I'm pretty well impressed with the quality of most everything I saw. There were the usual comfortable looking sofas and recliners. Most striking of all was the large inventory in this old building!I didn't get approached by any sales people ( that's unusual in any furniture store). I subtracted one star because they didn't have what I needed! I'd definitely recommend this place to those seeking nice, new home furnishings!

We have bought a washing machine (several years ago) and a gas range (2020) from Watson's Appliance…read moresection and have been thrilled with both. The washer is a Kenmore series 100. It has no "bells and whistles," which is what we wanted. Our appliance repairman sent us to Watson's when our fancy digital washer died, telling us to get the simplest washer we could find. This Kenmore had a small scratch on the surface which allowed for a terrific decrease in price. Our gas range is a KitchenAid five burner, two oven model. It also had a scratch on its surface. We got it for less than half the price listed. Watson's delivered both appliances as well as a recliner we bought at the same time as the gas range. No repairs needed yet.

I want to preface this review by saying that we've used Carolina Closets for five closets over the…read moreyears, across multiple homes (and we're still waiting on the sixth). When things go according to plan, their craftsmanship is solid and the finished product is something we've been happy with. So why the low rating? The sixth closet was scheduled to be installed two months ago. The installer--who was very professional and pleasant--arrived only to discover that the materials provided did not fit the space due to an incorrect measurement. Mistakes happen, and we were understanding about that. Where the experience really began to sour was everything that followed. We had to initiate multiple follow-ups just to get back on their calendar. Although they did apologize, there was no tangible gesture of goodwill to recognize the mistake or the disruption it caused. Eventually, we were rescheduled for an install two months later, now set for two weeks from today. Despite the job still being incomplete, the final payment was withdrawn from our account a few days ago, which directly violates the agreement we had that payment would not be collected until the work was finished. Bottom line: If everything goes smoothly, you can expect a quality finished product. But based on our experience, if anything deviates from plan, communication, follow-through, and customer care can fall short.
