I asked if he could look at it and give me a quote on what needed to be done. I waited a few days and called back in which he stated that he had the transmission rebuilt and was working on getting it back in, I was not happy. I received a quote of $5,080.00 for the work done. I had a quote from a different shop for a brand new transmission for $6000.00. I got the car back 3-4 days later and about 2-3 weeks later noticed there was a shudder in which he said on 2 occasions of bringing the car to him that he couldn't feel anything wrong with it, so wife continued to drive the car. The transmission lasted a little over a year and approximately 20,000 miles before it was shifting horribly and lost reverse all together. It was over the warranty period so I didn't even bothalling Kenny's back. We have had to let the car go back as we are still paying on the car and the loan we took out to have the transmission rebuilt, which with the quote I was given after the work was started I wouldve opted for the brand new one. This was and is the worst experience I've ever had with a repair shop.

I believe it was the owner's grandson who did the work, and he did a fantastic job. The work was done correctly, the turnaround was quick, and the price was much better than any other shop in the area. I haven't needed any major repairs since then, but this is definitely my go-to shop whenever I'm in the Cullman area. They are a great bunch of people and, most importantly, they are honest.
