We have been without a refrigerator for a week and a half. Frans came out right away, said he'd try to find a part and we didn't hear from him until late yesterday afternoon basically saying the fridge is a lost cause. We thought it well might be, but because it was an expensive retro look that matches our oven, we hoped it could be repaired. In December 2014, we had Frans come out to fix our freezer. It wasn't opening. He came out, super nice and friendly, and he did make the freezer open, but in the process, broke a bar. He said he'd order a replacement part and it'd take awhile because our fridge was old (2011). We called nearly every month for 2 years before giving up. Fast forward to January 14, 2021 and he comes out to repair our oven and washing machine (we believe in second chances and supporting local). He said parts needed to be ordered for both and that because of the pandemic it would take awhile. We call for updates starting in March, with NO calls back! We left various messages without a single returned call before finally switching to a new provider last week, very disappointed I haven't had a working oven or washer since December-- will never recommend him. read more

We have used Franz multiple times over the past several years. He has always been prompt for both the initial visit and the return visit with the part. Once when we came out to fix our washer, we mentioned the faucet which the washer was hooked up to was leaking and we would have to call a plumber. Fast, prompt and genuine. My fridge died and the soonest other companies could come out to look at it was 5-7 days. Until I called Williamson Appliance. Same day service and he arrived right when he said he would. He was courteous and made sure he didn't leave any messes behind. He even gave us next day repair service when he had to order the part. Nice enough man, not so sure about his work though. We called for a dishwasher repair. He came out Thursday, arriving late he had given us a 12-2pm window, arrived at almost 3:00. He spent about 20 min and said he would have to order the part. After he left, there was a seal/strip of plastic laying on the floor, we didn't worry about it, thought he would put it back on or whatever when he completed the job. He called the next afternoon, Friday, about 4pm and asked to come out to put the part in, we agreed for 6 pm, he showed at 7:20. It took him approx 30 min to finish the job. The part was around $60, total bill was $185. Today I was loading the dishwasher, had the bottom rack pulled out for loading plates, and then I opened the top rack and the entire dishwasher fell forward out of the cabinet, and the seal/strip thing fell out onto the floor! Now we still can't use the dishwasher. I wanted to use a local business but that might have been a mistake. We called him to come back, had to leave a message, so we will see what happens.....at this point, I would not recommend him. And, he did not wear a mask into our home or even offer to! Update, we called him to come finish the repair, he called back and set an appointment and never showed up. read more

Frans was great! Recently, our dryer quit working and Frans was sent out through the DTE appliance repair program. He showed up within the allotted time and even gave us a call to let us know that he would be to our house within the hour. After assessing the problem, he let us know that he would have to order the part and returned within a few days as promised. My son is very interested in finding out how things work and wants to help "fix" everything that is broken. Frans allowed my son to watch him work and even took the time to explain to him the different components of the dryer which meant the world to my four year old. Great service! read more

Horrible service. Had him come out to fix my washer. Said he would have to order the part I needed.Bad mouthed his family while he was there. Way more information than I needed!!!!! Didn't hear from him for a week. Called him back and he said the part would be $99.00 but my husband found it online for $15. We told him to forget it and my husband fixed it himself. Came to our house Sept 10. Frans said he would order the parts and be back in a week. Several weeks went by with no word. I finally got a hold of Frans and he said he was having marital problems and would call me the following week. He never called and never replied to any of my voicemails. It is now Dec 3 and my Thermador warranty expires in a few months. Had to call Thermador and request a new service repair company. The worst customer service imaginable. Unresponsive. Don't let your appliance manufacturer schedule a repair with this company. read more

Absolutely not. Our oven went out in November 2016 we had this company come out and inspect the oven. He came and assessed the problem, said he'd order the part and he never returned! We paid him a $100.00 service call and of course we did not receive that back. When we called his phone number, never once did he answer or return a call when we left a voicemail. It is now January 2017 and we are just now having another company order parts and repair the oven. read more

I scheduled by appointment on Tuesday, May 23rd to fix my fridge that stopped cooling. They were supposed to come out Thursday May 25th between 2-6pm. I took half the day off work, they never showed up and never called. Today is Friday, I have tried calling all morning and nothing! Now I get to wait until Tuesday of next week for another company to come out and fix my fridge leaving me with 5 children on the holiday weekend and no way to cool their food! Not happy! I contacted Williamston Appliance repair at the recommendation of Bosch to fix my dishwasher that was under recall. They took all my information and told me it would take about 2 weeks to get the part. After waiting 6 weeks I made numerous attempts to contact them to get an update and only received an answering machine. After leaving several messages and going through 3 Holidays without my Dishwasher I attempted to contact another Appliance repair company only to find out that Williamston Appliance Repair used my Reference ID to order the part but not come out and install it. This left me with no other choice but to contact Bosch to attempt to get another Reference ID. I have also let Bosch know about the poor level of customer service exhibited by Williamston Appliance repair. read more
