It needed extensive scraping and some repairs. His estimate was very competitive, includinng pressure washing, prep work , priming, repair and Sherwin Super Williams Super Paint. Chris worked hard to finish in 4 days. He spray-painted the siding and roller/brush painted the columns, window frames/trim, soffets, gutters/down spouts, etc. I am so happy with the results. He was very professional and skillful. He arrived on time and gave us an accurate estimate that he upheld. He suggested an additional area to repaint, BUT he did not pressure us to do so! After we checked that area, we discovered that it really did need to be repainted. We appreciated his expert opinion AND the fact that he was informing us NOT pressuring us to spend more money. We asked him to complete that work, too, as it was needed! We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND him! We will definitely call Chris for any painting we need to have done to our house inside or outside in the future. We are very particular about anybody who does work for us. We are very pleased with the work he did!

The water was running and I had no way to turn it off. A little cursing happened and I went to the basement to turn off the water to the house. After a little bit of a search on 'ye ol' internet I found that our cartridge in our faucet handle went bad. It looked easy enough to do myself so I looked up some videos and found the instructions and got to work. The only hiccup? I needed a new cartridge to replace the broken one. I called Stadium Hardware and spoke to the very friendly Allison who patched me over to plumbing to make sure they had what I needed in stock. Paul helped me out and made sure he had the right item set aside for me. Back to Allison who ran my payment over the phone and I was in my car to pick up the item in minutes. I pulled up to the back and they loaded it in my trunk. Bing bang boom! I was off. And after a bit more cursing, a bit of sweating, and a few false starts our water was back on AND off. FYI -- The store is open to in store shoppers and masks are required. I'm very hardcore about my social distancing due to some vulnerable people in my family so I was really happy to have the curbside pick up option available. Thanks for your help, Stadium!

I should take away a star from Anderson Paint, just for closing the store on William Street…read more Anderson's is the only place I buy paint and supplies if I can help it. They carry the best brands: Benjamin Moore, Graham and California Frescoat. If you follow the coverage of paint in Consumer Reports, California was the highest rated brand last year, and Bennie Moore is always close to the top. They can make your paint job last 10 years, rather than the standard five to seven years. The staff knows a lot about paint. They can tell you what kind to use and how to put it on. They'll warn you about problems you might encounter with the preparation and painting, if you can manage to get to the store when they are not too busy and talk to them about your project. They have a great selection of tools and supplies, and everything is well organized. I never end up wandering around wishing I could find the right thing, which does happen at Lowe's. Yes, the paint sells for $30 to $65 and per gallon, but that's what real paint costs. You can get paint for as little as $16 per gallon at Lowe's, but I wouldn't use their paint outdoors; indoors it can probably hold because it doesn't have to stand up to the weather. Anderson's also has a store on Stadium Boulevard, north of Stadium and Liberty, and that's the store I've been using since they closed the downtown store. But I have been into the Washtenaw store a couple of times and the staff is every bit as good as the other store. They did a good job putting together orders for different kinds of paint, including a couple of tough custom matches.
