Chuck Callahan was excellent to work with on the retrofit of an old garage with carriage doors that were being removed for the installation of a new overhead lifting door. They are licensed and very professional. Chuck provided a not-to-exceed estimate, communicated well throughout the planning and implementation and had very competent workers on site to perform the tricky retrofit in a timely fashion, working closely with the garage door company. The actual costs came in below the estimate and he billed me the lower amount, which I was very impressed and pleased with. I highly recommend and would gladly use them again.

Specifics below. Specifics: They regularly showed up around 8:30-9:00, took an hour lunch and left around 3:00-3:30. So, about a 6 hour day of actual work. He tried to charge me for full 8 hour days at $50 per hour per person - at least $200 extra per day. They broke an old shovel on my project. Totally admitted that it was an old shovel used on many jobs. But the logic was that because it broke at my house I had to buy them a new one, so they put a $60 extra charge on my bill. What shovel costs that much anyways? They charged me for an extra valve for the bathtub at $150 - now I have two. The drywall was so poorly done I spent a week fixing it up myself - bubbles and ridges everywhere. The door installation was so bad I had to take it out and redo it myself. And finally, he told me the job would take 5 days. I totally understand that that isn't written in stone, but they didn't finish the job for 5 weeks. All in all, a disaster of an experience that I hope others won't have to endure. Recommend looking elsewhere.
