I love the concessions they offer as well as the restaurant quality food they bring to your seats for an unbeatable price! The seats are also some of the most comfortable theater seats you can get, I love when I end up in the auditorium with the heated seats!!! Lastly, the staff, I have nothing but great things to say about them. They keep things running smoothly, keep things super clean and are very friendly and accommodating! It has plenty standing room, however since it's so dated, the bathroom is tiny. Well, the ladies' bathroom stall at least. There is no knee room while using the potty. That's probably the biggest downfall of this theatre. Sure, not too many people make it out to Williamston, but I'd rather go there and spend $20 on 2 tickets, 2 tubs of popcorn, 2 drinks and 2 candies, then just spending $20 on 2 tickets at other megaplex theatres. Also, parking is free. Always a nice perk. They got Alvin and the Chipmunks the Squeakquel opening day, and it is definitely the cheapest ticket for that movie right now. And for what they're charging, you could probably afford to see it twice with the kids.

There are Covid precautions in place and masks are required to be worn at this juncture. The actors and actresses were all members of the community. Quite honestly they were superb. The play was Steel Magnolia's. This story was rolled out and brought out all the emotions that we have-at different times during the play. My nephew was actually the one that told me about the play and when I found out he was interested in going I thought it would be a great opportunity for both of us! There were small breaks between Acts and an intermission halfway through the production. Cookies, water and other small items were available for purchase. Any food and beverage had to be ingested up where it was sold so as to preserve the beauty of the auditorium. I wondered how they were going to do "Steel Magnolia's" as I saw the movie years ago and knew the sad outcome. The way they modified the play encompassed the spirit of the situation without having a death bed scene. I found myself crying anyway. There are a few great things about Art Unlimited that kept me going back. 1) Super friendly staff. I had walked into at least one other pottery painting place before finding AU and being a boy walking into these kinds of places can be awkward. Yeah I'm gay and like to paint pottery, but it's still Michigan so it's still awkward. Anyway, I had a few weird experiences at other places but as soon as I walked into Art Unlimited I felt at home. 2) Super helpful staff. Not only are they friendly but they've got great artistic skill and help bring out the fabulousness in everyone. 3) Fun classes. I took a few of their classes and while priced a bit steep, they were totally worth it. Whether they're taught by the AU staff or by someone else brought in, you'll walk away with some really cool projects. 4) Ladies night! I got accepted into Ladies Night once and it was a blast. They brought in a podiatrist and she can gave foot massages while we painted. oy! Shoooo, what else? I don't know, but I have nothing but great things to say about Art Unlimited. Now they show past favorites as well as newer independent films that may not have made it to the larger theaters. Be sure to check out their website for current showings as they only run for about a week at a time. The historic building has been renovated, though still retains it's classic charm. This place is an old-school haven for movie lovers who don't require the latest 3D effects, enormous screens or stadium seating. Do yourself a favor and take a break from the overcrowded movieplex and check this place out. One last note, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but the popcorn was incredible. It's just like regular movie popcorn, but for some reason I just could not stop eating it. The owner also handed us a bag for the road on our way out of the movie Saturday night. How nice!

I am extremely unhappy with The Common Grounds Festival in Lansing. I will never purchase tickets…read morefor this again. I purchased my tickets for the Megan Trainor concert back in April. I got an email that the concert was cancelled the day of the concert. I was informed they would provide refunds for the tickets. The only problem is the hotel reservation I made was non-refundable. I submitted a request for a refund. I was originally told I would get my refund today. When I noticed that I didn't get my refund today, I called them. They informed me that it could take up to six weeks to get my refund. I spoke to a manager for the festival, she expedited my refund but they charged me a $18.00 fee for the refund. Are you all kidding me? That is just extremely bad business. Wow.
