Do not go here! I should have read the reviews before I scheduled an appointment. They were quick…read moreto see me, but did not inform me that they would not be able to give me a cleaning until 7 months later! The staff was friendly and did to a full set of x-rays. I went ahead and scheduled my cleaning for 7 months later, which seems insane. My biggest issue is that the Aspen Dental billing department billed the wrong PO Box for my insurance provider, so my claim was denied. After many phone calls and investigation on my part I discovered what had gone wrong. The various customer service reps I spoke with from Aspen Dental were not that helpful and seemed unable to accept that they had billed the wrong PO Box, which is why my claim was "denied". When I went to my insurance provider's website they didn't show that a claim had even been submitted (because Aspen Dental didn't properly submit the claim). I went ahead and paid what I was charged because I was worried that my bill was going to be submitted to a collections agency, since it was taking so long to resolve this issue. Literally a week later Aspen Dental finally submitted my bill to the right PO Box and my insurance company paid the amount due. I patiently waited to see if I would be issued a refund. Now almost 2 months later I had the motivation to reach out to Aspen Dental again to see if I was going to get a refund. The helpful customer service agent infomend me that they had issued me a credit on my next service. I asked for a refund instead and luckily he seems to be able to do that without issue. We'll see if the refund shows up or not. I can not handle having to call them again! I've spent probably 5+ hours on the phone with this company trying to resolve their mistake. I have scheduled my cleaning at a different dentist office and will not be going back to Aspen Dental.

I…read moredidn't think I needed to tell them I need a cleaning because they knew I hadn't seen a dentist for over 6 months but when I went, they did X-Rays which I was confused about because I just did X-Rays 6 months ago and a dentist told me it should be once every 5 years. They never asked about my past dental history or told me what they're doing at all. The X-Ray was extremely painful and I started gagging and the lady had to ask someone else to come help. Then I got lead into a different room with someone else I didn't know and they still didn't tell me what's going on. Lastly, they told me little to no information about why I needed a $900 appointment so I said no and went to a different dentist immediately. How are they still in business??

The…read moreoffice really is nicely appointed, and the front desk staff were helpful, thorough, and congenial. If you like to have a big TV crammed in your face at the dentist, you're sure to have that wish fulfilled, too. If you like an "expert" dentist who makes all of your decisions for you, Dr. Hohlen fits the bill. However, if you feel it's your own responsibility to be informed and say yea or nay to the chemicals and treatments being put into your own and your children's mouths, this may not be the dental practice for you. Although I went in asking nicely about facts from a systematic review article, I felt pressured and felt that my voice (and the evidence) carried little weight. Next, (and this could happen anywhere, I guess) a dental hygienist called my (young!) son by the wrong name while ushering him back to a chair and waving me off as if there was no need for me to follow. We quickly sorted out the misunderstanding, but I'm glad my son didn't end up getting whatever treatments were on "Sam"'s chart! Then, I was not impressed with his manner as he brandished a large needle aimed for my needle-phobic child's mouth. I felt his manner was not suave; granted, it is hard to be suave when you're holding a large needle. But he looked at me as if he expected me to control my child into not freaking. Then he said to my child, in frustration, "You need to do whatever your doctor or dentist says." I'm sure he didn't mean that to sound so creepy. But actually, I'm teaching my children to be informed and take responsibility for their own health. Dr. Hohlen seems to hold an exactly opposite belief. (PS: It all worked out. Dental care was administered, and no lasting trauma.) Finally, he assured me that a service would be billed as "this", because "he's hoping to take care of my teeth for a long time to come," and when the bill came... it was billed as "that." This could be as simple as a miscommunication between the doc and the staff who do the billing, but still not cool. He is young, and people do learn and grow. I hope a few years from now it'll be a different story. But I wanted to write this for the information of people who do want to take responsibility for their own health choices.

A month later, it was causing sharp internal pain and sensitivity to cold. When I went back in, he gave it a 30-second glance, did a bite test, and immediately blamed my bite -- no X-ray, no cold test, no real effort to investigate. When I explained the pain felt internal, he cut me off with "Oh, you don't trust the professional?" -- arrogant and defensive from the start. I calmly tried to understand what he was seeing because it felt like we weren't even on the same page. Instead of a conversation, he kept claiming I was "arguing" simply because I was asking for clarity and solutions for a problem he clearly didn't want to deal with. It got worse when he pulled up a picture of my tooth, pointed to the wrong part, and tried to gaslight me into believing I had told them it was the back, when I'd clearly said the front from the start. When I asked the assistant to confirm what I said, he called me "petty" and kicked us out. Their office coordinator, Haley, wasn't any better. When I reached out hoping for accountability, she told me not to expect an apology since I was no longer a patient. She gave a weak, obligatory apology on their behalf but made it clear she needed to "hear their side" -- as if any part of this was acceptable or up for debate. That kind of leadership sets the tone for a practice, and it shows. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration. This office cares more about ego than patient care, and their professionalism is nonexistent.

I was referred here through a friend and it was a great decision. I've had my braces since October. The first week was awful (it's an adjustment) but they do a follow-up call with you when braces are placed to make sure you are doing okay later in the evening. Dr. Willett was very informative during the initial consultation, including the financial team that explained that process to me and what options for payment there are. She takes the time to get to know each client and explain different procedures/what will occur at each visit--because I am that person that asks alot of questions and wants to know what/why things are being done or happening. They run a pretty strict schedule, so the wait time is usually never very long; They get you in and out in a timely fashion. If you want genuine quality care, Lincoln Orthodontics is a great place to go. I have been so impressed with them. They do alot of customer appreciation events throughout the year as well.

After hustling to get kids from school loaded in the car and driving over we were not able to be seen. All around just very disappointed in the customer service. The receptionist was not very kind and downright rude. If you are considering orthodontists, Please know that they will not have the same respect they give you on your initial intake. After you sign the contract and handover your money. You are stuck with a very lacking follow through. So disappointed!

I tried calling him and left a message but my call was never returned. Having worked in the dental profession for over 40 years, I was able to consult a local oral surgeon and he said my daughter needed to be seen. He treated her and didn't even charge for the weekend visit! My daughter also had an allergic reaction to the hydrocodone that Hershberger gave her so he wouldn't give her any alternate pain reliever for the dry socket. This place is the worst!
