the bill I would get at any vet I walk in as a one time emergency customer. I had no need to worry. Being a dog owner for a decade in NYC I visited numerous vets until I found our regular doc, whom I visited for 7 years. In just one visit to Williams Animal Clinic, I got to see how a great vet clinic worked. Everything was explained to me by the doctor and the nurse, they printed out exam reports of their findings and assumptions, printed out info packets on the medication my dog uses and recommended supplements, as well as giving me prescriptions since I would not be able to visit them again. They did not even stick me a big bill with unneeded items. Remind you, I was a one time emergency customer. I wish this place was close enough to be my regular vet clinic. In the meantime, if you are around here, go to this clinic with no worries and full confidence. These people are respectful, loving and caring. Infinite gratitude! Thank you. read more

My 16 year old cat YoYo's leg.. My 16 year old cat YoYo's leg went out on him one morning. He was howling and crying and hissing. My husband and I were both panicked. We were new to the area and didn't know where to call. We took a chance and made an appointment at Williams Veterinary Clinic. The staff, and the doctor were so amazing. The kept us calm and they let us be present with our loved one throughout the whole ordeal. Everything was explained clearly, priorities were discussed on how to make our YoYo kitty feel better quickly. They weren't annoyed that our cat was completely unruly to the point of not being able to examine him. They sedated him safely and allowed us to never leave his side. They even allowed us to be involved with his care and sit with him, turning him over during his sedation while he was examined and while he was coming out of it. We felt useful and I know our baby was comfortable because we were there. The next day YoYo was feeling much better, a bit wobbly, but better. We as pet parents were scared and they calmed us down, we felt helpless and they made us useful in his care. Our experience overall ended up to be very positive. We are both so happy to now have such a loving and caring place to care for our animals. Williams vet is an amazing environment and has an amazing staff. I took in my cat because he stopped eating and they took him in between appointments and did not turn me away because I was just a walk in. The nurses, Traci and Kat, immediately loved on my kitty. They made me feel like he was the most important thing in the world at that moment to everyone. He is the most important to me so it made me feel comfortable right off the bat. Dr. Jacoby gave very clear explanations as to what it could be, and told me to prepare myself for the worst without upsetting me somehow, he just has a way I guess. Passing through by car from CA to PA, the Wms Vet Clinic was very helpful in assisting me in getting my dog Victor to handle long distance traveling by prescribing medication to make him calm down so he would not stand and pant, just lie down & be quiet. I truly expected more from this vet clinic. Our cat has an e- collar (cone) but one day he got it off and he lost it. We frantically called our local vet in Williams for a replacement cone. This was an emergency because we knew that he would tear up his tail. The women I talked to over the phone said they didn't have any cones small enough and referred us to pet stores 30 minutes away. I quickly ended the conversation because at this point my cats tail was gushing blood. We rushed him to this vet and as we arrived the women at the desk didn't greet us, quickly I tried to explain our situation. I was on the tip of my toes with my fur baby's blood all over my arm, but she seemed to move casually as she grabbed our file. Finally a very kind nurse, Tracey, came and brought my cat to the closest examination room and got right to work. She also found a small e-collar, despite what the lady on the phone had claimed. After my cat scratched me in the process of cleaning the wound, Tracey tended to me very quickly and calmly, letting me know what types of medication she was putting on my scratches. We did get the help we were looking for but ALL thanks to this fantastic animal loving nurse, Tracey. The other workers don't seem like they really care for our animals, thank you Tracey! read more
