Towards the end of our the entire complex seemed to be section 8 housing. People who didn't live in the complex were using amenities that only Avalon occupants are allowed to use. This made parking insanely difficult. As far as parking, they only give one spot per apartment but make you pay for all vehicles you have registered thru them. Why am I paying for parking if I can't find any spots or have to always park on a guest spot? While living there, they renovated the clubhouse so the gym and lounge areas weren't able to be used, the BBQs weren't working but they kept charging us. There are a lot of hidden fees and our monthly rent was never the same cost. BEWARE. STAY AWAY!

She has a great eye for design and will work with you to create a room with the look you want. She cares deeply about her work and takes a personal interest in her clients. She wants each room to look perfect and also to reflect her client's vision. Carol is great with color and will deliberate between different shades of white when I never even knew there was a difference. But it does always make a difference when she chooses the color and it's just right. She has helped me order a custom sofa that fit exactly into a small space and found me the perfect TV console to fit in my small room. She has great resources and works with very talented people. She has helped me with window treatments and rugs that work in each room. She arranged for my vintage dining room table and chairs to be refinished and helped me choose the chair covers and stain for the table to coordinate with the rest of the room. She also took my old dresser and had it refinished and then transformed my guest room to coordinate with it in style and color. Carol is so easy to work with and she is incredibly knowledgeable. She communicates regularly and always follows up. The best part is that she educates as she works with you and doesn't judge you. She will listen to you and then make suggestions and explain why she makes those suggestions. She is also very aware of budget and will work within your budget to create the look you want. I wanted privacy but did not want to sacrifice the light streaming into the apartment. I contacted Metro Solar to discuss the idea of a frost film for the windows. They were so helpful: they had a number of recommendations, visited the apartment to see what might work the best, got an estimate to me very quickly and then scheduled the job on a date that worked for me. They not only did the frost-film with a 3/4" clear frame, but suggested a clear security film (making the windows harder to break) to go under the frost. In the wall air conditioners, heat that is just on or off (heat included in rent), parking very far from front entrances, shared hallways where you have to smell other tenants food cooking (curry gross!) and listen to their loud conversations.
