After a week of just waiting and still nothing so I emailed her back requesting all services to be canceled...she did reply with an excuse that her brother passed and she would refund my co pay is i still wanted to cancel all services....fast forward to the day of my next apt n her portable shows that my apt was a late cancel/no show which is insulting since I have emails requesting that to be canceled with a 7 day notice....if ur looking for good care look elsewhere.

I first entered St Davids Medical Center Down Town Austin Texas on about 6/11/2026 to ER at about…read more3:00 AM Was admitted to 4 East. I was found to have 2 lumbar Compression fxs. by cat-scan. The Hospitalist that first saw me on 4 east was extremely rude in her manner. I can take rude but she failed to referr me to an orthopedic doctor for my acute fractures. She failed to order a TLSO brace to prevent the progression of the compression fractures. Some doctor who I never met decided I needed Kyphoplasty surgery. However I was told I had to have a MRI to have the surgery. I am 325 lbs and too big for their MRI so I was denied surgery. I ask for a reasonable accomidation to have the MRI done at a outpatient facility that has a wide bore MRI Scanner. This request was denied by some supervisory woman who did not introduce herself. I was denied this ADA accommodation and I ask for discharge which was done without any followup help finding an MRI I could fit in. I purchased my own TLSO as I am a retired Physical Therapist hainge practiced at this hospital for about 12 years. t

Their care for my father has been way more than I expected out of an assisted living facility. 2. The list of services is worth every penny spent. 3. Some of the services we were not receiving at another facility were in house doctors and testing. 4. Any time there was a change in my father's care it was implemented as soon as possible. There were no delays in putting in place changes in medication or care. 5. Last, but not least, is the fact that my father has a regular check in by administration and his in house doctor, which I can always count on. This check in is always followed up with communication with me as a reassurance of the level of care he receives. All in all, the level of care he receives is superb!

This clinic is a stand-alone multispecialty facility offering a wide range of services, including primary care, chiropractic care, optometry (vision care), dentistry, oncology, podiatry (foot care), and treatment for traumatic brain injuries (TBI), among others. Compared to my previous clinic, this facility is much more advanced, as many veterans have noted. It's modernized, and I didn't notice many veterans waiting to be seen, which hopefully reflects a reduction in the backlog we know has affected the VA for some time. If you're new to this clinic or the VA system in general, there's an area in the center of the building for registration when you enter. It's also a good idea to create an account through the VA website or mobile app, available for both Apple and Android devices. The VA's mobile app is quite useful, providing a wealth of information on your service, benefits, letters, and, most importantly, details about your appointments and prescriptions. One thing the VA could improve on is giving clearer directions for appointments, as it can be overwhelming for someone new to the system. That said, the staff here have been helpful and informative overall, with plenty of people available to guide you through the process. While some employees may have the attitude issues that others have mentioned, I generally don't let it affect my experience unless it impacts my care. Speaking of care, my experience was a bit mixed. The nurse who took my vitals left the exam room door open, which didn't bother me at first, but I found it odd that the door remained open even after she left. Thankfully, another nurse noticed and kindly closed the door, which I appreciated. I had a very difficult surgery and unfortuneatly, a very negative experience with my surgeouns office. By the time I was ready for PT I was frustrated, distressed, and felt abandoned. I called Spero and in one phone call I felt immediately better. They are compassionate and healing, really listening and explained everything completely puting me at ease and helping me regain my confidence in my recovery.
