If there were 10 stars I would give them all to this salon. Gina and Amanda are angels and brilliant at what they do. After having a brassy hair dye done to my sew-in extensions, these ladies accepted me as a last-minute appointment to fix the problem. They were able to turn my orange brown highlights into a beautiful shade of warm brown that complemented my complexion in no time. Love it here! I have been looking for a new salon that I could trust with my blonde hair since I moved to Manayunk in 2017. I have been to David about four times now and I always leave happy! He always gives me his honest opinion on my hair and I trust him to do whatever he thinks is best with it. This place is amazing! It's so beautifully decorated and quaint. I'm always nervous about going into salons because I can't stand an atmosphere that is snobby or comes off unfriendly. This salon is the complete opposite. Everyone is so friendly and the atmosphere is so warm. It's super clean & they've taken every precaution due to COVID-19. So I've never colored my hair before in my 32 years. I found Marissa by way of searching for a good stylist and colorist. She was super friendly before I met here and even got me in within a few days even though she's booked out for at least awhile I'm sure. I really had no idea what I wanted, but I showed her a couple of pictures and she did the most amazing, beautiful job on my hair. I couldn't have asked for more. I had a GREAT experience at this salon. David was my stylist and even though I was rather easy breezy and not to definite on what I wanted, he pulled it off really well. I went in wanting a brown to gray ombre with the attitude of "stylist knows best" and I'm GLAD I did. I have extremely long hair and I was there for a LONG time lifting color but it was no bother at all. Everyone was very nice to me and David worked me in (I went over the time I had scheduled since my hair is so long) when other customers came in for appointments but I never felt like I was ignored at all. My hair came out a beautiful golden and silver ombre and while I had originally thought I wanted a drastic dark to gray this was SO MUCH better than I imagined. I'm so happy I trusted Daivd to do what he does best. I have received so many compliments on the color and even the cut he gave (I'm not very willing to cut my long hair so he shaped it perfectly)! I will definitely be back for haircut, toning, and after care! I was shocked by the great price as well! I had asked around other salons and some people refused me, saying my hair would never get what I wanted (without seeing me) or that it would be upwards of $400 to cover the bleaching and dying PLUS haircut. Love this place and my stylist Ashley!! I know I can always walk out of the door feeling beautiful and pampered by her! My schedule at work is pretty hectic so I sometimes need to move around my appointments and even though they are so busy they always find a way to work with my schedule to get me in. I can tell other clients feel the same way because as I am waiting for my hair color to sink in I look around and see all of the relationships the stylists build with all of them. I already knew I was getting my wedding hair and make up done by their amazing stylists/artists! However, I had no idea where to get a spray tan... A few people told me to set up an appointment with Hayley Clancy. I am so happy that I did! I'm a very self conscious person and not only did she make me feel totally comfortable but my spray tan was awesome! The tan was smooth and even and exactly what I wanted, not orange at all! Greatest salon experience I've had. My hair is extra long and thick and most salons have me stand so They can cut my hair but Angel accommodated my needs without making the experience uncomfortable. You can express your needs and concerns without any products being pushed on you. Such a beautiful atmosphere too! If I could leave more stars I would. This was to be my first visit to this salon. I made my appointment online over 1 month ago. As the day of the appointment arrived, I received a text message and an email asking me to confirm my upcoming appointment, which I did. On the day of the appointment, I arrived on time . The sign on the door said Willow and June and a note indicated that one was to ring the buzzer for entry. The storefront appeared dark but there was a single light on so I assumed that the salon was located on another floor, or in the back. I rang the bell repeatedly to no avail. I then called the number on my confirmation email which rang and rang and eventually went to voicemail. I left a message saying I had arrived for my appointment and waited for a return call. I tried calling back, but it again went to voicemail. A return call never arrived. Feeling rather foolish just standing there, I left. The appointment was for 9am. It is now 6 pm and still no return call, email or text message. Such excellent business practices will ensure that I will never darken their doorway again. Not even sure that the address on the confirmation was correct. 0 stars. read more

I love Le Chandelier. I stumbled upon the salon when I first moved to the area a few years ago. From the outside, it looked cute and clean, so I gave it a try and have been going back ever since. The team at Le Chandelier is both friendly and accommodating. Upon arrival, you are greeted warmly and offered something to drink, and I have never had to wait more than a minute or two for my appointment to start. I have only had my hair cut, so I cannot speak to other services. But I leave happy each time I visit, which is most important. The only downfall is you cannot tip on a card, so don't forget cash. read more

Le Chandelier is an amazing salon! I brought my entire bridal party and family members here for my wedding (it was named Blush Salon then, but still the same great staff!). Everyone had amazing friendly personalities. The owner, Angel, was a pleasure to work with, and they had 14 of us in and out with time to spare. I was most impressed by their knowledge and skill with everyone's varying hair types. My sister in law has extremely curly hair and they completely transformed her look with a blowout (her husband didn't even recognize her at first :-) ) We had everything from up-dos to blowouts to curls for kids and adults along with makeup. Everyone's hair and makeup lasted through a summer wedding with lots of dancing. I've since been back for a hair cut and blowout and always leave extremely pleased.
