I yelled, "do you see the red light?" and kept walking. A white man inside the car yelled after me, "are you a cop?" He then began yelling homophobic slurs at me: "f*ggot," "come take it up the ass," "why don't you suck my dick?" as I continued to walk up 3rd Avenue. I want to also note that there was a black man in the car (maybe another employee) who was not involved and tried to de-escalate the situation by telling the guy to calm down at one point and waving at me to keep going.
