She told me about the Mother's Day flower delivery special Willow was having and I was lucky enough to order and get a delivery spot. The flowers were delivered to my mom's house on Saturday, 5/9. The bouquet is absolutely gorgeous and smells incredible. I was really taken aback at the level of detail and quality of the flowers! You can tell a lot of effort went into arranging the bouquet. The reason I docked a star is because I had requested they notify me with an estimated delivery time so I could ensure my mom was home, but I did not receive any communication of a delivery time. Floral arrangement and assortment is one of the best coming out of central valley! I've ordered from so many different floral shops in Modesto, but this by far delivered some beautiful arrangements that surprisingly is competitively priced. And to top that off a nice legit website to order from. My only call out is having a delivery option available on the site. I had to phone in and learned that orders made online are typically delivered the following day. The lady who picked up, I'm assuming might have been the owner, was nice and friendly. Delivery fees are built into the flowers and I like that better than seeing it after the subtotal. Like no hassle. I think I found my go to shop to deliver flowers for birthdays, sympathy, etc. I hope they continue to have wide range of assortments. From my experience with other shops, it's a very cookie cutter site with less than impressive floral design and assortment and they charge an arm and a leg for. Willow Floral Design be the spot! Horrible customer service/ horrible management. They let their employees run their social media accounts and little does the owner know that because of that they have lost business, at least mine. I was following their Instagram account until one day I wasn't. Found out it was because an employee of theirs blocked my account, along with blocking me on their second account for their truck. To this day I also never knew why. I even emailed the owner but seems to me like this particular employee had access to that too so I never got in touch with the owner. Just terrible. I am very indecisive and Elyse worked with me patiently to put together a color scheme and the right flowers for my woodsy Yosemite wedding. Even after telling me that ranunculus (one of my favorite flowers) were no longer in season, Elyse still managed to sneak a few into my bouquets. What a wonderful surprise! Everything was just absolutely gorgeous, which was such a relief to me since I had a really tough time picturing the flowers ahead of time. We had quite an unusual time frame because of the nature of our destination wedding. We looked into Willow Floral after seeing their work from a wedding on Little Venice Island (google it - gorgeous). They were the first wedding decision we finalized and the only one made without any hesitation because Elyse was so impressive. Out of all my top-notch wedding vendors, Elyse was the best. From our first phone call, I noticed her professionalism, organization and attention to detail. When I told her my relatively small budget, she didn't flinch and actually made all my requests a reality despite the budget limitation. We exchanged many emails to discuss everything, and she took note of each little detail and minor change we made. I was truly impressed with her organization. She even made sure we had the right color for the ribbon on our bride and groom chairs during the wedding ceremony! I live in NY but came to visit our wedding venue in St. Helena a couple months before the wedding. Elyse made it a point to drive 4 hours round-trip just to meet us for 1 hour so that she could familiarize herself with the venue and meet our coordinator. At that point, she even proactively suggested that one of the centerpiece arrangements we had chosen initially may not fit the setting; she suggested a different one that was perfect. On the day of the wedding, I came out for pictures around 1:30 pm to find that she had set up everything without so much as a minor question for me. I loved that she was able to make the executive decisions on the day of and work with the venue to get everything done without needing to check with me. I cannot review the quality of the work done, because I was never able to get that far. First, the website says nothing about requiring an appointment to go to the store, so when I visited during business hours there was nobody there. Once I called and reached the owner we scheduled a meeting and I went in with high hopes. She was very nice and said she would get a quote back to me within the week. The reason for the poor review is based on my experience attempting to get an appointment with this business. I reached out to them to see if they were available for my wedding in April. I contacted them but never heard back. I was very impressed with the pictures I was seeing, so I decided to try and reach them again. I was able to get an appointment scheduled. We showed up bright and early, at the time we had confirmed, only to find that the woman with whom we scheduled the appointment was a no show. Another employee was able to get her on the phone, and she explained that she had forgotten. Mistakes happen, but due to that experience, we decided to go with another business. With wedding vendors, you have to be able to count on them to show up and do what is needed on that special day, and we weren't willing to take a risk with this particular business. The reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is that I was pleased with the tone of the conversation when we spoke on the phone with her. She was apologetic and attempted to reschedule, so I appreciated that about the business. read more
