The salt cave was a calm and soothing experience. The "salt cave" environment was really cool and I wanted to decorate a room in my own home similar to it! My husband had no problem falling asleep. I had to poke him a fe times to stop snoring so as not to disturb the others. I don't know if once is enough to really feel any health benefits but I would definitely recommend it to meditate and relax from the hectic pace. Staff were friendly and nice. I went to this place for a hot salt massage and let's face it, who doesn't like a good massage right? Although it was a unique experience, I truly did not find my massage to be all that different or better than the ones I've received in the past. The pressure started off perfect then eased off significantly within minutes. I also found the massage to be much faster than the ones I've received in the past. The strokes were pretty quick on my back, arms and legs. I like a slow stroked-massage with firm pressure. The therapist seemed to be in a rush and finished about 8 minutes before my time. My theory is that if I pay for a 60 minute massage it is REALLY not fair that I receive a 52 minute massage! I won't be back. Enough salt for the day. read more

Took my fiancé here for a hot salt rock massage and it was great but would definitely have liked the hot salt rocks to have been used more. In pics I have seen the rocks down the spine and that wasn't done either. Basically it was your normal massage and then a very light fast massage after it with the hot salt Rock. Was kind of disappointed that my masseuse talked to me about her personal life through my entire 60 minute massage. She was super sweet, but it's really awkward to have to tell someone to stop talking and I didn't want to hurt her feelings, so after trying to hint at it a few times, I just endured it and could never really relax. I love to chat, but not when I'm paying money to do essentially do the opposite. Any other massage I've ever gotten, it seemed to be more of a shared understanding that it's supposed to be a relaxing, quiet experience. The facilities were well kept and everyone was very nice that worked there, it's just considerable money to pay to never get to relax because you're uncomfortable having to tell someone to be quiet. read more

The kind owner is usually there making sure everything is going right. Customers are treated very well, facilities are always clean, and I enjoy all of the different services that are offered. My first experience in a float tank and I wasn't disappointed. Found it to be an extremely relaxing experience and a great way to recover after a good workout. I wish I had found this sooner in my marathon and OCR training! My neck, back, shoulders, and legs are usually always tight and sore, even shortly after an amazing massage or a hot bath. So on the last day four mini vacation my fiancé and I were able to make reservations at the Salt Spa, having never heard of more less been to a spa of this nature. We had researched the info online and found it pretty interesting and decided to try it out. I got the 1 hour Swedish massage (at a very reasonable price might I add) and she booked a 45 minute session in the salt cave(she'd been having back problems so didn't want a massage). We arrived a little early for our appointment and found even the waiting area to be extremely tranquil and relaxing. My fiancé prepared for her session by removing her shoes and storing out personal belongings in a locker provided by the spa. My massage therapist came down to get me and then took me up to the room and told me what to expect during the massage. I got undressed and settled in for the most relaxing hour Ive had in a very long time, if at all. When the massage was finished I met my fiancé in the lobby where she told me her session was amazing. We were so satisfied with our experience we even purchased some body scrub salts and a foot massage kit. If you want a relaxing day in Williamsburg this is the place to go. read more

We were a group of five and we kinda crowded the place since it is small but enjoyed ourselves. The 3 star is due to the lack of quiet while in the salt cave. The cave is beautiful and well done however we could hear the front reception folks almost the entire time. I booked single session for myself in the salt cavern which was $25 in a group setting. I arrived early as suggested by the scheduling person. This gave me plenty of time to take off my shoes and put my own sock on, in the locker/waiting area. The place looks cute on the outside (like a snow cabin in Tahoe) and looks totally charming on the inside as well. It reminds me of Tatry Mountains in Poland. The ladies at the front desk were very welcoming and instructional before the session started. You are welcome to use ear plugs, but I rather listen to the water fountains in the cavern and take deep relaxing breaths to benefit from the salts. It was super relaxing and I end up falling asleep which was recommended during the instructions anyway. I woke up very gently with the lights being raised when the session was ending. I left feeling refreshed and intrigued to try it again and again. read more

Went to Williamsburg for a week and decided to check out the Williamsburg Salt Spa while we were down there. The place itself is so cool, the salt cave is beautiful and they have all kinds of goodies you can purchase to take home. We booked the last time slot before closing and ended up being the only two in the cave which was nice. It was so relaxing and we left with what seemed like a renewed sense of smell. My skin was so soft afterwards too, it's truly amazing what one session in the cave does to your body. We only encountered one employee but she was super friendly, very helpful and gave us plenty of info on the benefits of salt. Overall it was a great and very unique experience. We visit Williamsburg a few times each year and will be sure to stop in at least once during every visit from now on. read more

Great place to go for therapeutic relaxation. Cave is inviting, comfortable and beautiful. The gravity chairs and blankets are cozy. And the peaceful quiet is a wonderful escape. Bad day at the spa. After treatment, my Zen feeling was quickly transformed into stress overdrive upon finding my coat had been taken. After alerting the front staff, they insinuated I made a false claim even questioning that I had a jacketl. My insistence that they take me serious led to more questions in front if other customers embarrassing and humiliating me and my friends. After friend confirmed I had the jacket with me and another wanted to call police and file a theft report for owner to respond, they took my claim seriously. They made a call to manager/owner, got the security video and proclaimed they saw my coat on me upon arrival. They reviews more footage and observed a person exit with it. No apology to me, no offer of service to compensate for hour wait, wrongful insinuation and public humiliation Just a statement "well in 2 years this has never happened before" so that is they they chose to not take my claim seriously. Even when they convinced person to return coat, they wanted me to drive and get it from perpetrator. Unvelievably bad customer service and worse experience of any spa experience. read more

Really enjoyed the salt cave. I arrived 10 minutes early as advised which gave me time to look at the jewelry, soaps, and salt lamps, then put away my purse and phone in a locked drawer and trade my shoes for booties they provide. When you walk in the cave there are 8 zero gravity chairs, well spaced so you don't feel too close to the other people on the cave. You are given an explanation of what to expect during your 45 minute session. The lights dim and relax and breath, the temperature was perfect, and if you run cooled they provide blankets. I have asthma and I did not have a negative reaction. I was getting a sinus cold and I could definitely feel some relief from the sinus pressure afterwards. I ended up taking advantage of one of they gift shop packages, which included a ceramic Neti pot, fine Himalayan salt, and a small salt lamp :) loved the experience and can't wait to go back to try a message! read more

This place is amazing!!! We did the couples massage for 1 hour and then went into the salt cave. Very unique experience and the folks running it were extremely nice and helpful. The only regret is that I wish I had done it in the late afternoon, we did ours at 130 and I am no good for the rest of the day....sooooooo relaxed and stress-free. I called the day of to try to make A massage appointment for a stiff neck. I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist who fit me in same day. When I arrived, like all other massage places they had some paperwork to fill out. My appointment was at 12:15, they asked me to arrive at 12. The paperwork only took a few minutes to fill out, and I was surprised that the massage therapist, Bryan, was waiting at the desk for me when I returned the paperwork. I've ALWAYS had to wait every other place I've been to. Bryan took me right into the room to evaluate me. The massage was every bit of 90 minutes- not including the evaluation. This was BY FAR the most AMAZING massage I've ever received in my entire life!! The pressure was consistent the entire duration of the massage and Bryan was professional, courteous, and obviously extremely passionate about what he does! I am so happy I found this place- too bad it took this long and after much wasted money on poor massages! They also offer a float tank and a salt cave- pretty neat place I can't wait to go back!! Prices very reasonable as well and NO sales pitches!!! read more
